We were only able to stay one night in Fernando/Cecilia's home; however, it was wonderful (even in the rain). The historic building is beautiful and incredibly unique. The views over the countryside and vineyards are amazing. Cecilia met us on our arrival and explained everything to us (while also providing information about the area). They were very flexible with check in and check out. My wife and I only wish we would have had more time to spend at Fernando's house in order to explore the surrounding area. If you are considering a visit to the Douro Valley, you can't go wrong staying in this home.

Laurence and Jorge’s home provided a peaceful and beautiful escape in the Douro valley! The surrounding village is small and quaint with lovely views around every corner. The roads are winding, skinny and steep - no different from any other small town or city in Portugal. The home was impeccably clean, the Murphy bed surprisingly comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. A fantastic spot!

A nossa estadia superou todas as expectativas!!! Desde a atenção do host ao detalhe, o conforto, a qualidade e a propia beleza do espaço. Foram uma série de experiências dentro de uma experiência! A piscina interior é um sonho!! O forno á lenha concretizou as nossas delícias, sentimo-nos em casa, com uma temperatura bastante agradável no interior. Os passeios na zona dos limoeiros são bastante agradáveis, com a surpresa dos póneis. Ser 200% petfriendly, sem qualquer tipo de limitação, foi o plus da estadía. Obrigada e até breve! We loved our stay here. The house has three levels the entry level has two bedrooms and baths, the next level two more bedrooms and a bath, and the lower level the kitchen and living area, as well as access to the patio. We were traveling with friends and the various levels of the house allowed us space, while the lower level provided a cozy gathering spot for enjoying our time together. We loved the character of the place and incredible views of the Duoro River. The location also worked well for our explorations of the Duoro Valley. When we were there were some heavy storms, since the lower level is built into the stone there was some weeping of the walls, but it didn’t impact our ability to just enjoy the space. Despite the rain, we loved waking up and going out to the patio to enjoy the views. Fresh oranges from the garden offered us wonderful homemade juice. Definitely a place we would recommend to friends or family.

Het kan dus iedere keer beter bij een Airbnb en dat allemaal door de ruimte, maar vooral de vriendelijkheid en service die Fernando geeft. Gaat veel verder. Met zijn vrouw Isabel de omgeving verkent en niets was te veel. Na een lange reis kwam ik aan met een bomvolle auto en zonder te vragen werd het door Fernando naar binnen gebracht. Ze kwamen naar mijn nieuwe huurwoning op een uur rijden om mij te helpen met sjouwen. Het was voor mij goud waard. De ruimte ligt in een smal steegje met in de nabijheid bakkerij, supermarkts etc.. Parkeren geen probleem. Al met al voor mij de beste keuze geweest om de tijd te overbruggen naar mijn huurwoning. Veel en veel dank Fernando en Isabel!!!!

Bel appartement dans un village authentique, habité par des gens très sympathiques. La vue est inoubliable, à voir !

We had an amazing stay. The host was spot on and got us good directions to the home. Renting a car is a must, but the directions are clear and the path is beautiful. One of the most peaceful nights of sleep we’ve had maybe ever. The vine terraces and valley surrounding this home in every direction are breathtaking. I recommend letting the birds and the nearby church bell tower wake you up in the morning. We were welcomed with local cookies and port to enjoy on the balcony as we soaked in the view. It is remote, but worth the trek. I am sure there is a lot going on in the area in the later spring and summer, but it was a little cooler here in late March early April. We took the car in to Regua to go to the market and the drive is fun and gorgeous. Would love to stay here again.

Casa localizada em local calmo ideal para umas férias em grupo ou em família. Todos os quartos são suites, o que é um ponto positivo pela privacidade a nível de casa de banho. As camas são super confortáveis. A cozinha está muito bem equipada e tem tudo o que precisa a nível de eletrodomésticos (torradeira, máquina de café (delta), microondas, máquina de lavar a louça) bem como de louça para um grupo de 10 pessoas. Toda a decoração é muito bonita e pensada. O espaço exterior é amplo e bem arranjado, o espaço destinado à churrasqueira é impecável. É sem dúvida um local a visitar de novo!

Adri and Petra are wonderful hosts. They greeted us personally, provided great information and were very generous and kind. We wish we could have stayed longer, as their place is beautiful. We were surrounded by nature, right in the middle of stunning mountains and hills. It was tranquil and peaceful and great for taking long dog walks or hikes. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Amazing views. really enjoyed the premises. Marcos was very responsive and helped with booking the car even. as we did not drive ourselves it was a little difficult to find a ride. The place and the surroundings are amazing. it was great for our stay for 2 days but anything more than that I would recommend a rental car. Also I learnt that Duoro valley is huge and this place isn't in the heart but at the start of the valley.

