This house was in a beautiful setting with gorgeous grounds. it was very well maintained and comfortable. The house has lots of basics in the pantry and condiments. We loved watching sunset from the lanai through the trees or walking 50 ft to the Pier for a Bayside view (with dolphins often making an appearance). Excellent snorkeling at nearby Manini Beach Park (some of us jumped in at the Pier, too) and by kayak at the Cook Monument across the Bay, or at 2-Step, a 5 minute drive down the road. The AC was good but not usually necessary with great ventilation and fans. The bugs are definitely hoping for snacks, so vigilance to keep a tidy house is crucial (but this is to be expected and wasn't a problem). Dawn was very responsive to a few small problems, and when we couldn't get the dryer to work she had a neighbor offer his so we could finish in time to check out (the dryer was a smart dryer and it out smarted us). We really appreciated how Dawn responded so quickly and helpfully!

We had the dream family trip of a lifetime. The kids loved the pool—morning, noon and evening except when we went off on adventures. The neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance of a rocky beach. The house was roomy and well stocked with two large, long dining tables, one indoors and the other on an enclosed porch outdoors. Perfect for family dining. Joe and Anna were lovely hosts, pleasant and informative. We’d definitely recommend this home to anyone.

We had an absolutely fabulous time in Kona, and Zhe & Sijie’s place was a huge part of it. It made for an amazing home away from home for our two-week stay. The home was exactly as described and as it appeared in the photos - if anything, it was even more perfect in person. Plenty of living space, the kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and lunch at the house each day, and the three bedrooms and bathrooms were a perfect fit for my husband and me, our son and my dad. The elevated deck was perfect for reading in the sun or watching the sunset and then watching the stars come out. The pool is small, but a nice place to relax between activities or at the end of a busy day. The house is also in a very nice neighborhood, very secure and close to a grocery store and quite a few restaurants. Zhe and Sijie were fantastic hosts, super quick to reply to any questions we had, and proactively communicating info about check in and check out. 10/10, highly recommend!!

The house was gorgeous, it matched the pictures and descriptions perfectly. At night it was very peaceful and just the most beautiful views every morning. My wife and I loved that it was so close to the best snorkeling that we've ever done and if you didn't want to do the hike to get to it there's plenty of rentable kayaks nearby. We also managed to see a mama humpback whale and her calf in the bay while we were relaxing on the lanai. Last thing I'll say is that the house was close to alot of local food places that all are highly recommended. When I plan my next trip to the Big Island I will definitely be looking to stay at this house again.

Dave’s place is across the street from premier snorkeling on the Big Island. It comfortably accommodated our party of 5 adults. Impeccably clean and well-appointed with amenities that make the stay easy and comfortable.

This was a great place to stay on the big island. The property was fantastic. I would go again. The beach shown on line is not on the property or near the property but there is a small area on magic sand beach to wade into about 1000’ away that is a public beach. You need to drive 15 miles north to find a nice beach.

This place was awesome. A great place for families. We had 6 adults and one infant and we all had plenty of room. The condo is right across the street from the pool and gym. We rented golf carts to get around the resort and would highly recommend doing this. We did most breakfasts and lunches at the condo with supplies from the grocery store at the shops and also did dinners at the shops as well. Don’t hesitate to rent this unit you will not be disappointed !!!!!!

We loved our time in this beautiful home. The views are incredible and the lanai and pool area is where we spent most of our time. The home was incredibly clean upon arrival and had enough supplies to clean up after ourselves during our stay. This was the most well equipped home we have stayed in. A well stocked kitchen, pool toys, beach gear, plenty of towels, hair tools, and very comfortable beds. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. We would definitely return.

This house indeed has a magic lanai, with amazing sunset views and a beautifully private feeling. The lanai had a breeze if you were hot, and the pool was nestled calmly in trees and was a wonderful mid-afternoon reprieve, and great for the kids. The home itself is smartly designed to cool off quickly at night. Large space with easy flow. Chelsea and Rudi are very helpful When the washing machine broke (such is the randomness of life) it was easily arranged for us to be able to do the laundry next door. Loved the neighbourhood. Away from the busy Ali'i drive, but close enough to walk down to enjoy, or take a short drive. Private and quiet, this was a great home in which to unwind.

We had the most amazing stay in Kona at Richard’s place. The house truly felt like home away from home for a week. The pool and outdoor area were fabulous with breathtaking views of the ocean. The inside was perfect for our family from the dining area to the tv area to the game area where we gathered to play some of the games Richard had on hand a few of the evenings we were there. When we go back, we definitely want to book Richard’s place again! We sure miss being there this week!

This was my 9th trip to a Hawaiian island. Without question, this was my favorite stay. Jaima’s place was the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Within walking distance, I could rent a board and surf one of the better breaks on the island or I could go on a run along a scenic stretch of beachfront. At first, the separate sleep spaces seemed disconnected from the main living space, but as the stay progressed we realized that private spaces would give us what we needed. Outdoor living at its finest! Highly recommend!

