Viti Levu : chambres d'hôtel

As described, budget room with clean double bed and fridge. there's no A/C but a fan, which keeps you cool in the humidity. It's not too hot a night, so A/C not needed. Though the humidity does make things feel a bit damp. Shared toilet block gets cleaned daily, basic but functional. Beautiful rainforest setting with a restaurant in the complex. It's the only place to eat in the area though, and options are limited. I'm vegetarian and there's only one veggie option on the menu, which they didn't have. The chef made me vegetable stir-fry both nights. There's also a little kitchen with kettle/microwave/toaster for use. There's only one activity in the area, the Colo-I-Suva forest walk ($5 cash a head) so I wouldn't stay more than 1-2 nights. Easy to get there $12-15 taxi from Suva or public bus $2.80.

I had a great stay! The staff was super friendly and the food in the restaurant delicious. But there also many other restaurants you can go to that are nice! The music was loud, yes, but stopped at 10pm (I stayed mon-fri). The room is basic and is a little bit more run down than shown in the picture. But I didn't mind.

nice place. we booked 3x rooms. only issue was their linen management, when we checked in, hsk were waiting for pillow cases, at 7pm there was no bath towel and hsk were waiting for another delivery. colonial hotel but facilities were fine. hotel is right on the beach and you can hear the ocean waves. bar staff were really nice. reception staff were rude, bossy, not listening and struggling to find our booking in their booking system and email. I suggest you message them to confirm your airbnb booking and also telephone them at least a week before. cocktails were nice, food was good but fries were soggy (all 6 meals had same soggy chips ordered at different times). overall enjoyed our stay. i was right on top in room 15. recommend this place to other travellers.

Very very lovely stay, highly recommend sailors. Very friendly and helpful staff and felt very much at home with the warm welcoming every time we went back to the restaurant, lovely breakfast and dinner options and very delicious, will come back

Hannah’s place was amazing for us. It’s clean, it’s cozy, nice mattress and pillows, aircon and free washing machine! It also has a cute pool with chairs outside where you can relax and read a book. Coffee shop (with nice barista coffee) and dinner nearby. Also a quick walk to the pier. Loved it. Kitchen is big and comfortable but only has the resources for one person cooking at the time (only one electric stove)

Booked family room which is right on the top. nice spacious room with amazing views, right on the beach. we had a wonderful stay. highly recommend this room to others even if you are a solo traveller, give yourself a treat. vinaka.

We had a great time staying here and would definitely come back! Everyone made us feel very welcome and it almost felt like home. The food was amazing as well and gave us a taste of the Fijian cuisine. Everyone was always eager to help us in any way they can and the communication was always super friendly. Our bungalow was overlooking the sea and we always ate right next to the beach. It was even possible to use kayaks and snorkel gear for free. Overall it was an amazing stay! A big thanks to everyone :)

We were on a family holiday, myself and 4 adult children and their partners and children. It was perfect for us, as we could all be together yet have out own space. To have the place to ourselves was wonderful, we could go where we liked without having to worry about other guests. The food was lovely, and plentiful, and it was so good to be able to sit together around a table and enjoy our meals together. Our bures were very spacious and comfortable, with gorgeous views. There was also lots to do……horse riding along the beach, kayaking, reef walking, swimming……or just relaxing with a cocktail. Apart from all of that, what made it so memorable was the staff. Such beautiful people, always happy and helpful, and they certainly made an impression on my 4 year old granddaughter. We are already talking about the possibility of returning next year, we all enjoyed it so much.
