We had an absolutely wonderful time at The Canary Island! Pete & Kim are amazing hosts! The house was stunning, so beautifully decorated and the scenic view on the back deck is everything and more! We had everything we needed and more for our weekend stay, from complimentary coffee, soda, wine and water to all toiletries that we could possibly need. I loved all the personalized recommendations for restaurants and beaches. Pete & Kim went above and beyond to make my children's birthday extra special by welcoming us with balloons, snacks, birthday decorations & even added American flags for my son who is a Marine. It was so thoughtful and we truly felt welcomed. Thank you so much for helping us to feel at home!

Such a great space to stay on vacation. Easy access to Norfolk, The Beach, and Casino!!! Beautiful home and Jason was very attentive and answered all questions quickly.

Absolutely loved the home and the whole experience! Our only issue was in our arrival and not being aware that high tide would impact when you should attempt getting to the house. More information regarding the tide schedule and if the roads within the houses are accessible would be very helpful. Recommendation to stop at the grocery store before you each the beach access road and what types of things are not supplied at the house would be good, too. Overall we were so very pleased with our stay and Misty was great when we needed her. I would absolutely recommend this house to my friends and family and would love to visit again!

Matthew’s airbnb was amazing! All the photos are accurate. It is spacious with several bedrooms and bathrooms providing each individual with privacy while promoting everyone to hang out in the living room/dining room/kitchen/bar area! The beds were very comfortable. The temperature was perfect. All the kitchen ware was clean and ready to use! 100% recommend to anyone looking to host a large party!

Michelle’s cottage was clean and convenient. It was right on the sound with beautiful views and a private dock. The neighborhood was very quiet. Michelle was helpful and responsive and we look forward to staying there again in the future!

This is a beautiful spacious home with lots of amenities. We loved the open concept and that most of the house is on one level, so not a lot of stairs. The kids really enjoyed playing outside, the playroom and the night we had s"mores by the fire pit.

This was our family’s first AirBNB experience and our stay with Vicki as our host far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we booked to the time we checked out Vicki always responded very fast to our inquiries and she was also very proactive when it came to our needs. The house was clean and very comfortable…..just like home! The kitchen had everything we needed and was perfectly situated to be able to enjoy the morning sunrise while preparing breakfast for the family. When I booked I was fully aware that the home was pet friendly. Other than the present dog bowls available for our furry friends, there were no signs of any previous furry guests :). The pool was extremely clean too and my boys loved it! The only thing that was different for me was having to make our own bed using the provided linens. I was too tired for that after a 5 hour drive. Other than that, I am grateful that I chose Vicki’s beautiful home to enjoy the beautiful and breathtaking Corolla with my family!

This is a quaint home in a nice neighborhood. They kitchen had great appliances, and the home was nicely decorated as a family home. The back yard could have used some attention as it was full of leaves and not able to take our dog outside the fenced area due to the debris. The beds had older mattresses, but the bathrooms were nice. Overall, a great home and I would recommend this to someone needing a dog friendly home.

Great place to stay. Perfect location for all attractions. Would stay again.

It was what the picture show just unexpected in real life

I would definitely stay here again! My absolute favorite part was the deck outside. It had so much seating and a table with an umbrella. The home was lovely. The queen size bed was comfy. The space on the side of the bed with the wall is awkward because the intake vent is there, and that vent is also loud and annoying. Just wear earplugs! We added two of the wooden tray tables from the closet as night stands. The house is clean except the floor, which I'd imagine is hard to sweep or mop because the boards have shifted, making the floor uneven with cracks through out. So the floor felt and looked a bit dirty, but you're by the beach with sand, so eh not a problem.

Charming Cape Charles getaway! I was so happy to find this gem and even more thrilled when I arrived. From the beautiful landscape of the gated community, to the southern charm of this glorious suite…I wanted for nothing. This enormous suite has all the comforts of home and the location was spectacular. The property offered not only a private beach on the bay , a community pool, a beautiful well maintained golf course, it was also a short drive to the charming town of Cape Charles. Dawn offered endless advice to her favorite restaurants, activities to do and places to see while we visited. She was just a text or call away if I needed anything. Her hospitality was beyond measure. I look forward to coming back.

The place is really cute, cozy and clean. What the pictures show is what you get. The host, Velma, is super friendly and responsive.

Velma's place was great! We surprisingly got upgraded to the unit upstairs, which had a porch with a beautiful view of the water. The unit was clean and spacious. It met all our needs. Velma was also very proactive and responsive. I would highly recommend this place.

This was such an amazing place to stay with immediate access to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and all that town center has to offer. The place itself was spotless and comfortable with so much historic charm. And each bedroom had its own bathroom, coffee maker and thermostat. Best of both: hotel convenience with Airbnb charm and privacy! We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at the Simple Life. Everything was exactly as the listing pictured it. While the house is on the older and smaller side compared to many of the other rentals in Sandbridge, it has clearly been impeccably maintained. We enjoyed the pool and being just two blocks from the beach, which was uncrowded. My only minor complaint is that the bunk bed in the second bedroom wasn’t super comfortable and it was very squeaky, which wasn’t ideal since I was sharing it with my sleeping newborn, and my senior mom had some trouble getting up on the bed in the primary because it was so high off the ground. But that is seriously such a minor thing. The kitchen was well-equipped and we had plenty of towels and access to a washer/dryer, which we didn’t end up using. We had a really wonderful, relaxing time and my dad commented several times he wished we could have stayed another week!

What a beautiful place to stay. Theresa took a chance on renting to us young people and boy am I glad she did. what peaceful mornings watching the sunrise on the dock. Was a lovely place to have our dog. the kitchen was all setup for making wonderful dinners. A town and beach only 30 minutes away gave us plenty to do. Our 6 month old puppy loved the beach... I am so grateful to our host. This space is 1000% worth the money. The host makes it even better handling everything with grace and class.

A Beautiful home with a lovely back yard. Lots of space inside, and lots of amenities for kids. The kitchen was great and had everything I needed. Overall the house was very comfortable, but perhaps a bit under-furnished. Although the listing indicated dedicated office space, I ended up doing most of my work at the dining room table, but that worked well and had a nice view of the river. The network was snappy and reliable. The neighborhood was quiet and the home very private -- My stay was quite enjoyable and the host was responsive when I reached out.
