Cozy and quiet in the beautiful countryside. The house was comfortable and filled with nice amenities. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We throughly enjoyed our stay in the Barn Loft. Andrea and Steve are gracious hosts. Prior to our arrival, we received information to prepare for our stay. We received timely communication on the date of our arrival. The property is even better than the pictures display. We truly felt welcome and at home. The furnishings are cozy and the beds are so comfortable. Our family enjoyed meeting the hosts, exploring the property, and the opportunity to rest and to relax in such a beautiful scenic area. We appreciated the fact that our dog could accompany us on this trip. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We look forward to returning.

We just stayed at the Dream Rock Silo bungalow for the 6th time, and every visit has been wonderful. Karen and Bill always make us feel like family. They are exceptional hosts, and their attention to detail and their creativity are amazing. The bungalow is super clean, comfortable, well-crafted, and beautifully furnished and decorated. Outside is always peaceful and relaxing with beautiful views, gardens, rocks, and a stream. We love the very friendly, entertaining shepherds, Max and Joe, who spend every waking minute on our covered patio and in the yard playing ball. The sweet older husky, Folger, also spends time with us and gives us a “lean in”. We rarely leave the property and didn’t leave at all this time. We’re already planning our next visit and can't wait to get back to Dream Rock.

We love staying here and have so many great family memories in this house! It feels like home away from home and we're excited to visit again. The house beautiful and the surroundings are, too.

We wanted a last minute hike and a place to stay nearby. There wasn't a lot left that wasnt booked up and there were many places that charged $60-$100 cleaning fees making the total close to $100 more than the actual nightly price listed. That was not the case here. This place was absolutely beautiful. It was easy to find and we felt right at home inside. Communication was excellent and while we mostly hung out inside after our long hike, there is plenty to do on this farm! I would recommend this place to anyone. We will definitely be staying again.

Hidden Gem definitely deserves its name! Beautiful views with things to do in the area. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our weekend getaway!!

We truly enjoyed our weekend at "Idyllic Mountain Home - Dog Friendly/great views"! It was all of that and more! Charlotte provided detailed info on how to run the wood stove (early March can get chilly) and we were warm and cozy on both levels all weekend. Other info about the house was very detailed. Our two corgis loved wandering around the property, which is elevated and very private! We took a hike with them on Saturday off of Skyline Drive, which was only about a half hour away; lovely! Dinner Saturday night was a milestone birthday celebration at The Inn at Little Washington, and it was worth the splurge! There's a small area near the bedroom where we set up the dogs crates and they were very comfy while we were gone. I highly recommend Charlotte's home for a weekend getaway!!

Very nice and private home, clean and exactly as expected. Had a slight issue during our stay and Zazi was very efficient in resolving it and getting our stay back on track. Would stay again!

So appreciated our stay. First time to hike McAfee’s Knib and staying at Wyatt’s place was the perfect place. Just a few miles from trailhead, clean and peaceful place to return to and lovely brewery just two miles away. Wyatt took us to and from trailhead and was so responsive. Hope to be back for another hiking adventure!

The Red Barn was just what we needed for a quick long weekend getaway. The space is so charming, inside and out, everything is placed with intention and the decor is tasteful and fun. Downtown Cape Charles is super close so we were able to pick up and go whenever the mood struck us, but honestly we were quite content to stick around the house and bask in the surroundings both inside and out. We brought a lot of our own food and had everything we needed to prepare meals as though we were in our own home. Hunter is a very friendly and helpful host, we could not have asked for a better time. Thank you!

What a perfect place to stay when visiting our daughter at school! It’s out of town, yet an easy, short drive to Lexington. The house had everything we needed and more. Everything was well-stocked. Forgot a toothbrush?! No problem! The host was beyond generous with what was supplied. We loved the porch, games, extra blankets, gas grill…it truly was one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had.

We had an excellent stay at Ashleigh and Mike’s place! My kids fell in love with the friendly animals and especially Mabel the dog. They loved searching for frogs and tadpoles too. Kayaking was also very fun! Thank you!

Surprisingly a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The house is beautiful and was very clean. We will definitely stay here again when next in Richmond.

We enjoyed our stay. Just off I-64 and state route 250. Google maps tried to take us to Louisa, which is not close, but Alice helped us locate their farm. Ideal spot for one or two people. The king bed was very comfortable.

Lori's place was exactly what we needed. The space was nice, it was clean, and my wife loved all the Coca-Cola memorabilia. Thanks so much for a great stay! Would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing time I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more , it as just the size we needed to house our son’s wedding party (5 groomsmen plus my family,it was nice having everyone together it was a wonderful stay

Amazing to interact with so many animals! They are doing incredible work here helping all the animals, and they were super supportive of us interacting within their guidelines.

Lovely carriage house on large and private property, very quiet and peaceful. Nikki's home is elegant and delightful. When we arrived it was set up for our arrival with the most romantic and dreamy lighting with music, my husband and I were both delighted!! The apartment style carriage is well decorated with tasteful art and antiques. Nikki and her family were the perfects hosts, ensuring everything we (and our pups) needed during our extended stay. 100% would recommend to anyone traveling in the area, you will be well looked after by Nikki.

We had another wonderful stay at the mill. Joan is a lovely hostess and available if we need her for anything. Such a peaceful place to spend a few days relaxing.

We didn’t want to leave! This was a perfect place. Breath taking views from walking the land to observing the starry night sky. Definitely would stay here again!

Kelly and Phil are warm, helpful and very professional hosts. The house is as advertised, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, and in a lovely setting. We will be back!
