Words could never express just how magical Ronelle and Claude’s farm is. They are so incredibly gracious and I feel as though they are extended family. The farm is amazing and I loved the accommodations. This was an extraordinary experience thanks to Ronelle and Claude. By the way Ronelle’s kitchen is the best restaurant on the island. I worked in the hospitality industry for years. This exceeded my expectations and I am forever grateful. I will miss them!!

An amazing location, on the coral coast of Fiji. Quiet and remote, a few meters from the beach. Good for walking around the coast, and exploring the south side of Vitu Levu. I can only recommend this place, if you are looking for a place to stay on the coral coast. Great local hosts, very friendly and helpful. Thank you for hosting us. Ronelle and Claud were the last people I stayed with before flying home and I am so grateful for this. They were such an lovely, refreshing energy to be around. They picked me up and took me around the island then we got lunch at the Marina. Their property is a private and rustic farm stay surrounded by beautiful Fijian flora. Ronelle taught me how to ride a dirt bike, and took me out to their private beach. We would also sit together for hours and talk about anything and everything. I feel very connected, and came home feeling so inspired because of these two. I definitely have made some life long friends with Ronelle and Claud.

We stayed at Knox's place for 2 nights and had a fantastic time. We got a great insight into Fijian life, with plenty of stories and great food. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the hammocks under the banyan tree, and did some snorkeling. The beach was the best we experienced on the Yasawa's. The Octopus resort is about a 10mins walk along the beach if you want a drink or to hire their stuff. The accommodation is very rustic but comfortable, a great place to experience Fiji time.

We were welcomed at the top of the dirt track with a welcome dance from Kiki, one of several children present at the farm, who was also a most excellent tour guide and companion. Guests can expect an open plan, and open to any merciful breeze (we visited at the height of the wet season and it’s hot hot hot and sticky) living area and kitchen at the heart of the stay. Meals were buffet style along with conversations about topics from coral preservation to family stories, local news and happenings, food, music, singing, thankful vibes and more in between. The farm itself is a rare example of permaculture that we found on Fiji, bringing together land, plant, animal and water management into a fascinating weave of increasing harmony, diversity, and resilience back to an area that used to naturally flourish in similar ways but has in more recent years given way to mono-crop export market farming with health consequences and rising diabetes from shift to processed and packaged sustenance.
