Really lovey stay. The perfect place for the occasion and a simple check-in check-out experience. Feels like a country cottage despite being on the main stretch in Amberly. Traffic noise is almost non-existent thanks to the layout of the house and the high wooden fence. The garden is fantastic too and we all wish we’d had more time to enjoy the place. Great local recommendations for food and drink too. Have already recommended to others who may be in the area in future. Thank you!

Es ist es auf jeden Fall wert für einen Aufenthalt zu Peter zu kommen. Wir fühlten uns wie zuhause und konnten unseren Aufenthalt deshalb auch einfach verlängern. Auf unserer ganzen Reise durch Neuseeland war Peter der angenehmste und zuvorkommendste Host. Alles war unkompliziert und die Gespräche war immer gut und auch lustig. Danke für diese erholsame Zeit.

Lovely family style home in a quiet suburban setting

A beautiful house in a great spot, with everything you could need for an easy holiday. The pictures don’t do justice to how lovely the living/dining/kitchen is - spacious, well-equipped, beautiful timber and furnishings.  The bedrooms are configured in an unusual way that actually suited us perfectly - the master suite is up one flight of stairs, and the other two bedrooms are accessed by different stairs. The study with a mattress, if you need it, is on the ground floor. There was privacy and a separate bathroom for everyone! We had seen an earlier review mentioning that another property is very close to Philippa’s house. There is a small old (restored) bach that seems to open onto the same garden and deck area. We never saw anybody there and it did not affect our stay at all. This is the kind of home we would love to come back to! We travelled with a preschooler and baby.

The place is spotless and well organized. Close to a great walkable beach. Enjoyed our stay.

This place was perfect for my family and I for just over a week. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating the place was lovely private well presented and very clean. We love the location near the beach and my daughter especially loved the horses. Highly recommended, we look forward to staying here again.

Lisa was a lovely host, she provided us with a travel cot and lovely homemade bread and jam. The place was absolutely beautiful, we want to live there!!
