Can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay in Rick and John’s lovely home. From the moment we got into town they were so helpful and friendly- walked us through the house and showed us all of the rooms and amenities and introduced us to their sweet pups. The room we stayed in was so clean, cute and comfortable and they were very generous with sharing coffee, breakfast items, wine, drinks and snacks….we appreciated so much how hard they work to make their guests feel welcome. The neighborhood was just lovely, their yard (and many others) were filled with spring flowers and was walking distance from so many great restaurants and parks. So many personal touches…we woke to a sweet note inviting us to enjoy breakfast and another welcoming us to their home, and little Shelby and Scout were just so darn cute. A short drive brought us into the city and another to Mt Vernon…we had a lovely trip overall and hope to stay with them again next time we head to the DC area.

mark was a wonderful host. He was very attentive to my needs as a guest and was also very sociable. His place has so much charm and personality - I could really fee the joy that eminated from it. Room was great and the bed comfortable, and I must say the backyard was kinda magical. 100% i'd stay again

Marnie and Steve’s AirBnB accommodation is clean, private, and secure. They made me feel at home. WiFi was strong, and I was able to work online as naturally as if I’d been in my own home office. They were helpful and friendly, but also respectful of my privacy. The dorm-sized refrigerator and microwave helped me save money on food, the twin bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom with shower was extremely clean and functional. I highly recommend this accommodation, and would stay there again.

Sue is a lovely person and hostess.; she takes great care of her guests. I casually mentioned something I eat for breakfast, not expecting her to have it. She made a special trip to get it for me even though she had lots of other good foods to offer. Her house was very clean and neat. It’s an old house that has been beautifully preserved and cared for. We were only a couple of blocks from the downtown mall, which meant we could easily walk to restaurants and entertainment. We would absolutely stay with her again.

Lisa and Scott were very welcoming and friendly. They provided very helpful suggestions for local hikes and dining. Beautiful location.

This place is great! Walkable, right off the trail, perfect size for a couple to stay a few nights. It may be small but it is equipped with everything you need. We have stayed at a few other places around the area and this one is by far our favorite. There is only 1 semi downfall. This home is situated on a busy street and the bedroom is at the front of the house by the street. (There are NO other places to put the bed, mind you this is a tiny home) It is noisy and if you're a light sleeper, you may not get any sleep. There are earplugs for your convenience if you need them or just bring noise cancelling head phones. Either way, for the price, the location and the well put together space. You can't beat it! We cannot wait to come back and stay ❤️

We loved our stay in the Anderson Room and enjoyed the amazing breakfast/coffee. My husband and I also loved having great conversation with tom. He shared some great insight about Williamsburg and you can see his love for the area. We definately will be back!

Angelica is an excellent host, very clear with communications and quick to respond to questions. The space was perfect, well equipped, clean and comfortable. There’s a lot of love scattered throughout the space with snacks, drinks, pet treats and other little essentials. We will stay here again….

A lovely historic home within walking distance of the town. Wonderful breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back.

Our one-night stay at the Essex was excellent: comfortable room, perfect location, charming property, and scrumptious breakfast. We have already booked again.

Claudette is a lovely host. Her BnB is immaculate. The setting is a rural and peaceful retreat. She made incredibly delicious breakfasts and was super responsive in communicating before and during our stay. The soaking tub en suite was a perfect lure for a bubble bath. We read and rested and explored nature trails in the larger NN area. And we attended a wedding in Champlain. This was perfectly located for that special event. Thanks Claudette for making our weekend even more special.

This was our second stay with Linda and Putter and we expect more in the future! Highlights for us are the incredible breakfasts, the big bathtub, and the exceptional warmth and hospitality of our hosts. They went the extra mile to make our trip special and we really appreciated it. Everything was comfortable and clean and we had a great view of the stars at night from the balcony. As far as location goes, it's about 30 minutes to an hour to most of the popular hiking destinations on Skyline Drive. We also liked Shenandoah River State Park for a change of pace during peak bluebell season. Linda's food really is the best we've had in the area but we enjoyed West Main Market's sandwiches and beer garden after day on the trails.

