We had a long 6hr drive and clay place was easy to find on the map. Julia had already sent code which was awesome because we were able to enter the house without any problems and clay was only a msg away if we needed anything. We were able to relax as soon as we arrived and it felt like we were right at home. The house is such a cozy peaceful house if you wanting to unwind and the beach was just a small walk away and we were lucky enough to see the sunset.

Lovely home, lots of natural light, bird song in the morning was beautiful, great place to stay.

This is the quintessential Kiwi bach with a bonus trampoline for the kids and a volleyball net for everyone! We enjoyed the generous outside living space, and there is a covered outside deck for our family dog to stay. The home had everything we needed, was very clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. Great location, only a 2-minute drive to the beach, and to the forest for walking and biking tracks. Supermarket is about an 8-minute drive into Foxton.

Absolutely loved our stay! The house was spotless, well-organised, and had everything we needed—great amenities throughout. Super cozy and comfortable. Bonus points for being dog-friendly—our pups felt right at home! Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful family weekend at Blackbird House. Beautifully laid out house with lovely touches like fresh flowers in each bedroom. Super close to the Square but very peaceful. Lovely outdoor space to relax in too.

great communication. really clear instructions on how to find the place and how to get inside. although connected to the main house, still felt really private and didn't actually see anyone else during our stay (only the night).

A fabulous place for a family holiday - my kids loved playing in the flat yard and with the beach about a minute or two walk away, it was easy to get the kids into the water and back. Raumati South four square and cafes just over 5 minutes walk away. The bach itself was well equipped with basic supplies and Amy is a wonderful host - proactive communicator and extremely kind and helpful.

6 of us stayed here the night befor a charity car run. Chilling out the back on a sunny afternoon was awesome. Neighbours friendly have a great day.

Julie was so friendly and communicative, she made us feel right at home. So did Archie and Stevey the dogs, who we loved! The villa was larger than I expected and was perfectly set up for us. The location is ideal, close to the waterfront, wineries and cafes, and not too far from Havelock North for more restaurants, cafes and shops. Would recommend and would definitely stay again 😊 Thank you Julie for having us

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s place. The house is spacious, beautiful and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Sarah was a very responsive, attentive and friendly host! We particularly enjoyed the pool, spa, and playing frisbee on the massive grounds. The views are magical. The house is only a short drive/walk from vineyards and easy drive to Masterton. Would happily stay here again, cannot recommend it enough!

Easy to find and seamless checkin. A nice quiet road with beautiful properties all around. An excellent place to stay for a couple of nights.

I’ve never been sadder to leave an Airbnb! An absolute gem of a space in a bucolic setting with hosts who were clearly born hospitable. We were warmly welcomed, and given a property tour along with a map orientation of Napier. Every suggestion was spot on. Wineries galore very nearby. The space is wonderful—uniquely designed to let the outdoors in; the apartment is stylish, comfy and very well-appointed. I can’t say enough about this as a place to stay, and the very best hosts!

Nick and Judy’s Pavilion is a gem and a beautiful example of modern architecture that is sensitive to local surroundings and other local buildings. It is bright and spacious and full of clever design features that makes great use of space and enhance cross-breezes inside when it is warm. It features high ceilings, a huge shower room space in the bathroom, wrap-around window seats in the bedroom, and a clever kitchenette space behind a pull down screen that hides it away when you don’t want to look at it. Large windows capture views of lovely expanses of lawn and gardens and offer peeks of the orchards beyond. A short trail at the back of the property takes you down to a park with a stream and a great walking trail that leads at either end to bridges offering access to Havelock North and Hastings. Nick and Judy are great hosts - offering recommendations as well as information about the property and providing fresh bread, milk, eggs and homemade jams and granola upon arrival.

Maxines place was lovely and quiet and great place for a quiet getaway with our dog. Maxine communicated really well and made sure we had everything we needed.

This was our second time staying here, and we hope there will be a third! I stayed here with my bridesmaids to get ready for our big day, and the home had everything we needed for relaxing. The spa was excellent and we loved the gas fires too.

Klare is what makes this a special place: kind, friendly, and helpful. The bed is comfy, the tuis chat away, and it's a bit like a good old kiwi holiday bach. Casual, welcoming, and easygoing in a spare self contained room of her home. Thank you Klare for added excitement 😊

I only spent one night here however could quite easily have stayed longer. The unit was very clean and tidy and even included breakfast for the price. There was yoghurt, fruit in containers, cereals, eggs, fresh fruit, bread, fruit juice, biscuits, chocolates and an array of teas and coffees. The bed was comfortable. Good shower. Automatic light in hall which comes on should you need to get up in the night. The unit was described and pictured as in the listing. I have no hesitation in recommending Mary and Ross’ place and would certainly stay here again should the need arise.

The house has magnificent views that are great in any weather. The space is well equipped and relaxing. It was lovely to receive a bottle of bubbles & peanuts to welcome us. Michael is a great communicator.

It was exactly what I needed! Peace in the country by the river, among farms, olive groves and vineyards. Vernette left me a thoughtful card and gift for my birthday (why I was getting away!) which made it even better. 💙

Priscillas place is absolutely stunning and so well built. The location is very quiet within the valley. Only a short drive to Wellington. Priscilla sent us a lot of tips and information upfront, as well as pictures of the whole building process. A hidden gem. I would definitely recommend staying here!

It was nice to have Janet & Ian meet us on arrival. The unit is a cosy self contained and private section in the downstairs area of their home. Very comfortable bed. Having off-street parking is a bonus.

Hostess with the mostest! beautiful cozy and warm. The shower pressure was lovely, supplied nice thick towels, bed was super cozy. Bonus my 2 medium size dogs who mean the world to me were allowed to stay. No dog smells was super clean. Had plugs for phone charger right by the bed, kitchen fully equipped. Clear instructions. Felt a warm welcome before my arrival with Annies messages. Annie has beautiful energy. I definitely will be booking again. everything super close, supermarket, petrol station etc. Nice burger place called Mountain burgers around the corner in town. highly recommend with their home made sauce. nice walking areas nearby too. Absolutely loved my stay and the dogs too 🧡

After a long drive from Auckland to Wellington, Alex and Josie’s place was amazing. Easy to find and get in (great photos), pristine accommodation , great shower pressure and hot water was immediate in the shower. Everything you needed was there and the bed was so comfortable! There’s even a resident tui to serenade you. Walkable distance to the Roxy, great fish and chip shop opposite the Roxy and near the road to Worser Bay. Great ‘find’ in the cool capital!
