Vila Real District : locations de vacances dans des gîtes à la ferme

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans la "Casa da Mata". Perdue au cœur du domaine viticole et en lisière de forêt, cette maison pleine du charme de l'ancien, bien rénovée et tout confort, est parfaite. Chaque pièce possède une belle vue ! Mais la plus belle vue reste celle depuis la terrasse où nous prenions tous nos repas. Nous avons aussi adoré nos échanges avec Fernanda, la meilleure hôte que vous pouvez espérer. Et sa cuisine est un délice ! Fernanda nous régalait de bons produits du jardin, tomates figues & œufs.. Et du très bon pain, amené chaque matin !!! Nous ne pouvons que la remercier à nouveau pour sa gentillesse. Nous garderons longtemps en tête cette belle semaine perchée sur les hauteurs du Douro. J'oubliais : la piscine et les espaces communs ont également ajouté une belle plus value à cette semaine.

A lovely place, amazing view, super easy and fluent communication with the host. Super helpful and kind. I wouldn't write an excellent review hoping the place will be available next time ;-). But both Sansão and his father, who lives next door and we met briefly, are so friendly and kind, the deserve the best review ever. Thanks for everything, we enjoyed every moment of our stay

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Make time to taste the wine that is made right on property, as well as the small local wineries. I personally found these wines tasted better than the big ones because the wines were made with more passion and heart into the art of wine making. Beautiful home, beautiful place and I hope to come back one day. Recommended to not have a large vehicle as the roads can be quite narrow.

Die superschöne Anlage ist eine Oase im etwas trubeligen Umfeld der Stadt Vila Real. Ins und ihre Leute sind sehr freundlich und extrem nett, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Jeden Morgen wird frisches Brot ans Haus gebracht, toller Service, auch die tägliche Reinigung des Bungalows ist sehr angenehm. Die Gartenflächen sind sehr gut gepflegt, der Pool wird täglich gereinigt, das Wasser ist superklar und erfrischend. Unser Bungalow war geräumiger als es auf den Bildern aussah und durch die dicken Granitwände auch bei 33 Grad Außentemperatur wunderbar kühl. Die Ausflugstipps sind liebevoll gezeichnet und gut durchdacht. Alles in allem hatten wir zu viert eine wunderbare Woche bei Ines. Vielen Dank!

We had a wonderful stay. The location is beautiful and good for exploring nearby wine farms. The hosts are also very accomodating - we felt at home with them. We appreciated the extra touches like the coffee and bread they provided, a taste of the wine they produce at check-in and recommendations for nearby restaurants and sightseeing. The only downside was the nearby church bell that also rings at night, but the area is otherwise so peaceful that it did not bother us much. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a relaxing stay in the Douro region!

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having two bathrooms. The patio was nice to enjoy too with great views all around. We had a car with us and we're able to park it across the street in an off street parking space. Julio was kind to give us a quick talk about the region and a taste of his delicious port wine.

This place ought to be officially recognized as a national treasure! The house and grounds are full of historic charm and the scenery is spectacular. The farm fresh breakfast was truly impressive and the hospitality was top notch. We stayed for two nights but would have been very happy to have stayed for an entire week if our schedule had allowed for it. Many thanks to the owners for creating such a wonderful guest house and for the warm welcome and great sightseeing tips. It was the highlight of our trip from Canada.

A casa é maravilhosa, em uma vizinhança encantadora e rodeada por muita natureza. Aproveitamos trilhas incríveis e caminhamos cerca de 20km em dois dias. A hospitalidade do Manuel foi impecável, sempre presente e atencioso, com ótimas recomendações e suporte. Um dos melhores anfitriões que já tive. Agradeço pela empatia e cuidado.

L’appartamento è confortevole e con tutto il necessario per viverci in comodità. Franz è un host gentile, disponibile e discreto. Ci ha dato la possibilità di usare la sua piscina visto il caldo di quei giorni , di mangiare l’uva che coltiva e i limoni . Raramente ci siamo trovati così bene. Abbiamo anche avuto la compagnia del suo simpaticissimo gatto Tom che ogni tanto veniva a farci un saluto. La casa è in una posizione lontana dal caos della città e offre un paesaggio incantevole. E’ necessario disporre di un automobile per spostarsi.