Let me start by stating I wish I could give this host/property management/stay a 10-star review. I give them a glowing review because every piece of this stay was positive. It was SO CLEAN, HAD SO MANY things we never thought we needed (aka 8 beach towels, pickleball paddles, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, so many extra linens, every dish and utensil you can think of, fresh coffee, all new appliances, robes, extra SOAPS and much more). It was SO COMFORTABLE, I can’t rave enough about the linens, beds & pillows. I typically don’t leave a stay more refreshed due to the bedding, but I can say this was a huge plus to get that relaxing vibe. Let’s talk about the location...The ad doesn’t highlight the location-ITS PERFECT! Not only are the grounds pristine but it’s located on a golf course and the pool overlooks the ocean (sunset dream). This was the most memorable stress-free trip I’ve ever taken! And the HOSTS are so unbelievably amazing. Even the neighbor offered condiments. A Hui Hou

We loved our stay. The hosts were great, accommodating and helpful! Our family of 5 with kids (7-10) loved our stay! the pool and view were unparalleled. The space was clean and perfect, the parents were in the main apartment while the kids enjoyed the side unit. We had run y with the air mattress and with the couch bed for any kids that wanted to stay with us. We had an amazing first trip to Kona and can't wait to return! Mahalo🌺

Beautiful place! Great location. All the amenities you could need inside: shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, silverware/plates. Also all you could need for the beach including beach towels, umbrella, chairs, and a cooler. Perfect for a long stay. No AC but it cools down at night and we didn't mind. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Lovely place with everything you need for cooking and beach days. This unit does not have an ocean view so don't expect that. It was well furnished and really comfortable for our family of four. Location was nice as these resorts have two little shopping areas with a few restaurants right on the resort - just across the street. Nice beaches just a short 15 min drive. Great response time with manager for a maintainance issue. Next time we might consider staying closer to Kona 30 mins away - very cute little town with tons of dining options and shops. Seemed we were driving down there often. Overall it was an excellent - quiet, lovely, low key family time.

I booked this house under a different host but it sold before our trip. I was a little hesitant to cancel/rebook but everything was great. Both the previous host and the new host reached out several times to help move the booking over. Doug reached out to let me know he was changing the bed types in one of the rooms to make sure it was okay. Great communication. We had no issues during our stay. The house & view was beautiful. Very quite and peaceful. Very well stocked house. Our only complaint would be that there was no TV in the master bedroom (but one of the other rooms did have one). It was not an issue for me but my husband falls asleep better to the noise of a TV. If we ever return to the Big Island and rent a house, we will stay again.

Barb’s home is exceptional, especially for a large family/friend’s vacation. The pictures really don’t show the beauty of the spaces! Our group had 7 adults and a toddler and the spaces were varied and perfect for relaxing, swimming, socializing, cooking and sleeping. The location of this amazing house is steps from great snorkeling, fantastic sunsets and incredible outings. The ocean breezes cooled the house at night, and although we did use ceiling fans and room fans, we didn’t need any air conditioning (although there were units in each bedroom). Highlights included the pool which was much bigger than the pictures showed and the back porch with Koi Ponds and waterfalls. We would definitely recommend staying here and our family hopes to come back in the future!

This was the best Airbnb that we have stayed at. Amazing to just watch the beautiful sunset out the back. Everything was perfect in and outside the place! Would definitely stay here again!

I had the most incredible stay at this Quynh's rental! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place was a true gem. The location was ideal – located in a nice neighborhood with a stunning sunset view. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight of our experience was the host. She was friendly, welcoming, and proactive, checking in with us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Kona. Highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

This was a beautiful peaceful place and the outside sitting areas were the biggest plus to have. We sat out every night in the tower. Heidi our host was very responsive and we communicated well. We liked having multiple living areas as we are around 70 and there were 2 couples and a single. The pictures were representative however the sofas are starting to show their age as they have been well used because they are so comfy. Since we are older the foam mattresses on the beds were a little too soft for us but would be fine for someone younger. This was probably the most well stocked house I have stayed in ever. Lots of bed pillows and towels, laundry detergent supplied, even baggies in the kitchen. No need to bring toiletries nor buy toilet paper because they only give you one roll and they also supplied wipes to use for wiping down counters! There is room for 2 care or small suvs. However anything large like a minivan or full size SUV would be difficult to park .

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was as described in the posting narrative. Roxanne was very nice and easy to work with during checkin. The location was outstanding and a quick walk to the shore to watch the sunset. There is also a duck 🦆 a few yards away nesting under a bush. The only small issue was the burner guides on the stove were rubbed off, so it was a little difficult to control the burner settings. That is the only issue the entire week we were there, so overall it was an awesome experience 😎!
