I loved my stay. it was exactly how it was advertised. I enjoyed the surroundings and local restaurants. There was a little construction being done around the area, however it didn't bother me. I will definitely book again.

Great stay, was clean and looked like the pictures. There was some construction going on on the entire street so was a little annoying getting through that but that is out of their control so not a big deal! Super close to the beach and Cova (coffee and brewery) which was amazing

This is where my husband and I stayed after his return from deployment. After 8 months of sleeping on ship he felt right at home. We had a wonderful experience and the host was very attentive.

Nice place and very convenient. Read the information for booking. The city is replacing the water lines so there is flooding on the street but nothing that should deter you from booking. There is plenty of parking to avoid the water.

Was very cozy for a quick weekend trip! Host was very responsive and all amenities worked fine! Had no issues with the tv or WiFi! Would book again!!

Nice apartment, Great location

This apartment was well furnished and extremely comfortable. The host was very helpful and flexible with check in and advice throughout the stay. The apartment was very clean with all kitchen amenities necessary to cook your own meals. The location is great for the beach, access to the Navy Base and many great restaurants in Norfolk. I have no complaints and would highly recommend this host and location.

The Pelican was a perfect retreat. The house is beautiful and fully equipped. It’s so convenient to town which is so quaint yet filled with lots to do. The 3rd floor porch at sunset has views to die for. Can’t wait to return!

The cutest little one-story 1920's home with a lovely view of the fountain at the park! Perfect for our small family. Comfy beds, clean rooms, space to spread out, excellent front porch and back deck. Easy parking in the back for our car and golf cart. Beach chairs in the shed. We've stayed in several houses in Cape Charles and this is the most modern decor that felt like a boutique hotel. Two notes: it's currently for sale so we did notice some looky loos and there is no outdoor shower. Otherwise, a 9/10!

Chesapeake Properties was such a wonderful host/manager. Quick responses, great recommendations, and extremely helpful. The house was spotless and comfortable. It was steps to the life center and few more to the beach. Just such an enjoyable stay. Thank you for all you did!!

Beautiful historic home in a great location and street. Only a short walk to the beach and downtown. The house has been renovated and decorated with taste and quality. It is fully stocked, much more than expected! Especially the kitchen that has everything a cook might need! Beds (mattresses) are a bit tired. It has a great lower level bathroom and a beautiful, huge, laundry room that makes it all much more functional and comfortable. The back yard is a dream, lots of spaces to relax, entertain, grill or roast marshmallows and gorgeous at night with mini lights. The outdoor shower is wonderful to have. The front porch and veranda are great at all hours especially after the beach! We were a three generation family with six adults and the space worked perfectly fine.
