Vila Real District : locations de vacances avec petit déjeuner

This was a dream vacation - we had just moved to Portugal and spent 2 weeks getting setup. We wanted a quiet week as a family to rest before school started. This place was perfect: perched on a mountainside in the middle of vines, the space was quiet, peaceful and beautifully designed and appointed. Paulo, the husband, is an architect who refurbishes vintage designer furniture. Teyna, the wife, is an amazing chef. Her breakfasts (included) we delicious and the dinners they offer in their adjoining restaurant and well crafted and tasty. Their place is pet friendly - we brought our dog, and they have a dog, two cats and two birds. We did outings to Porto, nearby Roman ruins, historic villages and swam in the rivers running through them. It was delightful.

Excelente. un lugar magnífico, casa antigua, con muebles de época, terraza, equipadísimo, con detalles únicos, como traer el pan a la puerta para el desayuno. el lugar más agradable y recomendable de los muchos que he visitado por Airbnb en España, Portugal, Italia, Francia y Alemania.

It’s a bit of a drive off the beaten path to get there (car GPS had no problem) but well worth the drive! A lovely vineyard with spectacular views from every angle! Even though we were there in mid Oct, went for a very refreshing swim in the pool that is steps away from our room. Just a short walk away is a lovely waterfall on the grounds. Sonia lives on site - she is a gem. She does all the cleaning as well as offers laundry service (for a very small fee). The place was spotless & well appointed. We were provided with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cereal, several cartons of milk & juice, butter, jams, ham & cheese. We also were provided with copious amounts of a variety of fruit (oranges & kiwi grown right there in the vineyard) The piece de resistance were the homemade (by Sonia) rolls and croissants we received every morning - they were the bomb!! Enough food for us to enjoy for breakfast & lunch! Stay here. It will NOT disappoint.

If Paulo’s place is available, stop looking elsewhere and book it NOW since it is the closest thing to heaven that you can find in Douro! The place is amazing and the view is breathtaking! In addition to everything that is already perfect, from the fresh fruits and bread in the morning to the restaurant recommendations and reservations, they were always so kind and helpful! We had an amazing time and would come back anytime!

Pra mim e minha familia, nada melhor. Combinamos um local próximo a natureza e a regiões linda do Douro. Ótimo para estadia longa. voltarei sempre que puder. Valeu e muito. Muito limpo e anfitriões educadissimos.

Beautiful home, the view is amazing and the home is very well stocked with food for snacks and breakfast. Even port to enjoy on the deck with a wonderful view of the river and town. Communication was great and the host was always very responsive. The road to the home wasn’t as bad as feared but the parking was tricky. Beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend!! Wish we had been able to stay longer. All restaurant recommendations were tasty!

It was a wonderful stay. The house is spacious and modern and clean. It’s a small town so having breakfast brought to us in the morning was wonderful and plentiful and delicious. Helena is a charm, so warm

Staff was wonderful, very helpful and responsive. We had a delightful wine tasting. They set up a taxi to take us to town and told us where to have dinner. The small village was extremely charming, we had a great dinner and our taxi driver was waiting to take us back after. The room and property were top notch. the only minor issue we had and it may be our fault, is we were further away from the Douro Valley than we thought. The directions were correct, but I missed my turn into the property, it isnt much of a road and it sneaks up on you. It would be challenging to find at night. But in the end, we were extremely pleased with our experience and very glad we stayed. We would wholeheartedly recommend it!!

Je krijgt meer dan je ziet. Zeer rustig en in prachtige omgeving. De host is bescheiden en netjes. Uitmuntend. Minstens 6 sterren.

what a sublime place. it was perfect. the location is outstanding, the people are great. the views are incredible. our time here was the icing on the cake for our portugal trip. we would hope to come back.

This was just a perfect apartment overlooking the historic Roman bridge crossing the river. The location is magical. I had several wonderful meals from Tres Sete and Burguesia and they are so close to the apartment. I also loved my spa treatments at Termas de Chaves, which is a five minute walk away. I stayed 3 nights and wish it I could have stayed longer. Chaves is a very cute city and this was a very great place to stay. I didn't really use the kitchen but it has everything you could want. I hope to return again soon.

host nos recebeu muito bem, com dicas de restaurantes e tudo ❤️ eu e meu esposo amamos a estadia! o quarto era exatamente como nas fotos, lindo!!! apesar da chuva, conseguimos também aproveitar bastante o salão de jogos e a piscina interna. já queremos voltar!

We were a group of 3. We travel a lot and we really appreciated all of the thoughtful touches at Ana's place! We drove from Porto and arrived early and Ana was very flexible about allowing us to leave our bags earlier than the check in time. Of the Airbnbs in Portugal, this was our favorite. Do not expect modern decorations but you can count on many comforts that other Airbnbs do not have. Not only is fresh bread delivered each morning but Ana also stocked her kitchen with fresh fruit, milk, juice, sugar, honey, jams, plenty of coffee pods, and she stocked the refrigerator with cheese, eggs, beer, a bottle of wine. The place is very spacious and could have comfortably accommodated more than 3 people. There are cosy bathrobes in the closets, an extra blanket, slippers and plenty of outlets in the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony is so lovely and peaceful. If you come to Pinhao, I highly recommend Ana's place!

De passage pour un mariage au Portugal, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Hôte très accueillant, propreté irréprochable, hôte très serviable. Nous avons passés un très bon séjour.

Quinta da Xandica, located just outside of Valença do Douro village, was a fantastic, and unique experience. It’s rare these days to find an Airbnb hosted by a “real” (boots on the ground) host who is not only there to share local knowledge and accommodates your needs, but literally who also welcomes you in to the ACTUAL family home. It reminded me of a traditional bed and breakfast, in all of the best ways. (Including a lovely breakfast in a dining room!!!) The Quinta was home to Matilde”s great grandfather, and is shared today with her grandmother and father (three generations). It’s a working farm, and an all around charming, beautiful place. Even during our unseasonably rainy visit, the grounds and area was stunning. Practically speaking, the bed was comfortable & the water hot. Dinner made by Matilde was a reasonably priced and delicious with estate wine. We also thoroughly interaction with other guests, the chipped dog, “Bill”, and access to the surrounding area. A treasure!

André e sua equipe são muito agradáveis, atenciosos. O local da estadia é impecável e muito confortável. Com toda certeza voltaria para me hospedar com ele. Recomendo 100%, pois o custo-benefício é muito grande. A equipe está de parabéns!!

Cidalia’s place was outstanding. Beautiful room, and amazing views. Gorgeous pool right above Douro. Dary Cidalia’s son was super helpful with every small request. He is a chef, and the breakfast he served was not only delicious with a huge variety, but also beautifully served. La habitación era amplia y estaba impecable, el sitio es bonito y tranquilo y el desayuno excelente. Lástima que no pudimos aprovechar más la piscina porque hacía bastante fresco. Lo recomendaría a familias con pequeños que quieran hacer excursiones por la zona, que es muy bonita.
