Close to redwoods and felt just like home away from home! Cats were super friendly too (even the big striped one who wasn’t supposed to be there 🤭) Julie was very responsive to messages and nothing was a problem! We loved our stay here. Perfect for families and has a nice homely feel. My son loved the selection of toys and books inside and the trampoline outside! Big, spacious and had everything we needed while we were away. Wish we stayed longer. Thanks for having us.

Nicola went above and beyond for me and my friends for my 40th birthday. The house has so much character and so much to do. The tennis court and swimming pool were an added bonus on top of everything else. The house had everything we needed. Great place for everyone to enjoy.

We absolutely loved the house, and our stay couldn’t have been better. It’s a spacious home with everything you could wish for. After a long day, it was a real treat to relax in the hot spa, and the boys especially enjoyed the sauna. John’s communication and the information he provided about the house and Taupo were wonderful. We would highly recommend booking this house for a fantastic experience, just as we had.

A taste of Tuscany in Newstead is all we can say!! Great indoor outdoor flow with all the amenities to keep people active and engaged. The tennis court provided entertainment and controversy while the spa and pool provided relaxation and ambiance. The complementary bubbles received on arrival was well needed after a long trip with a talkative passenger. Great entertainment facilities and loved the touch of country surroundings, would stay again.

This is an awesome home. Well furnished and the kitchen has every item you need to cook up a feast. Very spacious and the swim in the river was great. We will be back one day.

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew and Jane’s place! The house is lovely, with a beautiful green setting and a fantastic garden where we enjoyed relaxing. The bed and couch were both large and very comfortable, making our stay extra enjoyable. Andrew and Jane were friendly and communicative hosts. The location was peaceful, and we loved listening to the birds in the garden. Overall, a great place to stay!

Garys place is in a beautiful location and has wonderful views of the lake, the jetty and lake access was a real bonus. The bedroom and bathrooms set up were perfect and decorated really nicely, good wifi if you want it too and walkable to the main jetty area and town. thank you also for allowing us to bring our little dogs, it made for a wonderful holiday.

Shelley's place was awesome. My wife and I had a really comfortable stay and felt right at home. The amenities were perfect as you need for a wonderful vacation especially the hot tub and beautiful garden alongside. Shelley's local recommendations were also great and we enjoyed them. The place was clean and spotless. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Rotorua and need relaxing stay which is close to all activities !!!!!

Stine and Renato were such great hosts always available to help us with whatever we needed. The place was in a great location very close to downtown and it was in excellent condition. Perfect size for me and my husband and even loved the decoration specially Stine’s wonderful handmade ceramics which I got the pleasure to get a couple. Thank you for everything!

We loved our stay at Michelles' AirBnB! The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Our highlight was definitely the wonderful Whirlpool! Communication with Michelle was always super quick and very friendly. She even let us borrow a shovel which we could use for the Hot Water Beach. We would recommend staying here anytime and already miss this little piece of paradise!

Mathew's place is truly special — from the fun 4x4 ride through a deer park to the cabin, to the stunning views, total privacy and the covered barbecue area. Just know that it’s quite off the grid, which adds to the charm but also means it’s a bit rustic — the space wasn’t spotless (some dead insects in the outdoor shower, beddings didn’t feel fresh), but it felt understandable given the remote location. The ride with Mathew was super fun (we stood on the back and held the rails!) but it was raining, so we arrived completely wet — not a problem as we had jackets but might not suit everyone. When we arrived it was foggy, so we didn’t see the view until the second evening — but when it cleared, it was absolutely worth it. We recommend coming once and staying put — we walked 45 minutes back to our car as we had some program in between, but it's a nice walk. All in all, we loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for something different who doesn't mind a bit of adventure.

Incredible spot! Gorgeous accommodation! Super friendly & helpful host! We loved everything about this place. So peaceful & relaxing. Loved the outdoor bath! Incredible walks, cafes & everything you might need within 5 mins drive. Loved the homemade brownie & muesli - a magical & delicious touch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Wonderful, peaceful location with lovely amenities! The eco-toilet was cool (no issues or smell, and a really intriguing way to be “off grid”), the outdoor tubs were fun to soak in and stargaze, the bed was comfy, and the farm animals were so sweet. Corrine was so kind and accommodating, super helpful with local recommendations and very sweetly helped us solve some luggage issues we had. We would absolutely recommend this spot for a quiet, private place away from the hustle of “Rotovegas” but also close enough to many local hotspots and services.

At one of Raglan's busiest times, we were fortunate enough to find this lovely oasis. Stuart sent us a great video showing exactly what to expect, and the communication was great. We sat out under the stars in the evening listening to the birds, and it was lovely to wake up there in the mornings. We took the tracks along the back of the property, visited a recommended cafe, and then walked to the beach. We hope to visit again sometime.

Our roadtrip took an unexpected change in route so we unfortunately didn't make it out to Rachel's place (which we were very bummed about given how cozy and characterful the log style home it!). When I reached out to Rachel she was very understanding, responsive, friendly and even tried to work with us and be flexible with our arrangement- something she was not at all obligated to do. Next time around, we will try to come back- the surrounding area looks enchanting and we are anxious to explore Coromandel Peninsula!! Rachel was extremely helpful too!!

The Airbnb sits on the top of a hill by itself overlooking the farm, and has a wicked view of Tauranga Moana and Mayor Island - so beautiful! The layout was open, but private and we enjoyed the indoor/outdoor flow. The trek down to the river was so worth it, and we got to spend a few hours by the river, just enjoying nature and sounds of the water and birdsong, which we had all to ourselves. The sky was so clear that night, so we enjoyed the outdoor fire while watching the stars. This was a top 5 place for us and we hope to be back at some stage. Thank you Matthew and whanau for being so accommodating and friendly - we appreciate the hard work it took to make such a beautiful Airbnb :)

looking for peace & to switch off from the pressures of city life for a night or two then this is the place for you, Fantastic scenery, private & the option of 3 different rooms. you can hire all 3 and it would be an awesome get away for family or a group of friends. One of the rooms has its own bathroom and the other two shared facilities which were only a couple of meters away in the stockyard shed.All clean safe and great hot shower too! We had the best sleep ever! It is off the grid but the solar power was more than enough for basic power, lighting,charging devices etc.Cell phone reception is patchy but a few steps up to the barn and you well connected to the world again. (also being semi disconnected added to the charm of the place.) Bring all your own food & drinks + maybe a board game or 2 and really just enjoy the awesome spot without having to venture into town &relax. bonus is the use of a private boat ramp, we had our 2 jetskis and had an amazing time exporting the lake
