Perfect little 1bedroom, very spacious with two decks for entertainment, lots of lawn space for kids to run around, beach views are amazing from the front patio. Sunsets were absolutely beautiful. And the kaimoana never disappoints here in Tora 😊 🎣 🦞 Wish we had booked for longer, next time 👍

Always a treat to stay in the A-frame. The beach front location is sensational. Very spacious inside. The front and back decks really are beautiful sun traps and maximise outdoor flow. Always clean and tidy and well equiped. Fi is very welcoming and friendly. Love returning there. My dog cried when we had to leave 🥲

It was a classic kiwi bach right down to the board games. The fresh made bread on arrival and bowl of fruit were welcome touches. Well stocked for towels even had dog towels if they were needed. It was great to be able to have our four legged family friend with us. Paul and Anne were great to deal with which made stay hassle free. We would recommend this as a place to stay.

Very modern, well equipped space. Set back from road, so less traffic noise tho a more restricted (but still nice) ocean view. Enjoyed hot tub…lots of linens provided. Spacious living areas and bedrooms. Very large dining table but could use more than 4 chairs. Short walk to great beach cafe. Would help to have some additional instructions for checkout.

We are return visitors to this place and are grateful to the hosts for sharing this special place. Many thanks to Fi for the extra little touches. Really enjoyed the changes to the outdoor seating area!

Andreas place was amazing. My Mum and her friends had a lovely time. It was peaceful and quiet, stunning location, classic kiwi bach. Lovely little details, and extras. Andrea was responsive and helpful. Thanks, we will definitely be back.

This house was excellent for our extended family gathering – the kids loved the table tennis room, the oldies loved the view, and we all loved the direct access to the beach. Thank you, Jill, – your communications were great, the house was spotless, the beds were super and the setting made this a gathering we will all remember, even though it was for Great Grandma’s funeral.

We had a lovely stay! We arrived in the dark and waking up to that view was something else! Such a special spot to take little ones, being able to come back and forth from the beach as we pleased was fantastic! Also loved the family feel of the Bach - you could tell there were many happy memories had there over the generations! Very accomodating hosts with great communication. We would love to visit again. Highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay with Hieke and Peter. They are very friendly and flexible and made us feel at home immediately. The room was spacious and had a walk in closet with plenty of room for our belongings. Their house is less than a block away to walking paths along the coast. We didn't have a chance to meet Hieke but we enjoyed chatting with Peter about his background, New Zealand life and recommendations for the area. We greatly appreciated the nice breakfast with eggs, use of the hot tub and the washing machine. We would defintely stay here again, given the opportunity!

We really enjoyed our stay at Asha’s AirBnb and cannot recommend it highly enough. It was great for a group of us, with multiple entertainment areas and private bedrooms. Amazing back section with a swimming pool which was a treat in summer. Thanks for letting us stay Asha, we had a great time.

This place really felt like a home away from home. There was everything we needed. The hot tub and pool were much enjoyed. We were able to have a wonderful gathering with overseas family members and visits from our NZ children, plenty of space. We loved the beach. Simon was very friendly and helpful.

Thank you, what a lovely and special family home, it made for a magical and relaxing xmas break. Beautiful deco home with bohemian vibes. A spacious garden area to play led to an ethereal private pathway to the beach which was dotted with wild flowers. Original deco elements retained in the bathrooms. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds with views. Would not hesitate to recommend. Many thanks.

Great location, straight onto the beach. Went to sleep listening to the waves. Ran 10Km in both directions on safe paths by the water. Local fish & chips too. Big comfy bed. Basic but everything I needed, loved it. Very friendly hosts.

We booked Shelly's place for one of our temporary workers. They loved the convenient situation for evening walks after work. They really enjoyed this airbnb and Shelly was amazing offering early check in and late check out , everything worked perfectly. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at Trudi’s place over Christmas. We had everything we needed. Great to have the beach across the road with lots of amenities close by. Would love to stay again

We really loved our stay! A beautiful spot with views of the sea. Quiet and peaceful with easy access to the beach, park and cafes in the village. Clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

The only negative is that we only had time to stay for two days!! Our studio apartment was beautifully presented - everything you needed including direct access straight to the beach and sea. Hot tub & sun rises to die for!! - dinner reservation secured by Brin at Crab Farm Winery (only open on Fri Nights) - a walk away from our accommodation. Easy drive to Napier for all things Art Nouveau. Don’t think I will ever forget the views of the ocean - Brin & Biddys hospitality and their lovely little dog Duke. Fantastic house nestled under the stunning cliffs and just a short walk away from beautiful Kairakau beach. This was our second stay here and it was another wonderful stay. There is plenty of room in the house for 3 couples with lovely big living/dining areas and a spacious kitchen, and having three bathrooms is a real luxury. Stephanie was very responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a long weekend escape at the beach with friends or family!

Incredibly responsive and thoughtful hosts. The house is on the waterfront and is both gorgeous and spacious. The hosts have plentiful quantities of everything you could possibly need. A lovely stay.

I had a marvelous stay at the Seaview house of Dreenagh and Kevin. Working in the industrial area it was a 5 minutes drive to work. It was always a great "coming home" in the afternoon. Nice restaurants are near, towards Eastbourne-Days Bay as well as in (the direction of) Petone. Free time: the trails behind the house in the fern woods are perfect for a hike or run. The house is equipped with all the requisites: a full-option kitchen, washing machine, WIFI. I hope to be back at Point Howard during my next stay!
