Great friendly couple, well worth the stay, awesome supplies provided that wasn't expected but a welcome surprise. Thanks for your kindness - definitely recommend people stay at Elvies place.

We had a lovely stay whilst doing part of the Alps to Ocean bike ride. Really cosy place. The hot tub was the perfect temperature. The apple cake if you opt for dinner was brilliant. The only heads up I'd give other guests is that if you're over 5' 9 you might be ducking slightly in part of the bus, and there's no electricity inside. Neither was a problem for us though.

Great location right next door to the local pub with great meals. We were here to cycle a couple of local cycle trails but sadly the weather was not the best but we did find a walk through the wetlands only a short distance from the apartment. The apartment is well equipped and we especially appreciated the Nespresso machine. We were quite comfortable and enjoyed our stay there.

The unit was squeaky clean and comfortable with everything you need. Kevin was very friendly, responsive and generous with providing us with everything we needed to know. Loved the decor of the unit and the beautiful scenery right next to it. Highly recommended 😊

We absolutely loved staying at Jan’s place. Such a great location, with so many places nearby to visit. One day we visited Oamaru and the next Mt Cook. The geological sites near Kurow-Duntroon were amazing. The lakes are gorgeous, I only wish I brought my bike with me. Our dog also loved Jan’s place as she was safe and secure in the fully fenced gorgeous garden.

Another wonderful stay at this beautiful property - the view, the serenity and the peacefulness of the little church will stay us for a long time. Thanks so much Jocelyn, we'll definitely be back!

Roses parents were extremely helpful when we needed extra fridge space. Most grateful. Comfy beds. Loved the peace and quiet, stunning sunrises, beautiful scenery. Needed more time there to thoroughly enjoy the space. So it was fantastic and I have already recommended it to my friends and family. 4+++ stars from us for accommodation and 5+++stars for Rose’s parents as they were just fab.
