I could not recommend this place and these hosts enough! The place was warm and welcoming and I absolutely love the location. A very peaceful neighborhood with easy bay access. The hosts were amazing and responsive. The house had some maintenance problems but at no fault of theirs…just typical house problems and they handled everything extremely well and we were not inconvenienced at all! Also our dog loved the place and they were stocked will all the dog necessities which was very helpful!

Great location. Less then 10 min walk from beach. Close to good food. Child friendly. Didn’t bring my dog but could have. Overall 10 out of 10 if back in Va would do it again. Thanks for help with creating great memories

Very beautiful house. In a very quiet area. Main Street is close with lots of traffic but the house is quiet. House is very comfortable, and well equipped. We stayed for a week and had everything we needed for cooking, doing our laundry. Lots of restaurants near by, not walking distance but short car ride. Several convenience stores, grocery stores and liquor store near by. my family and I were very comfortable and happy staying here. We will definitely book again if he would have us.

Amazing week vacation for me and my hubbys one year anniversary! Beautiful home and I mean stunning!! Kitchen was my absolute favorite, the place was so clean and so peaceful. Host was extremely helpful , never took more than 30 minutes to respond back, very sweet and very understanding. I will definitely be back , such a peaceful area, SAFE area and so beautiful! Can’t wait to come back! We also stayed with two pets and he was very understanding and helpful with that as well!

This place was perfect for the kids and parents and grandparents. We enjoyed our stay here walking distance to the beach was perfection. It was so peaceful, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the downstairs yard & patio area. We didn’t get to use the bbq grill but next time we stay here we will. Beautiful home. Thank you

The hosts were very responsive and instructions were clear. It was a beautiful home for a weekend getaway and was satisfied with how clean the home was.

Sean was an amazing host who was super kind and flexible with our family needs. We booked last minute and he was super accommodating which we appreciated. The house was exactly what we expected with beautiful finishing, updated, and magazine ready. Sean also had a Christmas tree up which made our Christmas vacation a dream!

We really enjoyed staying at the golden hour! The hosts were very responsive and helpful! They had sound machines in every bedroom which if you have kids is a big deal. The toys and kids activities there were a big hit! The pools are pristine and the whole outdoor area is very nice! Very short walk to beach which was also convenient! They literally thought of everything, if you forgot something chances are they had it! Definitely recommend staying here if you have children and want a nice low key place to stay!

Very convenient location for our trip, walking distance to entertainment and restaurants, will definitely stay there again in the future if the opportunity arises.

My wife, dog and I loved the house. It’s walkable to the boardwalk and is in a great location. The house was perfect for everything we wanted to do and would definitely recommend staying here!

This place was perfect. We wanted a relaxing weekend away and Beach, Please delivered! This place has everything you would ever need and everything you didn't know you needed for a fun and relaxing getaway. We hope to come back in warmer weather to take advantage of all the outdoor amenities!!

If you're a beach goer, this is definitely the place for you to stay. The house is only a 6 minute walk from the beach. The house is very spacious. We had 13 family members staying at the house and there was plenty room for all of us without feeling overcrowded. We had a couple issues with linen, but the host was very responsive and handled the issue quickly. Being able to fish off of the fishing pier/deck in the back was a bonus. The host was gracious enough to allow us to do an early check in because family was coming in from out of town, and also offered a late check out if we needed it.

Comfortable house a short drive/bike ride from the wildlife refuge and beach. Walking distance from coffee shops/restaurants.

Denise and her dog Murphy were incredible host. The air bnb was comfortable and relaxing, Denise really goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. Provides coffee, water, and light breakfast options. Really was a relaxing stay and there was nothing better then waking up and getting into the pool. 100% recommend

Heidi’s place was vey beautiful and homey. It’s definitely worth the price.

We had a wonderful time at The Sand Crab. It is perfect for young kids who are looking to enjoy the beach and water. The outside shower made it so easy for us to wash after the beach. The house is well equipped, and wonderfully decorated. We are grateful for Chris and his family for opening up their home for us to stay and enjoy a family vacation. For sure, we will be back!

Our family Thanksgiving was great! What a beautiful home with a breathtaking view of the water!! Just waking up each day with that beautiful sunrise over the water was wonderful to see. What a hidden gem! Everything you possibly have needed was provided in the home. The fireplace was very nice especially on those cold evenings! We can't wait to return! Responsive and communicative via AirBnb app. Open to small changes we had to make. Beautiful house and wonderful neighborhood. Everything as described and reasonable price. Truly provided the BnB part of AirBnb with linens, cleaning/cooking supplies, and bathroom supplies. Very scenic. The pictures don't do it justice when it comes to the proximity of the dock. It is right outside the window of the master bedroom.

This house was perfect for our group. We had 16 baseball players and coaches stay in the house. Everyone had a bed, plenty of room and the pool table and ping pong table were a big hit. It allowed for team bonding when not on the field. The house was clean and had all that we needed to host a team dinner for all the families down for the weekend! Highly recommend.

The views were absolutely breathtaking — every morning, we woke up to stunning water views that truly made the trip unforgettable. The house itself was perfect — it had every appliance you could possibly need, from high-end kitchen gadgets to convenient extras for a comfortable stay. What really impressed me was how organized and thoughtful everything was. Each space was clearly labeled, making it super easy to find everything we needed, which made the entire experience feel seamless. Whether we were cooking, relaxing, or just enjoying the scenery, the home had everything we could have asked for. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with all the comforts of home!
