Honestly we were hesitant arriving because the building is outdated but the condo itself was spotless, very clean & full of amenities. We did a load of laundry and soap was provided and the kitchen was fully stocked, which was very nice. The bed was comfortable and my kids loved that they got to blow on the shell every evening. No complaints here. Mahalo for our stay! 🐚

What an amazing location for a trip to Maui. This rental has everything you could possibly need for a beach day. Got Tommy Bahama beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, toys, and even some Sunscreen/aloe left over from past guests. The beach is a short manageable walk away without the stress of parking a car. Such a beautiful balcony to relax on with a beautiful Mountain View. Host was VERY responsive, helpful, and kind throughout our entire stay! Be back again soon!

We loved staying here! The location was easy to get to and to get to different places on the island we wanted to visit. South Maluaka Beach was our favorite beach. Black Rock Beach was so fun and there was a guy, Bruce with a boogie board, taking people on free snorkeling tours and telling them about the fish. It was so fun! Road to Hana was long but fun. Haleakala sunrise was a must!! Leave on next day of travel and by 2:50am to give yourself time. Cafe O Lei Plantation was a gorgeous restaurant. South Maui Gardens was amazing place to take the kids and they gave great events!! Thank you to Gabriel for being so accommodating! His home is beautiful and he does such a fantastic job keeping it organized with labels and sharing so many amenities. We appreciated staying in such a comfortable place.

It was a lovely unit! The master bedroom and bath are very spacious. The bed was comfortable. The pool/hot tub area was very nice and the beach is right there where you don’t have to walk across a road to get to it. The only thing I would change is to have the pool open earlier in the morning and later in the evening. We are usually so busy on vacations, by the time we get down to enjoy the pool, it’s 8 or 9:00 at night. I loved it there and would definitely come and stay again!!

Eileen is a wonderful host. She provides you with clear instructions and is up front about everything you need to know to get your paradise vacation started. She was so helpful in her restaurant and activity recommendations as well. The studio apartment is amazing. It comes equipped with everything you could ever need for your time in Maui including beach chairs and cooking supplies . She even went above and beyond in providing toiletries. The property is stunning to say the least. It’s convenient in its proximity to nice restaurants and activities as well as having a great pool and spa.

My family and I had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back. The unit was clean and had everything we needed and more. We felt right at home. The amenities are great for children and we loved being on the ground floor with stunning views of the ocean and sunset.

We really liked our stay at Denise’s place— it made our time in Kihei very enjoyable. The unit felt like plenty of space for the two of us and we loved having a patio and waking up to an ocean view. We also had a view of the pool which was frequently busy. A small beach is a very short walk across the lawn and it was convenient to have beach chairs, a cooler, and snorkel gear in-unit. The place is very central to the rest of Kihei and was quick to get to and from. Kitchen was very well-equipped. We would definitely come back!

Sugar Beach #111 was perfect for our family. The ground floor unit made everything a cinch, parking was ample and easy, grounds were well maintained and the pool was so fun for my 3 year old. You are literally steps away from the beach and a morning beach stroll away from a great pastry. We appreciated the beach decor and the privacy hedge lining the patio or lanai made this unit one of the best locations in the resort.

The best part of this house/unit is that the beach is just 2 steps away. Kids had lot of fun.

Great location, the condo is very clean and organized. They thought of everything in the kitchen. The beach nearby was great for snorkeling and swimming.

Our whole family vacationed together with all of us staying in the same location. It was wonderful. The young people enjoyed the snorkeling right off the beach where they saw lots of turtles! My daughter has a time share at the same location and we were all in the same building. Service at the front desk was great. Really had no need to call Chris. All was great!!

The location of this condo is unmatched. Easy walks to the main three beaches, located close to many restaurants and a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. The condo had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

This Airbnb was amazing. We stayed here 4 nights and immediately felt at home. First let’s talk about the view. You have an unobstructed view of the beach and direct beach access straight from your patio. There are wash stations so you don’t get sand back in your unit and the host even offers you beach equipment (chairs, beach mats, snorkel gear etc..) so you don’t have to rent. You also have direct access to the pool. Noise from the pool area was never an issue. We really enjoyed watching the beautiful sunrise and sunset from the patio. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and cooking utensils to make breakfast and there was a washer and dryer for laundry. Kanapali Ann Lahaina were each about a 15 min drive away. There’s also a food truck park on site and a grocery store 2 mins away. Would absolutely recommend this stunning and very comfortable Airbnb for your vacation.

This place is wonderful! Lots of spiritual iconography surrounding the grounds and inside the building. It was relaxing and comfortable with an amazing view. The amenities were very cool as well, I enjoyed the jacuzzi and outside shower as well as the front pool. The property was very calm with fishponds, gardens, and animal nests. My wife and I used contact information there to hire two massage therapists to come to a special building on the property. We got 90m lomi lomi and a special cranio - sacral massage. I highly recommend Tanmayo and Adrian her massage partner, they were wonderful. Amazing views and friendly receptionists in the office made our trip so memorable. The only drawback was the many tiny creatures that were in the building. Being from Oahu I know all too well that this is common, luckily the ants there are not tiny fire ants and do not sting. There is also a locked door leading to a hallway that connects to another building. It was open one day, nothing was stolen.

We had a lovely 2 weeks at Luana Kai. Our condo was clean and had everything we needed for our time there. There was plenty to do right in Kihei and we had a great time.

Great stay

The views and surroundings of this home are truly special. It was worth the back and forth driving for us during our 4 day stay. It also put us closer to Haleakala for sunrise and RTH. We chose to stay upcountry for the first half of our trip and beachfront for the second half. It was a treat to experience both locations and get to see more of Maui than just the ocean. Beds were very comfortable despite the elevated height. No window coverings on bedroom windows but we appreciated seeing the starry sky at night and the sunrise in the AM. No A/C but fans and open windows were very comfortable. Unheated pool was too cold to use in March but hot tub was pleasant. Dawn was attentive and gracious. House is divided into three sections: main residence, MIL suite, and rental - then a detached “jungalow”. Makawao is a cool town. We loved our stay in Upcountry!

The location and view were fantastic, and we truly enjoyed our stay. However, we did notice some noise at night from the laundry area and people, and it was a bit surprising when people entered the garden to work without prior notice. A little more communication in these instances would have made the experience even better

My husband and I stayed in this unit for 2 weeks over the Christmas period with our two children. we found the unit to be very well equipped with everything we could have needed for our stay. the kitchen in particular was great with newer cabinets and marble-look countertop - it was all very easy to keep clean through our stay. The washer and dryer inside the unit was a plus and super convenient - it meant that we could pack less for our trip since we could do laundry throughout our stay. The suite overlooked the ocean and the pickleball courts, so there was always some people-watching potential. As a relatively small complex, it was nice to recognize faces at the pool or in the parking lot throughout our stay - it does have the feel of a small community. The location of the complex itself was wonderful. it had the convenience of being very close to all the restaurants of Kihei without being directly in the action. This meant less traffic but could pick up takeout within 5 minutes.
