Wailuku River : locations de vacances

We really enjoyed our time in Hilo. Richard's house was a great space for our family. Definitely a chill, summer house vibe. It had everything we needed, and the view out the picture windows was stunning. We loved the huge tree in the front yard. We spent a lot of time at Richardson Beach. Snorkeling was really great. We would love to return.

We stayed at Sheryll’s place for 6 nights. Our stay was very nice. Her home is comfy and perfect for a couple. There was coffee for us to enjoy every morning. She gifted two Hawaii mugs to us, so thoughtful. The neighborhood was nice as well. Market only a couple blocks away. Totally walkable. We enjoyed chatting with her and her husband Roger. This place is a great home base for exploring Volcanoes National Park and the Hamakua coast. The house was exactly as pictured. We had no major issues. It did get a little warm in there at night but it was air conditioned with wall mounted and window units. It’s located right off of the main road but was quiet at night. The view is next level…literally right on Hilo Bay. Truly beautiful. Super close to downtown Hilo. You could walk if you want but you’d have to go over the Hilo Bay bridge which can be busy. Jordan was a great host…responsive and extremely helpful. Overall I would recommend this place as a quality jumping off point for exploring this half of the Big Island.

We had a great stay, nice home to come back to. Easy trip to Volcano National Park which we took advantage of several times!

we loved our stay, Matt and Rose's place was the perfect getaway for our 'Baby-moon'. the space is so peaceful and so much more beautiful than the pictures let on. we loved it here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. we would stay again in a heartbeat. thanks so much Matt and Rose!

This home exceeded our expectations! Beautiful interior: spacious, open and airy interior. The hot tub and backyard lawn are very nice. This is one of the best homes in Waikaloa Village. If you have 4 or more people, I strongly recommend staying here. Waikaloa Village is a peaceful, residential community ten minutes up the hill from the beach. The weather is cooler and less humid than the beach--more comfortable, in my opinion. There are restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance, and it is very convenient for driving to Waimea, Hilo, Volcano and Captain Cook. The hosts, Rich and Toni, were very responsive and flexible. They made us feel very welcome--including a beautiful basket of local fruits and a bouquet of flowers awaiting our arrival. Couldn't have been better!

Such a relaxing stay. Even had food stocked in kitchen!

Mahalo for everything. I felt at home with Delia & Kim from the very beginning. Their loving nature and the effort they put into everything is extraordinary. I'll never forget the Big Island for several reasons, and staying with Delia and her family is definitely one of them. The location is worth its weight in gold for anyone seeking peace and quiet. Peaceful neighborhood, everyone was nice and it was really close to the beach - exactly what we were looking for!