Kim and Rodger’s hospitality go above and beyond anything I’ve experienced. The location was perfect for star gazing out on the patio, or shopping in near by Floyd. We absolutely adored their dog piglet who we couldn’t love on enough! Communication is never a problem, Kim is happy to help with anything during your stay. We loved this slice of paradise and will be returning soon!

I had a great stay at the Fairhaven for one night while visiting UVA. The room was clean and private, and Raven and Flame were both warm and friendly. I appreciate their flexibility with my check-in time. The house is on the other side of town from the college - something to be aware of for guests visiting UVA. There is a bus you can take to bring you to the center of town. I would definitely recommend the Fairhaven and felt it was great value for what I paid.

What a wonderful beauty spot! Michael and Steve are engaging and welcoming hosts. Their home is so cosy and we had a lot of fun with the animals. Great bed and accommodations!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! We had the absolute best time staying with Mecca and her husband. They were incredibly generous, responsive, and just excellent hosts all around. They truly thought of everything from a welcome tray with individualized greetings and local recommendations to fully stocked amenities. The rooms were very clean with extremely comfortable beds. With plenty of activities around the house, there was always something to do (whether a pontoon boat ride or relaxing in the hammock by the water)! Our last morning, they cooked us a delicious breakfast that was included! Not to mention, it is an absolutely beautiful home with stunning surrounding views of the quiet and peaceful lake. Honestly was the best BnB we've ever been to - can't wait to return!!

VERY friendly owner who will communicate quickly and fully. I'm an introvert and they were very kind about the hours I spent locked in the room. There is a diner at the bottom of the hill that is very "down home" but makes a perfect breakfast any time of day for $6.50. I didn't bring a car and walked to all edges of the town. There any many churches, restaurants, coffee shops, etc all within a 20 minute casual sidewalk walk. The internet in the home is fast. Bathroom was wonderfully clean and the house was very quiet at night. The AC is in the room and you can control it. Backyard and sun room are a nice place to switch up during a work day. Owner made breakfast every morning until I mentioned I needed to explore the town.

This was the second time we stayed at Heritage Hill B&B. We loved it so much we came back and brought friends. It was just as nice the second time. We stayed in the Blue room last year and the Gold room this year. Both are beautifully decorated. We also had use of the living room and the patio with fireplace. Scott had a fire ready after our day of hiking and visiting wineries. The views are breathtaking. Dana makes a gourmet breakfast each morning and they both provide great ideas of things to do and see. We will definitely be back!

Jake is a fantastic host. Parking instructions were clear and parking is so convenient in the Marriott parking garage immediately behind Dinsmore Inn with designated spots for guests. We gave him an arrival time window and he met us at the door and showed the rooms- we stayed in the Library Loft which has a comfy sitting area and full bathroom on one floor and a bedroom and half-bath on the upper floor. The rooms are clean and appropriately furnished- The king size bed was super comfortable and we slept great! Our rooms were cleaned, towels refreshed, and bed made each day which is an unexpected perk. We ran into Jake each day and he made sure that everything was to our liking. He is friendly, available and knowledgeable- a perfect host. We also received vouchers for breakfast each day at the Farm Bell Kitchen on the first floor which was delicious and a fantastic way to start the morning. This gets our highest recommendation and we look forward to another visit there!

Our hosts were very friendly and kind. We slept really well in a very comfortable bed with a beautiful view. The surroundings are very peaceful and tranquil. We stayed at this beautiful home to go to the Harry Potter forbidden forest experience nearby and truly enjoyed that. I recommended to get some recommendations of places to eat from the hosts. Restaurants are close by. Jim and Connie were super nice and we are so grateful that they made our stay so enjoyable. We would absolutely come back and recommend to stay here!

We had a lovely warm welcome from Ann as we arrived. We could park right outside the house and it was easy to find our room. We had a lovely large, bright bedroom. There was a shared lounge, kitchen with coffee making facilities, microwave and fridge and bathroom just down from our room. We had all we needed for a lovely two night stay. With plenty to do and see around Covington we would recommend our stay to friends and family.

I have stayed here many times, this was by far the most beautiful room I’ve stayed in. The hosts are also extremely kind and helpful!
