Sarah's place was a peaceful retreat in a beautiful neighborhood setting. It featured a spacious loft with everything I needed including a comfortable bed, cozy sitting area, large desk, and a terrific shower. Very walkable to Mount Eden and the village nearby with a variety of restaurants and shops. Sarah was easy to contact and always responsive to questions. I highly recommend Sarah's place as an excellent choice in lodging if you are visiting Auckland.

The Cottage is a wonderful place to stay, so comfortable & quiet for an inner city stay. The bed was so very comfy! The Cottage had everything we could ask for and we were able to walk to Eden Park, & out for great meals. We'd definitely try to stay here again. Thanks for being such lovely hosts!

Wunderschön, hell und gemütlich. Der Grill reicht zum selbst versorgen, schöner Aussensitzplatz mit Aussicht. Julie und Ihr Mann sind äußerst nett und freundlich (wie eigentlich alle Neuseeländer). Nahe an Coromandel und einer sehr empfehlenswerten Fischbude mit Austern, Muscheln und natürlich fish and Chips. Sehr gut in Coromandel sind die Dumplings bei Mei. Die Chilisauce ist göttlich. Wir haben den Aufenthalt bei Julie sehr genossen.

With beautiful views across to the Firth of Thames, this was a great place to spend time at the seabird coast and catch the right tides. The house was comfortable and very well fitted out. Big oven and all we needed. Excellent cafe just up the hill with gallery. Barry and Liz were very kind and helpful, and changed the booking when we needed to.

Gary Lynn in Auckland is a fantastic location for a couple looking for a slower pace area. It was easy to get downtown, but we also spent the beginnings of our trip here to get acclimated to the time change and just comfortable driving on the opposite side of the road. Everything was walkable, and the Airbnb gave us everything we needed to get started. Very clean and peaceful.

Amazing location, just a few mins walk from Oneroa village, close to bus stops. Love that it's pet friendly. The cottage is basic, but clean and has everything you need.

We loved our two weeks here - it’s a well laid out 2 double bedroom / bathroom apartment with a well stocked kitchen a nice lounge area and access to a little sunny garden. It’s a quiet, central location with free road parking and easy access to local shops. Joanne has really thought about what makes a cosy home from home environment and provided lots of little extras. We can highly recommend this property and would happily stay here again.

Was a great place to stay on Waiheke, very close to everything there

Sandy is a super friendly and helpful host and responds quickly to any questions. We enjoyed our stay and found it had everything we needed. The outside area is private and quiet and is a bonus to be pet friendly. Gorgeous decore and attention to detail. Loved the comfy bed and shower.

Diana is a wonderful friendly host who responds to all requests promptly and makes sure one is happy. There are lovely thoughtful items provided such as breakfast for the next day and tea, coffee etc. This is so welcome after travelling far and not wanting to go and shop. Really a lovely place to stay.

I had a great stay in Kathryn’s place! I was there for an extended time (3 weeks) to catch up on some work before heading home to the UK. It is connected to the main house, with private access so you feel safe. Walls are thin but I personally enjoyed the sounds of the family, they’re very happy & it made me feel like I was back home in my family home. The apartment was totally self sufficient, amazing shower, super comfy bed. Two TVs & some bits for some light cooking. I also enjoyed the sun blinds that kept the light and sun in, but you couldn’t see in from the outside. Kathryn was really friendly and kept me up to date via whatsap with anything needed. The area itself is just beautiful, Howick town centre is the cutest and the eastern beach/beaches in general are gorgeous. Plenty to do by foot. (Around 20 min walk) I’d recommend this place for sure. Thanks Kathryn! D x

Devonport is a lovely seaside village surrounded by good walks, a great beach, excellent shops and a regular ferry service to the city. After a long trip I wanted to have a little space, quiet and me time before travelling around NZ. This place was just what I needed. The wee house is nestled in a sunny, green garden with the sound of birds tweeting away. It has a separate entrance and is very private. The place was spotless, had a good kitchen and an excellent shower. There’s plenty of storage space and a comfortable bed. Anne is a super friendly host and made me feel at home. Would I recommend this place to stay. Emphatically. Yes!

We (family of four) enjoyed our stay at this lovely clean apartment. It is located in a quiet residential area and we found it a great base to explore Howick and surrounding areas. Auckland CBD was an easy ferry ride away. We would happily recommend Kate's place.

Great place to stay in Auckland, close to buses and trains and doesn’t take long to get to places. Clean house looks exactly like the pictures, would stay again.

This is the perfect place for exploring Auckland and it's islands. Just a ferry ride to anywhere around. You can hire an ebike in town and bike Devonport area, or Auckland or Waiheke Island. Lots of nice bike paths. Get an AT Hop card and you're good to go. Candice's place is clean and comfy and quiet. She was so nice to let me check out after my long day of biking. Was fantastic to shower and collect myself for my next adventure!! Highly recommend!!

Gemma and Matt were the perfect hosts, very helpful and extremely easy to chat to. Definitely recommend this property as it’s very close to the eastern beaches and restaurants and shops of Howick.

Helen and Jack are wonderful hosts having thought through every detail of a stay with them. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and tidy and well appointed with resources for my stay. The breakfast selection went over and above and the generous touches did not stop there.....the home baked fruit cake was delicious. A soak in the spa was a welcomed way to finish each day of my visit. Whole heartedly recommend a stay here.

This seaside sanctuary delivered as promised and then some. It was so perfect for my stay. Quiet, peaceful, and what a beautiful view! I felt as comfortable as I do in my own home and hosts were so kind and accommodating. They showed such wonderful hospitality with some wonderful local groceries upon my arrival. The location was ideal for me and the accommodations were so clean and comfortable. Thank you for such a wonderful place for this weary traveler to rest, revive, and explore so much of what this area has to offer.
