I can't express how great the host, the house, and the surroundings area was. I loved everything about it. There wasn't a question or need that wasn't addressed immediately. The host was beyond friendly and made us feel at home. You will be close to the airport and have a beautiful view of the island as you drive around. I would highly recommend them.

Verna’s place was super close to the airport and was exactly as described. Verna was an excellent host and communicated clearly and effectively. There’s also a restaurant downstairs which is a blessing after a long flight. Would definitely recommend.

This place was awesome from beginning to end. The hosts were great, so helpful and communicative. I can’t say enough about the view… book on a full moon! Incredible. We had fun watching planes land. The hosts even helped with transportation, and we are so thankful to have met them!! Incredible people and hosts. We will definitely be back ASAP!!

Very friendly and bent over backwards to accommodate us. The place was as seen in the pictures. It’s walking distance to a few local night spots and markets. Great value and great host!

Second time staying at one of Jean’s apartments. Fabulous beach, resort, restaurant and grounds. Jean’s place was very comfortable and clean. Excellent value for the money.

Great stay , very convenient for beaches and food! Philip was very helpful and kind, he was able to show us around and gave us a lift. Would recommend to anyone! He also arranged the taxi to the port for our departure!

Great spot! If you want quiet and to get away from it all this is the place to go! I loved their cat…he came by every morning with his big meow and slept with us one night. 🤗

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Majel’s. The apartment is well laid out and well appointed with original artwork on the walls, a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. We loved so many things about the house and our trip: the gardens and the views, the quiet and privacy, the sound of the tree frogs at night, the filtered water, the great water pressure and hot showers, the clothing line for wet suits, proximity to everything, Bambi’s fresh pressed sugar cane juice on the way to the beaches, local organic produce from a roadside stand, lunch spots along the water and more. The apartment was clean and exactly as described. We cooked in the meals in the kitchen several times and had dinners on the porch watching the sunset. We found that our host was lovely and communication was easy. We are hoping to return.

Dian (the local host) was wonderful! I felt right at home and comfortable in the space. It’s very close to town and I didn’t hear any noise whatsoever during my stay. I loved the location (it’s not on a hill). A great place for travellers and those looking for a more genuine local stay. Loved it.

El lugar es súper amplio, cómodo, limpio y cuenta con todo lo necesario para tu estadía. Solo tienes que llevar tu comida , lo demás lo tiene el lugar. Patio limpio y acogedor. Patricia siempre estuvo en comunicación con nosotros y Alphonso es un ser espectacular. Una familia en Tórtola!!!

First of all, the hosts are amazing. Patricia followed up throughout my stay without “hovering.” Alphonso greeted me with patience (it was a long day of travel and my brain wasn’t functioning on all cylinders!) and a big smile. He suggested we get takeaway from Sebastian’s, an easy walk, before they closed for the evening. The food was delicious. The chicken wings are definitely hot…just as I hoped! Settling in was easy. I immediately felt relaxed especially on the porch listening to the neighborhood settle in and then for coffee the next morning. The beach at Apple Bay is clean, private, the water is stunning to look at and refreshing. Patricia and Alphonsos place is ideal for anyone who appreciates immersing themselves in an off the beaten path location. If you yearn to explore everything Tortola has to offer you can also rent a car directly with Alphonso.

Casa Caribe is an idyllic apartment set just a couple of metres above the waves. Apple Bay beach runs to the right - access a few houses down the road - and our favourite beach, Long Bay, is a couple of minutes drive in the other direction. And then there is Smuggler's beach or Cane Garden ... beaches aplenty. Sebastians in two minutes walk away if you don't want to cook but the kitchen is excellent and well equipped if you do. Parking is a bit tricky the first time but seemed simple after a couple of days.
