We needed a place for our family to gather for our son's wedding and this worked great. The living room area was easily the best and most used place, very large. Bedrooms were all good size and comfortable. Bathrooms were nice! The layout is very unique, but nothing bad. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience and enjoyed walking our less than one grandson around the nearby park.

Wow….what a beautiful place. Everyone commented how nice and ‘hygge’ everything felt. We were 3 adults with 4 teens and the place was just perfect. Definitely a perfect 10. We’re already planning a return visit.

This is my favorite places I’ve stayed for a vacation. It was beautiful and peaceful. You can tell the host cares about the house feeling like a home. It everything you needed with clear labels and directions. Everything from the bathrooms, to the appliances, to the bedding was high quality. I felt like I was staying at a luxurious resort, but instead I had an entire private house! The hot tub was very easy to use and private. I would love to stay here again!

We enjoyed our five nights at Pepin Marina Retreat. The marina is directly across the street; it was enjoyable to sit on the porch that had a swing and two rocking chairs. The views of the lake and bluffs were aesthetically pleasing. Walkable to restaurants and libations. The Loft apartment was tastefully decorated, with a well-appointed kitchen. The bed was very comfortable for us. We will return to Marya’s Pepin Marina Retreat, and we hope you will love your time there as much as we did.

We loved the layout of the house and the view of Lake Pepin at sunset. We had just the right amount of rooms and space for my son’s families and myself. The fireplaces were an added benefit which we truly enjoyed. Although we came down with the flu we all enjoyed the time spent there together. Thank you Sandy and Eric for sharing your house with us. It is a very special place.

Kathy and Dave were very hospitable and friendly. We met personally with them and "hit it off" right away. They wanted to make sure that everything was going well for us or if they could do anything more. We'll be back again!! p.s. The trains didn't bother us at all. I lived near a railroad track while growing up so it brought back fond memories!

We enjoyed our stay at Howards place. Located on a quiet street, with the river/lake right outside the backdoor. There was a road than ran between the water and the house, but it was quiet and did not cause distraction from the views. We did not realize the house was actually a duplex, but we could not hear anything from next door. In fact, we did not realize that there were neighbors until we saw them. It felt like you were in a stand alone house. There was a nice sitting area outside and a walkway to get you to the river. We personally had a few issues with the TV, but Howard was quick to rectify the situation, and the problem was solved immediately, leaving gift cards for our inconveniences. The house was clean, organized and every detail for a few day stay was thought of.....all we needed was to bring our own food as the kitchen was stocked with all modern appliances. Overall, we hope to make this our "vacation-get away" spot every fall! (Thank you for a lovely stay!)
