Great stay and convenient location! The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Pool was amazing and the house is walking distance to the town with tons of restaurants and the beach.

I cannot say enough great things about this airbnb. First, the host was super responsive and organized rides from the airport for us and proactively checked if things were going ok. Willy is the manager and was beyond amazing. We had major flight issues and he helped us with transportation changes and then let us stay an extra day when a flight was cancelled. He also arranged a great zipline tour for the kids. The location is perfect-away from the business of the town but an easy walk into town and to the beach. The house was comfortable and it was nice that our kids each had their own room and bathroom. The house has a really nice backyard area with a pool and it was fun to be outside even in the rain since there was a covered area. It was also great that we were able to avoid renting a car and just walk everywhere. Overall, we had a great time here and I am very grateful for such help from Willy and Sandi.

From the moment we arrived, Brenda made us feel welcome with her warm and friendly demeanor. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, even helping us arrange transportation to explore the areas we wanted to tour (a paid service, but so worth it for the convenience). The property itself was a slice of paradise. The home is private and well-maintained, complete with a stunning waterfall pool that was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of adventures. The surrounding jungle views are breathtaking—you feel completely immersed in the natural beauty of this incredible country. We loved it so much that we even found ourselves discussing the possibility of living here permanently. Strongly recommend this accommodation. The thing that we really loved is that you enter the home, you're still technically outdoors the common living areas are exposed to the sky but the place is nice and private for yourself and your friends. The bedrooms are fully protected which made sleeping very comfortable. It was really nice being able to jump into the pool and then walk around the common areas without having to dry off. Location was perfect. It was a peaceful location but still within walking distance of everything so just left the cars and walked everywhere. Would definitely stay here again

Great quiet location, but a little far from good options for food. A car is definitely necessary if you are going to eat out. We just bought food at the local market and brought it back to cook. It was very quiet and we had monkeys right outside and had fun watching them every morning and afternoon. Ocotal beach is just a 2 minute walk away! Would stay again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic house, and I can't recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the property was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The house is well-equipped, providing all the amenities and comforts one could ask for, making our stay incredibly convenient and enjoyable. One of the highlights was the beautiful pool—a private oasis where we spent many hours relaxing and soaking up the sun. Our kids especially enjoyed the pool, and it provided endless fun and entertainment for them. The outdoor area is also very private, offering a secluded and peaceful atmosphere that allowed us to truly unwind. In terms of location, this house is a gem. It is conveniently situated close to some of the most beautiful beaches in the area. The proximity to the coast allowed us to easily explore and enjoy the stunning shoreline and its crystal-clear waters.

We loved our stay so much at Casa Bianca that we extended. Marie was so helpful. Beautifully furnished, comfortable beds and linens, super clean! The pool area was beautiful with lovely loungers. The outdoor kitchen was a great spot to hang out and prepare meals. Having a washer and dryer was so nice after traveling for a while. The location is perfect, short walk to beach, restaurants and shops. We loved that they provided beach chairs too. WiFi was strong to catch up on emails or research things to do. I would highly recommend staying and we are already looking at return dates. Playa Grande is a perfect location to do day trips from, we explored Tamarindo, Playa Flamingo and Brasilito. Marie provided great directions and a nice welcome package for nearby things to do. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Our group loved the place! All the bedrooms being en-suites was a BIG plus for us. Loved the view & the pool! Gated community was peaceful and very centric.

Casa Blanca was perfect for our family stay. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants and a quick drive to Playa Brasalita where you can access Playa Conchal (don't miss it). The pool was perfect for lounging around in the heat of the day and the pool help kept everything spotless. The kitchen had every cooking appliance you need and we apreciated that there were containers for leftovers and taking things to the beach. That said, there are no cooking supplies other than salt pepper and coffee makings. So if you're planning to cook, just know that you'll have to supply ALL you own spices, oils, etc.

The house was in a good location, the walk to the beach was ok, could have been better with some shoulders on the road or a side walk this has nothing to do with the rental of house. The yard is very private, the house could use with a little up dating inside, but was just fine , every thing worked. Lucas was always very helpful. The gardener was very friendly. The house keeper did a very good job. The pool was great, could use a few repairs on tile work. No problem with getting a chair. The permanent residents in the compound were very friendly and were helpful with information of the area. Great weather, sun and sand what else do we need. Thanks Magali's for the rental and your prompt communication to all our questions.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Xanadu! The views were unbelievable and the amenities were exactly as described. The photos were very accurate and the A/C was amazing. If you’re going, I would definitely recommend bringing gallons of water and renting 4x4s as the hill is quite steep. With the 4x4 golf carts, the location was incredibly manageable with great access to town and the beach. Adrianna was incredibly helpful leading up to our stay and during the stay organizing last minute transportation for our group to golf and get to the airport very quickly. She was incredibly organized and knowledgeable. I cannot stress enough how AMAZING the views were. We were in HEAVEN.

