The Floyd EcoVillage cabin was the perfect fit for me. I needed a peaceful place to decompress, but wanted to be close to town for restaurants, etc. It was cozy, quiet, comfortable, and convenient--exactly what I needed!

The place was excellent and Robin is extremely accommodating. It was the perfect distance from Shenandoah National Park (about 40 mins from Old Rag). I only wish I could have spent more time there during the day with beautiful property and very friendly barn animals. Will certainly be back when I come this way again!

Very peaceful setting. Serene, quiet, and remote like I wanted! Accomodations were warm and ideal for 'glamping'....

It has become a tradition for us to come here to celebrate birthdays-as the site is so special and memorable.

The house was exactly as described. Very clean and equipped with everything we needed. It is a very quiet area and the host stayed in contact to be sure everything went as planned. Will definitely stay here again when I am back in the area.

This place was our best choice even before we realized there would be a freshly-prepared, multi-course gourmet breakfast. House is as advertised, clean, and well-located. Scott and Lisa are friendly, responsive, and fantastic cooks. Enjoy!

My man and I had a wonderful time having a quiet and private weekend getaway. The place is so cozy and the hosts are so welcoming. It’s a beautiful view off the back porch. One of the highlights of my weekend was getting to spend time with Bilbo the cat. He was so snuggly and gave us a warm welcome as soon as we arrived! Would love to come back here again!

The Little Red House was perfect for our weekend getaway. We were looking for something peaceful and relaxing. it was perfect. We loved how quiet it was and there was no light pollution. We enjoyed seeing all of the deer in the field in front of the house. Mona provided everything we needed, and the tiny house was so comfortable. We enjoyed the book collection. Richard Scarry's The Best Story Book Ever brought back childhood memories. As it was cold outside, we didn't take advantage of the outdoor space but it seemed lovely. Instead we cozied up and put together a puzzle, played cards and watched Roku TV. We would love to visit again when it's warmer!

Charming cabin, beautiful neighborhood

I was passing through on a road-trip and stayed at Brad and David’s place after a day of walking around historic Williamsburg. Very peaceful, quiet, and homey atmosphere to unwind and spend the night. If you are in the area and thinking about booking, it’s well worth it. I highly recommend and would stay again myself!

I loved my stay at the treehouse. It was everything I hoped for and more. It was very peaceful, comfortable, and lovely. This location is in a good spot to easily get to many fun destinations like Blue Ridge Parkway, Shenandoah National Park, Grand Caverns, and an adorable town filled with good restaurants and shops, Staunton.

Loved the place, I didn’t really message Philip & Katie because I didn’t have any questions or issues. Everything was perfect. I loved it. I didn’t use the upstairs but it’s plenty of room I thought it was gonna be smaller but I was wrong. I didn’t wanna leave. If I could I would’ve stayed longer. Shower is a little tight but no big deal.

Beautiful getaway home just about 1.5 hours outside of the DC-metro area! The wood-burning hot tub was such a nice and unique amenity that we really enjoyed. It was cleaned when we arrived, and the instructions were very clear on how to get it running. The process was very fun too! The home is beautiful and tidy, well-equipped both in the kitchen and bathroom. Linens and towels provided were very clean and soft. I would highly recommend Oscar's place to anyone looking for a quick, close-to-home getaway.

This place is amazing! The host was really great and made us feel very welcome! We thoroughly appreciated the kindness that he showed us. The view was beautiful and the house itself was very cozy and clean. We loved the minimalist vibe and would 100% come again!

We loved our stay at Marlan’s hobbit home. It was so peaceful to read inside by the fireplace and sit outside listening to the frogs and birds. It was extremely clean and comfortable inside. (The waffle maker was a nice touch!) There are some wonderful wineries and the Luray Caverns a short drive away which made for a fun weekend.

Wonderful place to stay with beautiful access to the river, I am so grateful I was able to spend my weekend here! Ned and Holly were responsive and everything was provided that I needed. Very kid-friendly so I hope to return with my toddler some day :)

Precisely as advertised, peaceful and quiet. Don’t trust your GPS, use the directions they give you.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was darling. We are local so this was just a fun getaway. Donnie had lots of suggestions of places to eat around there. It felt private but lots of wineries nearby. I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

We had a fantastic time! Katie and Jen are extremely helpful and friendly hosts who went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. The property is beautiful. The tiny home is very well appointed with everything you need. The queen bed was comfortable and my teenage son slept well on the chair that converted to a twin bed. Instructions were clear from booking to check out with very responsive host, we never had an unanswered question. We’ll be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this quaint little cabin on Arlington farms. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the sweetest dog named Buddy, accompanied by his smaller friend, Kodak, who happily showed us the way to the cabin. It was such a charming welcome ! Paul, our host, was incredibly kind and friendly. The cabin totaled was cozy and perfect, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. We couldn’t recommend this place more - thank you again for having us !

This home was the perfect getaway for a couple’s retreat! It blends modern style with the peacefulness of nature, tucked right in the middle of the woods. We loved how beautifully designed and cozy everything was secluded enough to feel private, yet with all the comforts and style of a high-end stay. A truly relaxing escape. Highly recommend!

When I walked into Lucy's cabin, I felt as if the entire cabin opened its arms and gathered me in. The cabin has everything you might need, and more. So warm & inviting! Do be careful stepping into the tub/shower, but the water is nice and hot and there are plenty of large, thick towels. The bed(s) are amazingly comfortable, and if the window is open, the creek will lull you to sleep. So many details everywhere I looked: art, interesting decor, games to play, crossword puzzles, marshmallows to toast, hot cocoa to drink, half & half in the fridge, books galore, TVs, fabulous, comfy furniture, wooden signs that elevate your spirits...😊
