We had an incredible 5 nights in Bruno's home. Can't overstate the property and location. Sitting on an estuary between Lagos and Alvor, the views and setting from the deck are incredible. Amazing sunsets. Just down the road is a small beach and the water is perfect for wind sports etc. The house itself is extremely comfortable and the details are well thought out. You can truly relax in this setting. Very comfortable sheets and bedding. Olga and Ivan and their young son live on the property in a separate apartment beneath the main house. They are lovely, incredibly helpful and prepare a wonderful breakfast. We had an excellent holiday in Bruno's home and would highly recommend.

Our stay at Casa LNNoa was nothing short of amazing. A must stay! Joana is the best host and her kindness and hospitality goes beyond anything we have ever experienced in our travels. The wonderful breakfast that Joana prepared every morning was beyond perfect. The privacy of the beautiful pool and landscape was like no other. We enjoyed being so close to Lagos old town, but having the comfort of a home. The decoration and attention to detail of the special room was beautiful and well designed. We loved all the treats that were in the room for us (including a fully stocked fridge) and were surprised and delighted to come back to a bottle of wine and some chocolate! Thank you again to Joana and her lovely family. We hope to return again one day.

Airbnb Review for Guy and Carolyn Staying with Guy and Carolyn was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home with their warm hospitality and great conversation. They had fantastic recommendations for food, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Their home is beautiful, with a spacious private bathroom that added to the comfort of our stay. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the beach, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast they provided, including Carolyn’s homemade orange marmalade, which was incredible! You can truly tell she has a passion for cooking. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home with the best hosts, this is it. Highly recommend!

We stayed 3 nights, but wished we could stay for longer. Very peaceful and beautiful place. Cosy room and very friendly hosts who make you feel like at home. Excellent breakfast freshly prepared by Paola who was always super friendly and caring. Would definitely recommend and would love to visit again :-).

Our group of five stayed over a long weekend and had a great time. Despite different checkin times for all of us, and numerous requests and questions throughout our trip, the hosts were always incredibly helpful and flexible. We will definitely be back! Thanks again. ❤️

Wij verbleven 11 dagen bij Javiera en Victor en het was fantastisch! Javiera en Victor zijn heel gastvrij en flexibel. Elke ochtend maakten ze een heerlijk ontbijt klaar. De tafel was altijd heel mooi gedekt. We vonden het gezellig om elke dag met hen te babbelen zodat we hen beter konden leren kennen. Ook met de andere gasten samen ontbijten was heel fijn. Elke ochtend werden er tips en verhalen uitgewisseld. Het huis zelf is supermooi en op wandelafstand (30 minuten) van Lagos en op 10 minuten van het strand. Het huis is heel rustig gelegen. Javiera en Victor kuisen elke dag. Tijdens ons verblijf hebben ze ook tweemaal onze lakens ververst, dit was geweldig! Je kan gebruikmaken van het mooie zwembad. Het huis straalt rust uit, net zoals Javiera en Victor. Het was zo fijn om Javiera en Victor te leren kennen. Het zijn echt heel warme mensen! Superhard bedankt Javiera en Victor deel uit te maken van onze vakantie in Lagos! Wij hebben ervan genoten van onze vakantie en van jullie!

Wir können uns den guten Bewertungen vollumfänglich anschliessen - Katja und Ed sind tolle und herzliche Gastgeber! Die Wohnung ist genial, liegt wirklich sehr praktisch und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben. Wir haben in den Restaurants im Ort super gegessen. Vielen Dank für alles!

Die Küche ist nur nutzbar, wenn man länger bleibt - also für Wanderer/Pilgerer: nicht einplanen! Es gab ein wirklich tolles Frühstück mit viel Auswahl! Alles sauber.

One of the best parts of the stay was the amazing breakfast provided as part of the reservation. It was delicious and such a thoughtful touch! The outside area and the resort itself are so tranquil and relaxing. It felt like a little slice of paradise, perfect for unwinding and recharging. Plus, the location is ideal—close to the town center, so it’s easy to explore and enjoy everything nearby. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. This place is a gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, peaceful, and convenient getaway. Can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at Fazenda Viegas was amazing. I stayed with my husband and two small kids in the garden apartment. It was beautifully clean and the surroundings were (beyond) perfect. There was plenty of activities in the grounds to keep the kids entertained. It was peaceful and private. We are already planning when we can return!

Natercia is helpful and friendly and her breakfasts delicious. The room was pleasant, the bed comfortable and the garden and communal areas pretty and well maintained. The location is quiet and the views from the rooms beautiful.

Really nice Airbnb! Anna was such a sweetheart and so caring! The breakfast was nice with a lot of fresh stuff (fruits, juice, oatmilk) It was really clean and cozy. I loved the outdoor area & the rooftop. Also good located, you can walk everywhere.

Strongly recommend staying here!! Anne Marie and her husband are so lovely and make you feel so welcome :) The room is beautiful too and has a great private bathroom and a terrace! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit, wir waren sogar 2 Mal dort, weil es uns dort so gut gefallen hat! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus bietet viele Kurse und extra schöne Programme wie z. B. sunset Suptouren, Pizza Abend , Konzerte etc. vielen Dank!!!

This place has everything you need; the bed was very comfortable, the room had good AC, and we were able to do some laundry during our stay. Simao also provided a breakfast and some snacks, and had some great recommendations for nearby restaurants.

We loved our stay- Lilia and Maria were wonderful hosts and very sweet! We enjoyed our breakfast on the balcony each morning, overlooking Lagos. Short walking distance to amazing restaurants and beaches. Lilia was very accommodating, giving recommendations and booking tours for us. Room was simple with everything we needed. We recommend parking at the recommended public parking lot as it’s tough to navigate the smalls streets near the apartment. Look for the 3 Maria’s sign as it can be a little tricky to find the apartment the first time around. Overall, amazing stay and would gladly stay again 😊

100% worth it. Yes, it's a bit out of the way but I couldn't recommend this place more. We stayed in Room #2 which I believe is the King adjacent to the pool. The decor was so well done. The breakfast is delicious and hospitality was amazing. We had an early bus ride back to Lisbon and Marlene packed us some snacks for our journey back which saved us a lot of trouble. Some small details that I don't think other people have mentioned, the water pressure is great in the shower and you won't have a problem with hot water. Simply a great experience here. If you're lucky, you'll get to see the horses across the field! Ubers are super cheap and they had no problem getting to this location. We rented a car for a day and had no problem parking. There was plenty of space and room for more. Couldn't recommend Marlene's place more and it was easily the best AirBNB experience we had in Portugal by far.
