I can not say enough about our stay here! The home was beautiful, clean and in a nice safe neighborhood with many restaurants in walking distance. We did surf lessons with Dahlia surf which is next door to the house and directly across the street from the beach. The house is loaded with all of the amenities and so much more. Plenty of beach supplies. -all the toys, towels umbrellas etc. communication was great and would love to come back for another stay! The day we checked out we paid $31 to park our car on the beach- there is 23 miles of drivable beach and you are able to leave and comeback if needed. We took advantage of the beautiful day and parked more towards the boardwalk and set up right next to our car. Totally magically stay! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beach vacation

Wow! The view, the large patio with Adirondack chairs, and the beach access right out your back door! We gathered with adults and a two-year old, and it was perfect. Quirks include the single bathroom accessible only thru the bedrooms. Plus the Caribbean shower (e.g. outdoor) which was fine with us. Everything was exceptionally clean and fresh, and well-provided. It’s like having your own private oceanfront cottage. Awesome!

The house was everything I had expected. I have had some bad experiences in the past. So a little concerned, but Charles place lived up to all and more. I would rent it again.

This is a lovely cottage with everything you could want for a visit to Mt. Dora. It is close to town, has a lovely outdoor space and the interior is beautifully decorated with wit and style. We hope to return!

A charming little house with thoughtfully curated Florida decor, offering a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It's conveniently located near the shops and restaurants on Canal Street, with easy access to New Smyrna Beach just a few minutes away. The hosts were incredibly responsive, always available to answer any questions within minutes. While the space felt a bit smaller than it appeared in the photos, it was still comfortable—though it may not be the best fit for very tall guests. There was an issue with the dryer, but the hosts quickly worked with us to find a mutually agreeable solution. One small addition that would enhance the stay is providing beach chairs or accessories for guests to enjoy the nearby shore. Overall, a lovely stay with great hospitality!

Loata is an incredibly friendly and accommodating host. Her place is a calm, quiet refuge near nature. We recommend it.

We stayed for the entire month of January and really enjoyed it! House is adorable and location is amazing - only a short walk to the beach and to Flagler Ave and the neighborhood is very walkable as well. House was fully stocked with everything needed, fenced yard was big with lots of seating, and outside shed even had beach chairs and bikes. Tina was very responsive and friendly. Would stay again!

The house was very well decorated, plenty of room and well furnished with coffee, paper products and linens. We would definitely stay there again.

Host (Jake) is a super host, he is easy to communicate with, and he always responds timely to any issues that may arise, no matter how minor they may be, he really tries to make your stay a great experience. I can truly say that we have made a good friend during our stay, and we can’t wait to return, we’ll miss you and your Mom too. Jakes’ place is nice, clean with plenty to do, Cornhole, Hook 21, your own Tiki Bar with a refrigerator, a Fire pit, screened in Back Porch and a beautiful, heated pool with a nice patio to sunbathe on. The location is unbelievable, close to I95 (3 miles), close to Edgewater and New Smyrna Beach where you have a multitude of all kinds of shopping and restaurants from fast food to fancy, all within minutes of this Silver Palm Bungalow. There is a Walmart Super store that is only 8 Miles away at route 44 and I95. The neighbors, JR and Janet, Ernie and Tara were two couples we met on our stay, they were very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great trip.

It was the best 3 day vacation we had. Me and my best friend went to celebrate our anniversary of being friends for 10 years. The house was beautiful, everything was so neat and in place. We loved staying there and Meg had great communication with us!! Will definitely be booking with Meg again!!

Great place close to downtown, in walking distance. Quiet neighborhood. Clean and updated on the inside.
