Beautiful property! Immersed in nature. Absolutely loved it!

Best Airbnb either of us have ever stayed in, in our extensive travels. We are still in disbelief of this home. If you have the chance to stay, do it. We had hesitated to book because there’s so much to do along the South Island, but now we know that this home is worth making the special visit. We will not be forgetting the serenity and beauty of Fallow Ridge: the uninterrupted panoramic view of sheep-dotted mountainside, the warm bath overlooking the sunset, the beautiful fog rolling in and out around the house. We walked along the road and down to the river and never actually went back down into town in our two nights because the property was just too awesome to leave; we recommend you arrive with some groceries as we did, in case you feel the same! The thoughtful details from our hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were glad to meet David out on a walk and we regret to have not met Sarah, who we wish to also sincerely thank for such a lovely stay!

A beautiful spot worth a stop in Twizel. We were there on a cloudy day so didn’t get to take advantage of star viewing but the cabin was lovely and cozy all the same!

Great place to relax while being close to Mt Cook to enjoy all the hikes. The place has everything from slippers to use to a bunch of blankets to snuggle under. It felt like a step up in luxury from a normal place.

Very unique and one of a kind Airbnb. Amazing touches including the hot tubs outside! David and Toni have amazing local knowledge and we were able to improve on our next days journey by listening to their ideas. Nothing was too much for them! We had an amazing stay at Liz and Garry’s place. The entire property was so beautiful and the accomodation was wonderful, clean and so well appointed. The small touches such as having the fire prepared and ready to light, as well as the cheese platter and food items provided made our stay so welcoming and comfortable and we were able to relax the moment we set foot inside. The beds and pillows were really comfortable, towels were soft and the entire place was so clean and set up well. Lots of additional aspects such as the washing machine, condiments, bug spray and the bikes to ride added to our stay. The outdoor bath was also a lovely added feature to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. Overall we had an amazing stay and rate it 10/10, if we’re ever near the area again we will 100% return!! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

A truly magnificent experience, felt like the perfect way to experience the New Zealand countryside. Highly recommend arriving during daylight. Kenny was an amazing host: attentive, responsive and so kind. We thank Kenny for letting us stay at his beautiful cabin.

We stayed just one night, but found everything to be great. Finding parking and the unit itself is easy via the signs on the property. The home itself is very new and has modern outlets with USB-C ports as well. Bathroom has a very nice space heater at the top that makes the space very pleasant and warm after showers.

Good place to explore lake Tekapo/Mt Cook for reasonable prices. Cabins are comfortable with a fridge inside, but the bathroom and kitchen are outside.

Great spot!!! Highly recommend if solo traveling through the South Island. Great hosts- I forgot my tooth brush and they told me and let me grab it!!!

Great little spot where you feel like you’re literally in a different world, spacious for a small space.

Basic cabin bed and tv, fridge. Good value for money if passing through Could do with active lights when using the loo at night. very helpful staff, had a flat tyre they pumped it up and recommended a garage

Felt like we stepped into a scene from Yellowstone - endless landscape, fire crackling, and not a soul in sight. Proper off-grid vibes, but comfy and cozy. The kind of place where time slows down and stars show off. Unreal stay—didn’t want to leave! Kenny nailed the instructions, was super helpful and responsive, thank you so much!
