We had a great stay at Alexey's place. The apartment was clean and easy to access. Alexey was quick to respond to questions and helpful - we had an issue with the oven that was solved very quickly. The apartment is inland a little bit with nice views of the coast. It was easy to get around with a rented car - around 30 min from the airport, <10 min to the beach and being a bit more central made it easy to get to other parts of the island (like Hilo, Volcanoes NP and Pololu Valley). Would definitely stay here again!

If I could give it more stars I would! Amy exudes the aloha spirit and her place is thoughtfully designed. You have everything you need to cook a great meal which is how we like to travel! The space itself is modern, has great airflow with the AC and a cute porch where we spent our mornings- also bed is very comfortable. Amy was so generous and gifted us a delicious sourdough bread she baked along with a homemade pumpkin butter 😋. We will be back!! ❤️

Ryan was an excellent host. He is a great communicator and quick to respond to any questions . Everything was exactly as described. Our place was wonderful! We will definitely book with Ryan again

We stayed at this property for 4 nights and had a great experience. Pros: 1. Affordable pricing 2. Peaceful setting 3. Clean room 4. Decent internet connection ~ 7 to 10 Mbps consistent Cons: None really Will stay at this place again in a heartbeat.... really affordable, clean and safe space.

정말정말 좋았어요! 조이스가 집앞에서 맞아줬고, 친절하게 설명해줬어요. 실상 아예 독립된 방과 욕실이라 사생활 보호도 잘 됩니다. 벌레도 방안에 하나도 없었어요. 코나 공항과 15분정도 거리에요. 코나지역을 두루 다니기에는 무척 좋은 위치입니다. 다만 반드시 차를 렌트해야합니다. 코나 시내에 한번 남편이랑 술마시러 나가서 우버를 불렀는데 잡히긴 잘 잡히지만 상당히 비쌉니다. 만약 빅아일랜드를 또 온다면 망설임 없이 이곳을 선택 할 거에요! Joyce 정말정말 고마워요 🫶🏻 We had an absolutely amazing stay! Joyce welcomed us right in front of the house and kindly explained everything. The room and bathroom offer plenty of privacy, which we really appreciated. Plus, there wasn’t a single bug inside the room! The location is perfect—only about 15 minutes from Kona Airport and super convenient for exploring the Kona area. However, renting a car is a must. We did take an Uber once to go downtown for drinks, and while rides were easy to get, the fare was quite expensive. If we ever come back to the Big Island, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Our gracious hosts were super responsive throughout our stay. Before our arrival, they offered to greet us for a personalized check in, but it was not needed as the check in instructions were very easy to follow. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is in the unit. They also had some snorkeling equipment and beach towels for us to use. Do note that the unit is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator to get to the unit. All of the bedrooms are on the 2nd floor of the unit as well, so keep that in mind if you or your fellow travelers have mobility issues. Great location as it is walkable to all the restaurants and shops on All'i Drive. Would stay here again!

Matt was there to warmly welcome us and show us around. The grounds were very pretty, private, quiet, peaceful and conscious. It is all solar, has a composting option which we did, an awesome outdcoor shower which waters the trees with great water pressure and plenty of hot water under the moon and stars. The unit was attractive, clean and comfortable. I saw a few comments about the bed, some complimentary and some not, so will say in our experience it was comfy enough and had nice linens but it does dip in the middle and we rolled to the center. The washer and dryer in the unit were great to have handy. We would definately stay here again.

Mo’s place was everything I look for in an Airbnb. Quiet, private, easy to find. A five minute walk away from the nearest beach! Other beaches are only a little bit farther away. I didn’t have a rental car for most of my trip but the Bus stop is also five minute walk away. I felt like I was in the jungle, there was so much tropical greenery around! It is near an airport so there was airplane noises overhead but you only hear it once or twice a night and it comes and goes quickly. I had a great stay and would stay here again!

We wish there was a higher level than super host! It takes a certain type of person to open up their home to strangers. Dani & David are gracious, welcoming, caring, knowledgeable, supportive and fun! We have never used Airbnb before and boy did we luck out!!! We decided to take an extended stay in Kona, living and working from there. We wanted to feel the comforts of our home while being away for so long. Dani & David have made the last 6 weeks so perfect and have exceeded all of our expectations and then some! The home is fully equipped with a wonderful kitchen, as a chef there wasn’t anything I was lacking to make meals during our extended stay. Beach equipment, snorkeling equipment, great restaurant, grocery shopping and sight seeing advice & tips. There hasn’t been anything lacking or missing for us! When Dani learned I had sensitivities to soaps & other products, she bought hypoallergenic laundry soap & cleaners! Mahalo Dani & David, we look forward to seeing you again

Ross’s suite in Kona was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for our first two night on the Big Island. Loved the classic Hawaiian-patterned couch & bedding! We appreciated the extra snorkeling gear & boogie boards for our day at Hapuna beach!