Abbiamo passato 9 notti in Portogallo e senza dubbio le 2 notti passate da Ines sono state le più belle anche se il meteo non è stato clemente .. gli animali il camino e la tranquillità del luogo ci hanno riempito le giornate. Le nostre bambine non vedono l’ora di tornare e sempre ricorderanno con piacere le giornate passate qui .. grazie di tutto

Comfortable place right outside a small village. No real shopping in the village so buy groceries on the way in. Paula is in the process of redoing her patio and it looks like a pool is part of the renovation. When finished, it will be a great amenity. The upstairs bedrooms are all a nice size ( one is suitable for a twin bed) and bathrooms are modern and clean. The kitchen has enough stock to allow for decent meal prep and Paula has oil, spices, etc on hand. There’s a decent sitting area on front patio with upholstered patio group and nice views from most all of the windows. A family or 3 couples could make this home work for a holiday. The home is a good base to explore the region, there are beautiful towns and wineries nearby. This is a house with many steps to front door and all bedrooms are up on another floor. Probably not a great choice for a person with mobility problems. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others

Carla was very responsive to any issues we had. Very helpful and friendly despite the language differences. Casa Sophia is a perfect as a base for exploring the northern region of Portugal.

Geweldige plek tussen de wijngaarden. Ontzettend lieve en gastvrije mensen die je hun druiven laten eten en hun zelfgemaakte wijn en port laten proeven. Heerlijk verblijf gehad en ieder en aan te raden om hier te verblijven.

Espaço fenomenal e anfitriões bastante simpáticos. Foi pena não termos acesso à piscina, mas foi uma pequena lacuna que em nada afetou a experiência. No check in apenas falhou não conseguir estabelecer contacto imediato, mas ligaram após um tempo o que também não causou constrangimentos. Vista lindíssima e muito acolhedor. Certamente voltarei

La Quinta est située dans un bel environnement au calme. Elle dispose d'une climatisation et d'une terrasse très agréable pour prendre le petit déjeuner. C'est le lieu idéal pour se reposer, faire des randonnées dans le parc naturel ou faire une excursion dans la vallée du Douro à environ 40 minutes en voiture. Ana est très disponible et de bons conseils pour trouver des activités aux alentours.

Nous sommes vraiment hyper contents de nos vacances… le lieu est tout simplement un paradis ! Tellement mieux en vrai qu’en photo… la maison est très bien équipée, 3 sdb, 3 wc, vraiment tout ce qu’il faut (sauf de lave linge) le jardin paradisiaque, très vert, grand, des fruits partout, 2 balançoires, la piscine est immense 🤩 la vue est dingue, les propriétaires d’une gentillesse incroyable !! Les gérantes ont toujours de bonnes adresses… franchement incroyable !! Nous recommandons vivement cette région, cet emplacement et de rencontrer ces gens qui sont formidable ! Merci

This is a perfect place to go spend time with your loved ones. Away from cities and overall people. The house is cozy and has everything that you need and even more to make the stay memorable! Me and Henry loved being there and would have like to stay even more! Maria Celeste was very helpful to find us lost tourists from the mountains in darkness. And showed us the way to the cabin. Be aware that the road might not be for everyone to drive. But you can always leave the car up the hill and walk to the house. Ww would love to go back soon to the beautiful and adventurous place!

Our stay at Lugar das Letras was nothing short of magical. This beautifully restored house, once an old school, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards—a true feast for the eyes. The rooms and bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, thoughtfully designed to make us feel at home. But what made our experience truly unforgettable were Carla and Paula, the two wonderful ladies who took care of every detail. Every morning, they prepared a memorable breakfast for our entire family, filled with warmth and care. Their kindness and hospitality turned our stay into a dream. We can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise in the Douro Valley. Highly recommended!

Beautiful house by the lake, in a very peaceful village. Had a wonderful stay with my girlfriend and we couldn't be happier!

I can't say enough about how incredible this Airbnb was, Carla and her property were so beyond expectations. My family and I felt extremely comfortable there, it is remote but absolutely beautiful. We were not able to use the pool, because the weather was a little bit cold. I jumped in for like 20 minutes and even though it was cold it was very nice. Carla was so communicative the entire time we were there, she made lots of helpful suggestions and helped us to book a tour around the Douro Valley and surrounding areas. She and a friend also cooked us breakfast every morning, which was delicious and helped us to start our day. 10 out of 10, I would absolutely return.

My family and I loved this elegant beautifully decorated with original art work villa that has orange and lemon trees that we made fresh orange juice every morning. The little town of Oliveriera(sp?) was great to walk around. It rained a lot while we were there 4 nites in April 2025 so I think that a summer stay would be better in order to use the pool and try the grapes in their vineyards. Sergio and Josesandre? Gave us 2 bottles of wine from their vineyard which was delicious. Luckily the heaters worked just fine so we could warm up the house. The WiFi and internet worked great also. Luved it! Andrea

Beautiful house with a beautiful view. We really enjoyed our stay, and Elisabete was very easy to communicate with and responsive to anything we needed. She even provided a crib. Thanks so much for hosting us!

Great place with everything you need for a family vacation. We loved the large garden and pool. The house has everything you need, with a fully equipped kitchen. Maria and her husband were very friendly! We would love to stay there again