Great stay at this home, contemporary and clean and a quality home. Love the backyard table and private pool area for gathering with a group. Walking distance from the beach and local restaurants so you can keep the car parked and lean back. Internet worked well as well as good hot water supply when needed for multiple guest showers, etc. would be happy to return! This area is being developed quite a bit with new construction in Santa Cruz and looks like the homes near this house are near completion. Work wasn’t noisy during our stay.

Your house was beautiful. The house, along with brand new bathrooms and air conditioners were wonderful. The air conditioners worked excellent along with the ceiling fans and I am warm natured. I was always very comfortable. The setting was truly gorgeous. I won`t forget the priceless sunsets we watched most nights from the multiple decks or on the beach 150 steps away or the cliff above the beach. The neighborhood was gorgeous and extremely secure. You never had to worry about anything being in a locked gate community. Everything we needed was provided from pots and pans to an ice chest and chairs if you needed them. The pool was nice too and the surfboard shower. Having 2 1/2 bathrooms was very nice. Everything about the house was ideal. Unfortunately I was at a large gathering before we came and got sick and brought it with me. We stayed inside a lot and got out when we were feeling up to it. Ron and Crysta were so helpful!!!

Très belle maison . Ce n’est pas une maison adaptée à de jeunes enfants cependant. Min petit fils a fait une chute dans les escaliers à travers la rampe. Lieu sécuritaire Nous nous sentions en sécurité. Beaucoup de poussière extérieur à cause des rues. Ça serait bien de récupérer pas de poubelles à cet effet. Nous avons aimé mais nous ne retournerons pas à Tamarindo tout est trop cher.

Exceptionnel. Accueil organisé avec une dame qui explique la maison, on est à 10 min max à pied de la plage. Les shampoings et savons sont bio et rechargeables, la démarche écologique est appréciée. La maison est plus belle que sur les photos, le jacuzzi est super, bref , une pépite.

The photo’s don’t do it justice. The best place we stayed in Costa Rica. The place makes you want to stay in and not go out. Can’t say enough for the host. Responsive, helpful, and flexible. Great place all the way around. Met some of the neighbors as well, everyone was welcoming.

Andrés es un sol! Nos ayudaba con todo y respondía súper rápido! La casa estaba súper bonita y amplia y se sienta muy bien! Lo único que falta algún equipamiento de la cocina y está en un sitio donde se necesita coche para ir a tamarindo y a las playas pero con coche está todo cerca :) La estancia ha sido súper cómoda y el lugar es bonito! Éramos dos chicas y nos sentimos súper seguras en todo momento :)

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour. La propriété est tel que décrite, confortable, convivial et intime. La superbe plage et les commerces locaux sont facilement accessibles, à plus ou moins 20 minutes de marche. Benoit et Gender, étaient réactif à nos demandes.

We had a lovely time here. The house is so great, it felt like home. Wished we could’ve stayed longer! The house is like the pictures but the atmosphere is even better! We also like to add that you can even see some wildlife in the garden. We had iguana’s visiting us everyday. Small and bigger ones. Beautiful to see. In the big tree there were even some parrots. 🦜 I would 100% recommend this airbnb!

This was the perfect place to stay as a family. Our two kids loved the pool, and the horses on the property. Great location, close to supermarkets, local restaurants and 10 minute drive to Tamarindo and beaches. I can’t emphasize enough how special this place was and how comfortable our family felt being there. Would 100000% go back. If you needed anything the host was super responsive and helpful. I can go on and on about this place. I would definitely recommend it!

Arrived later in the day and Esteban meet us at the gate and welcomed us to the house and showed us around. Esteban was always very helpful with any concerns that popped up as we settled in. Esteban and Jackson were out a few times to sort out some minor issues promptly and always so helpful. The house and pool were just as shown on the website. Rooms and amenities were just great. The drive down to Potrero took about 10 min. You would need a vehicle to get around from this location. Suggest that you don’t try to drive the Monkey Trail the first time at night. What a ride!! With a vehicle you can access many beaches with a short drive.
