What an amazing place! Perfect for our family with lots of space and things for the kids to do. It was like being home away from home. Super clean and tidy with everything easy to find. Great location - quick nip round the corner to the beach. Stacey was a fantastic host. Always friendly and responded quickly. She was extremely helpful to ensure our stay went well and that we had everything we needed. Thank you so much!!

We are so happy with our stay! ☺️ Such a beautiful and wonderful space and atmosphere. Very spacious and we had an awesome time and made lots of great memories there! The sleep out is right next to the main road so could get a little noisy but other than that we had an excellent stay! We especially enjoyed the beautiful lounge area with the big windows - stunning views! We look forward to coming back someday for sure.

Nice little spot with quite a few beds for the space. Having a bus stop just down the road made it easy for us to get into town without a car.

Had a lovely quick overnight stay for a local family event. Fit hubby and I with our three kids. Toys, kids books and Netflix were a bonus to entertain the children. Everything was on hand that was needed for a comfortable stay. Clear and friendly communication beforehand and during stay. Thank you for having us!

We stayed at Lucy‘s place as a group of five (3 adults, 2 kids (4 and 6 years)). We immediately felt at home in this gorgeous place. Lucy‘s family home is very clean, spacious and beautifully furnished. It offers a lot of toys and play areas in the garden for the kids. We knew there would be a spa but were surprised to find a pool, too - a big win with our kids. We also enjoyed collecting veggies and herbs from the orchard. There‘s a playground within walking distance as well as the beautiful beach, which is a lot less crowded than in central Mount Maunganui. We absolutely recommend this house to anyone - especially if you have kids.

It was a beautiful home, close to the beach and super accessible for everything you need in The Mount. Loved that it was dog friendly, would happily stay again one day 😊

Alec and Anna were exceptionally gracious hosts and provided much insight to the area and things to do. They treated me like family. My experience was amazing in every way.

Their house is incredibly cozy and truly feels like home. John, in particular, is always so accommodating, warmly welcoming us every time we return after a long drive. 😊 We absolutely love both the location and the house itself—it’s peaceful, serene, and incredibly relaxing. We’re already looking forward to staying there again on our next trip up north. 😁❤️

Outstanding! We love G&G’s apartment. Inside, it has two spacious bedrooms, bathroom with separate toilet, hallway and cosy kitchenette/dining/sitting room. All is very clean and comfortable, with tasteful coastal decor. Outside is a large, private sitting and garden area which is a really lovely place to relax. Gay and Garry are very friendly hosts, very responsive and providing great recommendations. And there are lots of thoughtful extras (beach gear, extra toiletries, clothes rack, tin foil, games, toys and more). The neighbourhood is very pleasant, with cafe and takeaways around the corner, local supermarket and restaurants close by, and easy drive to main beaches. We found it a great place for our visit to Tauranga/Mount Maunganui, and would recommend it very highly to couples or families.

Julia and her husband are amazing hosts. The directions to their home were spot on. The kitchen was stocked so well one could stay there a week and never have to shopping. They really exceeded any expectation anyone would have of a host. They recommended we go to another town for something called the Beach Hop - what an amazing experience. Thanks to Julia, it was an amazing day. They provided a shovel for use at the Hot Water Beach. All in all this was simply one great place to stay. We were there for three nights but felt so comfortable, if time had permitted, we would have stayed longer. One suggestion though is that if you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you. Although you are perched on a hillside, downtown is a short stroll downhill

I really enjoyed my stay at River Garden Apartment. Jan was very easy to communicate with, even bought me an umbrella as it was absolutely bucketing down when I arrived. The apartment is very well furnished and clean and tidy. Great Wifi Great Bed Great shower Thank you Jan, see you next trip

What beautiful accomodation, the location is to die for and the host is very friendly and responsive. The beds were comfortable and clean, the house was spacious and light. Would recommend to absolutely anyone, for the price paid it’s on par with some of the best accomodation around! 😎

Underground car park was a real bonus over the very busy weekend. Elevator made for easy in and out to the car park. Ideal central location for beach, shopping, restaurants and walks. Well finished kitchen. Lots of utensils and kitchen items. Comfortable beds and linens along with beach towels. Would come again for sure. Great accommodations that made a great holiday location even better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. It was spacious indoors. Sitting outside with a cold drink taking in the view and watching tuis, quail and fantails was great. We made use of the barbecue and washing machine. Kitchen area was compact. Alan the host was welcoming and gave us good tips on things to do.

We had a very nice time in a very vibrant part of town a little noisy but fun, it is an apartment so not all rooms have windows and our host was fun and very friendly

Excellent location. Close to everything. Clean and tidy, well lived in, apartment. Very small 2nd bedroom (office size) straight off the lounge. Perfect for us though, we enjoyed our stay. Brooke was a great- excellent comms.

Geoff & Bee's place was absolutely perfect for my husband and I. The location is practically at the foot of the mount and the building has access on two sides allowing us to go one direction for our hike around or up the mount and the other direction to go directly across to the beach. Also it is about a 5 minute walk into town with lots of great restaurants and shops to visit. Geoff & Bee's Airbnb was exactly how it was described, very neat and clean with everything we needed to stay for several weeks. The unit also has a washer and dryer which was a big plus since we exercised and went to the beach pretty much every day. Also the bed was super comfy which made for a goodnight sleep each night. The building is well run and was very quiet. We got to meet Geoff & Bee for coffee and they are an absolutely lovely couple and terrific hosts! We were at the Mount for a family holiday. We were all staying in seperate accommodation and coming from different destinations. My BNB was perfect in every way . Spotlessly clean, fantastic location, safe and friendly staff throughout the complex. Jenny was wonderful in all her communication and I was able to have an early checkin, which took the stress out of arriving. Thoroughly recommend this BNB .

Great location, close to cafes, restaurants and bars. One can leave the car at apartment and walk. Lovely view over water. We were told about the expressway not far away which really wasn't too noisy for us but could be if you want complete silence. Immediate neighbours all very quiet.
