beautiful tiny house in beautiful surrounds. we came for the wellington anniversary weekend and it was a great location for a minibreak. the view of the night sky from the garden was fantastic. lauren was very helpful and the property had a lot of nice little touches

The place is totally beautiful and suitable for a nice getaway from a busy city life. It’s peaceful and plenty of outdoor chilling area. The interior is tastefully decorated with personal touches. And Dale is so lovely to communicate throughout and understanding of our sudden change of situation. It’s hard to find such lovely hosts in Airbnb sometimes, so we are lucky to have met her!

Everything about this property is fantastic. It’s our go to place for every judge that we have adjudicating our competition.

This place was amazing! It's honestly like a little slice of paradise. The location is was very secluded and away from light pollution, which was perfect for astrophotography and also taking pictures of the local birds (the fantails get so close!). The complimentary breakfast and snacks were much appreciated, we didn't need to bring much ourselves since we mostly went out in the afternoon for lunch/dinner. TV (with chromecast) was a big plus for us to wind down while we settled up for the evening. The pool was readily available for us but it was a shame we didn't have time to try it out. And the BBQ stand was perfect for us to make dinner while we enjoy the outdoors with a campfire :) The stay was super comfy and cozy, I highly recommend this place if you are in the area!

A wonderful little studio on a beautiful property. Very comfortable and pleasant and we loved having art on the walls. Brenda was really friendly. It was a short walk to everything we needed and close to the ferry. It was an absolute delight to stay there.

We loved our stay here, views are incredible over the cook straight, ferries and planes coming and going all the time, very steep driveway but room at the top to turn around, felt modern, clean and cosy. We would definitely stay again.

Helen’s place is a beautifully decorated, fully equipped, very clean, comfortable, cozy and quiet little cottage in Central Masterton. We stayed in April over a weekend, I found the bed very comfortable, had a very good rest after our long drive. The Wool Shed Museum, Aratoi Museum, and the Queen Elizabeth Park is a 4 min walk. Highly recommended, thank you very much Helen!

We liked it so much that we decided to stay an extra night! It is bigger than it looks on the pictures and very clean. It’s in a very calm area and you get a lot of privacy so you can really enjoy the nature surrounding you! Would definitely recommend.

This is a great place to try out a tiny home adventure. It has a beautiful plot with an amazing view over the river valley. These deck and living space both share the view with full size folding doors. It is a tiny house so visitors should be ready for that, and it’s an amazing setting. Also very close to wineries and minutes from Havelock North center with plenty of places to eat.

My stay at Kerryane's place was wonderful! It's close to the city center, which was a priority for me, but still offers the peace and quiet of not being right in the heart of Wellington. The room is very comfortable. After long hours of driving to Wellington, arriving and sleeping in such a cozy, comfortable bed was amazing! I was also able to cook some food on the hot plate. The bathroom is separate from the room, very spacious, directly in front of the unit, and private. Kerryane and her family are incredibly welcoming and kind. I highly recommend this place. It's perfect for anyone looking for comfort and peace, while still being close to the city center.

I love this place! It's perfect if you are doing through and need a place to stay or if (like me) you want to visit the area but have a peaceful private end to your day. It's quiet here, green and with no TV you get to actually spend time together.

Laura's place is really delightful, a true refuge from the city. We loved the thoughtful attention to detail and the design of the apartment. It's extremely private and comfortable and surrounded by bush and birdsong (mostly tui). Everything you could think of is provided including frozen bagels and croissants, and comprehensive kitchen equipment. It will certainly be our first choice for our return visits to Wellington. Parking and turning is fine for a small car like ours but would be more challenging for a large car.

Had a beautiful stay. Very inviting. My daughter was able to play with there dogs and puppies and use their trampoline. Quiet and super comfy. Lovely hospitality.

Priscillas place is absolutely stunning and so well built. The location is very quiet within the valley. Only a short drive to Wellington. Priscilla sent us a lot of tips and information upfront, as well as pictures of the whole building process. A hidden gem. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The perfect get away! Stunning views and they’ve thought of everything from supplies, beautifully decorated and furnished. You’ll instantly feel at home and relaxed. 10/10 accommodation

This is the quintessential Kiwi bach with a bonus trampoline for the kids and a volleyball net for everyone! We enjoyed the generous outside living space, and there is a covered outside deck for our family dog to stay. The home had everything we needed, was very clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. Great location, only a 2-minute drive to the beach, and to the forest for walking and biking tracks. Supermarket is about an 8-minute drive into Foxton.

Lovely cosy feel.. log fire was on rainy day. Fresh free range eggs from her chooks for breakfast. Went out of her way when the weather got crazy. Would stay again

Louise is a fantastic host, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Louise provided clear instructions, was flexible to our arrival time, provided great local recommendations and made us feel very welcome. The location is lovely and quiet, a short drive to Napier or Hastings. The space is warm and comfortable, everything was tidy and very clean. The bed is comfortable and the space feels homely. Thank you for having us, the dogs were awesome too!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Al was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. He even baked some delicious biscuits for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The surroundings were peaceful, quiet, and immersed in nature, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Plus, the location was so convenient, with shops and malls just a short drive away. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with a personal touch!
