Virginia : locations de vacances

This was our second time staying here and it’s one of my favorite places to stay. All the little details and extremely beautiful views make this a perfect place to stay. We will be back next year!

Such a charming cabin with many thoughtful touches! I hope to return for future visits.

Our missionary guest and her friend had nothing but high praise for Carrie's Airbnb. They absolutely loved it and stated it had everything you needed to feel right at home. We have used this Airbnb several times for our church guests and all of them tell me how they enjoyed their experience there. If you are ever in the Virginia, Illinois area I would highly recommend a stay at Carrie's place.

Beautiful home with lots to do for my grown children and their children. We had 8 adults and 8 children. The weather was kinda cool, so we just took advantage of relaxing in the house and bonding as a family. The kids enjoyed the video game room and ping pong and pool table and other games in the garage. The hot tub was definitely a plus. Thanks for letting us use this wonderful home. Had a great stay at Linda’s. She was very helpful, great communication and she was great when we asked for a later check out on our last day. Left little treats for us, house was very clean and exactly what we needed for our stay. Would stay again if in the area for travel again.

We immediately felt very comfortable; everything was as described (actually, even better!) and we felt like we were staying at an old friends house. Super clean, with everything needed if you want to prepare your own meals. It was just the two of us, so we had plenty of room. I think it would also be perfect for a small family. We felt safe and the area was quiet and convenient. We spent most of our time in Springfield, which was an easy 30 min drive. We loved being able to come back to Petersburg to relax. Highly recommend this property; the owners were a joy to work with!!

The Virginia Lake Cabin is on a beautiful lake. The property is very peaceful. Love that this peace of history has been preserved for us to enjoy. The cabin is bigger than it appears in the photos. The soaker tub is amazing. The bed is very comfortable. The trail around the property is tranquil. The generous sample of honey is delicious! Would love to come back & enjoy some of the warmer outdoor activities that this cabin offers. It is close to Springfield if you want to explore some of the things they have to offer. Lots of history on Lincoln, the Dana Thomas House, shopping, etc…