Exceptional to say the least and photos do not do this beautiful home justice! I stayed in Mary’s home for a month and felt at home every second I was there. The location of this Airbnb was incredible. Hearing the ocean waves crashing at night, nature chirping you to sleep and no city noise to deal with I slept so peacefully here. You have a beautiful private entrance covered in lush greenery and stunning flowers, simple parking for your vehicle, coin-laundry on site, an Abundance of beach chairs, umbrellas and even snorkel gear. Let’s also not forget the kitchen had everything I needed to cook at the Airbnb. You’re in walking distance to a great bar/restaurant called Magics which is right next to Magic Sands Beach, but even if that’s not in your evening plans your less than a 3 min walk to a beautiful area to watch the sunset every evening. Without a doubt I recommend Mary’s Airbnb to anyone looking for the best vacation spot on the island and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Kathy’s Tropical Hideaway is just that. A private space in a lush garden, it is so relaxing that once you’re there you won’t want to leave. We had everything we needed for a weeks’ stay, including the benefit of a big closet full of all things ‘beach’. Boogie boards, snorkel equipment, umbrella and chairs. It is such a bonus to not have to drag those things with you. Kathy was so accommodating to any request and also respected our privacy. She and the other’s living on the property are friendly and informative, but will give you the space to be alone. The bed was comfy, the hot tub was clean and inviting, the outdoor shower had lots of hot water, and the breezes were wonderful. Ask Kathy to see her photo studio where she has examples of her work for sale. She is a very talented photographer and uses many different styles. Our advice is to bring earplugs for nighttime. You get used to the wildlife sounds, but if you’re sensitive to noise, you’ll want them. We can’t wait to go back!

This was a perfect place to stay in Hilo. It is near the old downtown and the famous Hilo market. The apartment has many artistic touches which makes it very homey. Anthony had lots of recommendations about where to eat and what to see. We really enjoyed Hilo and the area surrounding it. Take the drive up to the Mauna Kea Visitor Center for sunset--so worth it. As others have noted, the ceilings are low so if you are tall, look for another place. This wasn't a problem for us.

Stayed only one night before we flew out of KOA, but the gorgeous views, birdsong and greenery had us wishing we spent more time here! Kathy Jo was responsive and helpful for our check in, allowing us to maximize our last day on the island!

We absolutely loved our stay at Jen’s unit for our family. The location of the complex was ideal and short walk to Waikoloa shops and quick drive to all of the great beaches! Her unit was bright, big and comfortable and very well stocked especially with all the great towels, beach chairs, cooler and umbrella. The location nearby the pool, gym and bbq was perfect. Kids loved being ground floor with easy access to the lanai and outdoor patio seating. Jen was so easy to get a hold of when we needed her, as we only had a minor issue with the front door lock, but she was on it immediately and very responsive and helpful. We would recommend this place for sure!!

We stayed at the Kona Hawaiian resort in 2024 and it was just as nice in 2025! It's a really ideal setup for my husband, daughter, my inlaws and myself with the two bedroom suite. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the pool almost every day. I will likely come back a third time!

The hosts have created a super comfortable space. It is spacious and has an expansive lanai. It’s about 2 miles south of the main Kona strip. The unit has a great equipped kitchen. They have spent a great deal of thought to make sure guests feel comfortable, including a great chalkboard with local recommendations. (The only addition I would include to it is to add the Cheeky Tiki has the best cocktails anywhere close to the unit and is worth checking out). But this is a really special place to visit. We could not have had a better time.

Allyson was an angel. She was so helpful when we were stranded. She supported us as much as she could and checked in while on vacation. Allyson was a great communicator and very supportive. We will definitely connect with her again about any future vacations. Thank you so much for all your help, you really saved our vacation!!

Place itself was nice and comfy. Kitchen well stocked with everything you would need. I was in a downstairs unit and noise travels easily, could hear upstairs neighbors at all hours. Despite the noise, I would stay here again.

i will remember my Hilo experience forever because of your house! It’s like living in heaven! Love the birds singing! (I never heard bird sounds like this, it has echoes! Want to know the name of the bird;). The modeling of the living area is impressive! Finally want to give extra star to the hot tub! It’s amazing to enjoy it especially when it’s raining! I’ll def come back!!

Great place to stay with kids! The one bedroom unit was very spacious. It was tidy, free of clutter, and felt safe. Kitchen came equipped with all the things we needed to cook meals for ourselves. Appreciated the packets of coffee and cleaning supplies!
