Traveling as two couples the layout worked very well. Lots of space to relax. Large functional kitchen. Very nice and private outdoor space in back. Quiet neighborhood but close to town. Served us well as a base to explore the Southern Alps area.

Warren has maintained the history and feel of a NZ batch at Lake Clearwater. Made some modern touches for convenience, but overall, it stayed true to an off the grid holiday. Awesome place to stay!!!

Absolutely lovely! This is easily one of our top stays in our road trip in NZ! Eunice is so helpful, friendly and responsive! The home is so comfortable and cosy. Our only regret is our short stay. Next time, we will certainly stay more than a night. Thank you Eunice!

One of our favorite stays - quiet, peaceful, surrounded by nature in a comfortable, well appointed home. Visiting with sweet Flow (the dog) was a highlight. Thanks for your hospitality, and the plethora of tea and coffee options. The fresh milk was delicious.

Takoha is a welcoming host, and an interesting conversationalist. Simon was away, so we didn't meet him. Takoha made us welcome and comfortable. Their home is in a quiet location (at the far end of the road), and the house is surrounded by lush gardens. The bed was comfortable, good curtains (I didn't need to use an eye mask). On the bedroom level there's a 2-seat couch on a shared landing for guests to use. On the main level there's a living room, kitchen, and dining room for guests to use, shared with the hosts. It is an easy walk to Franz Joseph town centre. We're glad we stayed here and would happily book here again. It was our first experience sharing common space with our host, and it was a positive experience. Thank You Takoha

Eunice's place is very comfortable and beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. We left the stuff in their property, they helped to post to our next stay in Queenstown. They are very friendly and warm hearted. We genuinely appreciate their help. Highly recommend to any guest.
