It was a wonderful weekend away. The location is definitely tops once you have seen what the town looks like! Lamberts Bay Municipality has a lot to learn from Vredendal and Van Rynsdorp. The police station is an absolute embarrassment.....

The view was much better than what we expected, and what the photo's suggested, the place itself is done an injustice with the photo's on the site, it's a lot bigger and the kitchen was a pleasant suprise. If you're like us and prefer to cook yourself then this is a perfect place. It sleeps more people than whats indicated from what we saw the couches can become comfortable beds, especially if you have kids. Pick-up and dropoff was made extremely convenient with a pick-up point instead of personal handover. Overall our stay was a pleasure.

Our stay was absolutely perfect from beginning to end, the view and sounds of the ocean were so calming and beautiful. The space was clean, well laid out, the neighbours friendly and the instructions from Minette were easy and comforting. Would definitely recommend this spot to others and likely to visit again.

was only a brief stopover since we were on a long trip but was perfect for our needs and we'd like to come back with some more time. Salome is a great host and the cottage was perfectly equiped and comfortable.

Very spacious accommodations and convenient location to anything in Clanwilliam. About 20-30 min to the bouldering/Cederberg area. Host/manager were easy to get in contact with and helpful with any issues. The front bedroom is noisy, with street noise and dogs barking, but the back bedroom is quieter. Unit 8 did not have a desk upstairs as pictured on AirBnB; only working area is the dining room. Loadshedding (scheduled blackouts) is a thing to be aware of in South Africa-- you may be without electricity 2 to 8 hours a day. The house wifi does have battery backup, which was great, and the stove is propane, so you can still cook during loadshedding. There is daily housekeeping provided (and required). Host provides 20kw hours of electricity a day; if you go over, you have to buy your own electricity. We didn't have any trouble staying under the 20 unit allotment. It is cold in the house during the winter, so prepare to bundle up inside! They provide electric blankets which were great.

It was very nice at Minette's. A special highlight were the peacocks that ran around the house. You can get to the sea very quickly and go to the beach.

6 of us stayed here for almost 6 weeks. Location for climbing in rocklands was great. Eugene was very communicative and helpful! Internet was a little slow, might be challenging to work remotely here, but other than that it was great!

Theunette is a lovely host, very responsive and helpful. She welcomed us with a bottle of wine from her vineyard, that we happend to be visiting later on a wine tour. The house itself is very nicely decorated, a bit old but that's just gives extra charm to it, and the views are just spectacular.
