We enjoyed our stay very much! The place is located on a elevated spot above Whakatane with breathtaking views! Lorraine was extremely accommodating and making us feel like home! The place is very spacious with more than enough space for our group of six adults and two kids - they even had a kids toy box! Thank you!

Beautiful house in a lovely neighbourhood just minutes from the beach. Well set up for dogs to stay as well. Easy to communicate with host both before and during our stay

it was a perfect place to relax for a couple of days, and I felt like home which was the most important. the house has everything you needed plus more. super nice host, they asked me what I needed before checking in and left me bread and milk. really couldn't have found a better place. if I'm back in the area I know what I'm booking

Janet was lovely and easy to deal with, communication was amazing. House was perfect and was well located for our employees to stay in while working down there. Janet was lovely enough to let our employees have a later check out due to a cancellation, this was a massive help to our team. House was beautiful and matched the Airbnb description. A lovely, welcoming home, really well equipped, very comfortable. Communication was great from start to finish and every everything in the house had clear instructions which was very helpful. We will definitely stay again

We were in town for a family birthday.. This house is super close to Whakatane Town centre. Had everything we needed. The deck was fenced which helped keep our furbaby inside. Plenty of parking. Has a real family vibe.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Barbs beautiful home, it had everything we needed, fully equipped kitchen, spacious living and dining, loved the outdoor deck straight off lounge nice spot to eat and relax a wonderful touch was each room was so beautifully presented and the spa pool topped off each day with a relaxing soak. Feeding Mr Wilson was great too the kids enjoyed having a little job each day. Thank you so much. We had a lovely Easter weekend together.

Wow! A wonderful 1 week stay in a fabulous location. Was as pictured on the site but miles better on arrival. 1 minute to beach; friendly people; short walk (10-15 mins) to local cafes, bus stop, playground & bushwalk. Denys's apartment was very clean and everything I needed was in the kitchen, plus extras such as salt, ice, oil, etc. Bed was so comfy & shower was hot. The best bit was the amazing view of the beach (& wonderful sunrises and sunsets). Would highly recommend. Will definitely book again. Thank you, Denys.

You know when you walk in to an air BnB and you instantly feel at ease and like you’re going to have the best weekend because of the place you get to sleep is perfect, this is how I felt stepping into Raewyn and Rod’s property. It was clean to absolute perfection, the bathroom was really cool, the beds were great - comfortable as and the granola, as per other reviews was fab! The home made peaches were however my favourite and my dad loved the plum jam! It’s peaceful with a great view and ambient outdoor areas to soak up some sun. In walking distance from a cute coffee spot and the pub was great for food. My dad and I had the best weekend and we couldn’t be more grateful for our stay and highly recommend.

Sehr sauber und top ausgestattet. Rebecca und ihr Mann managen den Komplex mit mehreren Ferienwohnungen. Parken im Innenhof inbegriffen. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Über den Ort muss man wissen, dass er an einem Hafen liegt, zum Ohope Beach muss man fahren.

A tranquil hidden gem. Enjoyed the back garden with tui and kereru swooping overhead in the morning and warm sunshine in the afternoon. A lovely host who helped when needed then left us be. The studio had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Would love to come back to explore the region further.