A casa tens condiçoes excelentes, conforto higiene e um bom gosto extraordinario. A anfitrião, a D. Adelaide foi de um cuidado extremo, com muita atenção aos detalhes para que eu e a minha familia pudessemos passar um Natal feliz confortavél, e sereno. É sem duvida um lugar a repetir e de verão será ainda mais agradavel. Recomendo vivamente.

O Sr Abrão foi sempre super prestável, introduziu nos a casa e facilitou nos a hora do check in. O espaço era perfeito , ainda melhor do que nas fotos. As areas da casa são grandes e espaçosas, tem todas as coisas necessárias (cozinha bem equipada,secador cabelo,maquina da louça e da roupa…) e ainda nos deixaram uma caixa de café como cortesia Há churrasqueira (interior), bilhar, mesa de ping pong, matrecos e a piscina aquecida é a cereja no topo do bolo. Quero ainda resaltar a limpeza do espaço que era impecável. Camas e almofadas confortáveis. Seguro para crianças e animais. A único ponto negativo era só o sinal de rede que era fraco e não permitia muito o uso de redes sociais mas isso em nada afetou a nossa experiência na propriedade da Andreia e do Sr Abrão. Iremos recomendar a amigos e familiares e esperamos voltar em breve!

My stay in this tiny house was exceptional! The place is very calm and pleasant, with a stunning view that truly invites relaxation. Everything you need is available: an equipped kitchen, a functional bathroom, a comfortable bed... and free parking on site. The host is attentive, always ready to answer any question, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Kisses to Luna, their adorable dog! I highly recommend this Airbnb!

La maison est grande, confortable, bien équipée, a un beau jardin et une petite piscine mais la montagne autour est aussi très belle et bien habité car bien entretenue. Notre hôte nous a donnée toutes les informations utiles avec photos et coordonnées GPS. Nous n'avons pas tout visité malheureusement. Nous y reviendrons sans doute pour la beauté des lieux et des âmes.

We had an amazing stay here. We found the peace and quiet we were looking for in a beautiful environment. Lucas, and his mother who speaks french, waited for us in town to escort us to the house. We felt very welcome before we even arrived. Even though we arrived late, we were given a big tour of the house, terrain and animals, which the kids loved. The house fits the description and did not disappoint, the outside is beautiful.

Lugar incrível, perfeito para um tempo de descanso em meio a natureza. Luisa é muito simpática e pronta para ajudar no que for preciso. A acomodação é muito bonita e aconchegante, e a estrutura da Quinta é ótima para ir com crianças.

Adoramos a casa, o espaço e a envolvência. A Natalie e o Mike foram sempre muito disponíveis e cuidadosos, no check deixaram-nos uns biscoitos e um brinquedo para a nossa cadelita e compotas, vinho, pães e doce para nós. Quando souberam que eu era vegetariana ainda nos presentearam com uns pimentos da horta. Fora dias bem passados, o silêncio e quietude do lugar são muito reconfortantes e a proximidade da Ecopista do Dão e do Rio permitem passeios muito agradáveis. Recomendo!

Foi tudo 5*, desde a marcação na qual tiraram todas as dúvidas existentes, até ao check out. O pequeno almoço era muito bem recheado e valeu bem o valor. A simpatia e prestabilidade foram pontos a favor. A casa estava muito bem arranjada e limpa. Surpreendeu nos pela positiva tudo nesta estadia. Foram poucos os dias mas valeram a pena . Foi uma estadia de pouca duração, mas gostei imenso da aldeia onde esta o alujamento do sr. Pedro. Foi muito amavel e sempre disponivel e prestavel para algo que fosse necessario. Uma experiência a ser repatida sem duvida. Casa recuperada muito agradável e acolhedora, com uma vista deslumbrante.

Alojamiento para disfrutarlo a tope, cada rincón muy cuidado y con muchos detalles agradables. Situado a las afueras de Amarante, en una zona muy tranquila. Zona de barbacoa y piscina inmejorables, ideal para pasar unos días en familia. La casa no es muy grande, pero está bien aprovechada y no le falta de nada. Por otro lado, la atención de Paulo es digna de elogio, preocupándose en cada momento de nuestro bienestar, y contando con la ayuda de unos maravillosos vecinos que nos hicieron la estancia muy amena y agradable. Sin duda la calidad/precio es más que recomendable, repetiriamos con los ojos cerrados ahora que conocemos a Paulo y su entorno. Y otra cosa, vaya descubrimiento el Vino Verde de la zona, ¡qué rico! 🤤😃 Muchas gracias por todo, volveremos.

Estadia simplesmente incrível. O local super sossegado, bom para fugir a correria da cidade. A casa extremamente limpa e corresponde 100% como as fotos. A cozinha é super completa. O Sr. Rui foi um anfitrião impecável. Sinceramente nunca fiquei num sitio tão bom e completo. Vamos sem dúvida repetir no verão.
