We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a perfect space for our family with plenty of space for us and our dog. The location was great - perfect for accessing the countryside and the city - with all the amenities needed for during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was homely with everything you need. The Lord Nelson pub was just perfect with some very friendly locals and a great pint! Ingrid and Ric were thoughtful hosts who provided us with useful local information and a pint of milk to make a cup of tea at the end of a long journey! A lovely village and an amazing cottage.

Excellent property, very clean and Dan was always at the end of the phone for anything we required, including recommendations for the family trip. Highly recommended.

The place was very clean and tidy. Bed was exceptionally comfortable and lovely shower with an option for a bath. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Three of us stayed in the house and my partially sighted friend found the steep and narrow stairway to the kitchen too difficult to manage. The fact that the door opened towards the stairs meant it covered the wider part of the steps. We understand this is a mill house and steps are inevitable and most people will manage, as did my other friend and I. This isnt a complaint at all as the stay was very enjoyable and I would love to visit again.

This is our favourite place to stay when we visit Halifax, especially when we want to bring our two dogs. It's only a few minutes' drive from the Piece Hall, Shibden Hall, the Bankfield Museum and other places we like to visit, but it is quiet and feels like countryside. Fields are on two sides, with deer and foxes that sometimes pose for us in early morning or at dusk. It's always clean. Everything we need is right there. We especially love have enough of a freezer to bring a week's worth of our dogs' favourite food. In the Halifax area we really don't want to stay anywhere else.

Lovely, cosy home, exactly as described and pictured. Kind and helpful host. Great location, across from an excellent supermarket, and just a stroll from the center of town, with the city walls and York Minster and The Shambles.

Wow, we loved our stay at Michael’s place and he really is a super host. Couldn’t fault his service in any way. The house itself was perfect for our group, left clean and comfortable by his lovely cleaner (Mum!). Michael was also super responsive and receptive to our needs and really friendly guy. The location itself was perfect to our needs, tucked away but still local and central. Thanks Michael, we will definitely return!

Most comfortable Airbnb and all the extras made us feel very much at home. Excellent value for money. Angela was extremely accommodating with an extra guest at very last minute. An amazing, large, comfortable property and we have already booked another visit.

The college condition and feel is a real credit to the hard work Angela and staff put in. It feels like you’re at home from the moment you walk through the door and the views a just breathtaking. The bath towels feel amazing and the cottage is very well stocked with everything you need in the way of equipment and also of a very good quality. We were lucky enough to have some very fine weather and completed some great local walks and running routes. There wasn’t one thing that I could fault with this whole experience and can’t wait to book again.

Four generations of our family enjoyed a memorable weekend at Harlequin Cottage. Finding somewhere to suit toddlers, the elderly and a dog wasn't easy but this felt like home from home. Angela fielded an array of questions from my family with patience and provided a lovely welcome hamper. We loved the flock of wooden ducks, the toiletries and views.

We had the best time at Teal cottage with 6 friends. The walk into holmfirth is only ten minutes, and there’s loads of coffee shops, a few nice restaurants and pubs, as well as charity shops, walks and runs nearby. We spent a day at the yorkshire sculpture park which was fun too. But mostly we just enjoyed spending time in the house! Cooking facilities, hot tub, TV and games were perfect and we had a fab, very relaxing post exams celebration. If anything it was better than the photos! Like people say in other reviews, the deposit was initially off putting but when Angela explained I felt comfortable with it. The drive is steep but work on your clutch control and you’ll be fine!! Overall absolutely spot on for 6 people for a few days away, with room for extras if we come back in future! Thank you

Honestly can't rate this place highly enough. We planned to stay for 2 nights but had such a great time we ended up staying an extra night. Extremely clean, lovely and quiet (it was off season) and plenty of places walkable or within a short drive. Everyone on the site seemed lovely and Angela was very responsive and gave lots of really good information before and during our visit. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great stay, from booking to arrival to departure all communication was prompt and all information was provided. The accommodation was also lovely, and in beautiful surrounds. Highly recommended

Lovely property at Eider Cottage - photos probably dont do it justice. Great location to head out to some of the walks up at Holme. Little bit hard to find but that adds to the charm of the village.

stunning location. Very charming house which was impeccibly clean. Lovely, huge welcome hamper for the 15 of us. Some very cute extras including welcome letter and ducks! Lots of cooking utensils and crockery. Angela was responsive to all of my extensive worries and questions. we should have asked about altering the heating as we were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather at the end of winter!! Wow to the view and clean sunken hot tub. my mum loved her 80th. Only criticism was the tired sofas which are oddly placed. But that was no problem.

Me, my partner and kids had a lovely stay here. Place was spotless, nice and big, then with the added hot tub and sauna. All exactly what we all needed after a couple of days at Alton towers. Scott was very quick to respond with any questions we ask. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay.

Exactly as described in a quiet street 10 min walk along the canal top path or road into town. Very clean with everything you need f weekend n Skipton and surrounding areas. Will return

we had a fantastic stay here. the cottage is beautiful, the garden with pod is perfect to enjoy the local scenery. it was the best sleep I've had in months, so quiet! John was always on hand if neded and very friendly & helpful. we felt very welcome. the cottage has everything you need and more!! I especially loved the history of the house and the way if was decorated/accessorised. my daughter absolutely loved it!! she is 10 and was very sad to leave. I'm certain we will return! the pub up the road was amazing...a lovely walk for tea! food was delicious and very good value. I would highly recommend this cottage and can't wait to come back. thank you John for being a wonderful host and letting us share in the history of this magnificent building.

We are first time visitors in Skipton and glad we stayed with Mel and Jason's place. It was near to the place we were meeting with friends so that comes handy with us getting uber to and from the place. We were out much of the day so it's just nice to come home to a cozy place. Mel and Jason were responsive and timely with their reminders. They also offered some bread, eggs and butter which was thoughtful.

Had an amazing stay at York, which made my family and I felt just right at home. Conveniently located at a peaceful estate with a 10min walk to the city centre. Rachel was very responsive and tried her best to accommodate to our needs. The kitchen and bathroom were very clean and well equipped with whatever we need. The linen (hotel grade towels) are clean (I usually don't trust Airbnb towels but this was trustable). The beds were super comfortable, especially the master bedroom one. Even though the house was very old, it still feels very cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended if you are planning to stay in York! 5/5!! ✨

We stayed at sues as it was close to my partners grandparents to visit whilst we had our dogs. It was as described and she kindly provided treats for us all on arrival. The dogs settled well there. It was well equipped and had everything you could think of and more. The only things id want to mention was the creaky floors for us and we found we heard every step, however i am a light sleeper and go to bed early so this may not affect others. The second thing was that there is no direct access to the garden which isnt ideal when your young dog needs a pee at 4 am having to walk out the front then down the side. We had a lovely stay regardless

I've stayed in this cute cottage a few times and I love it. It has everything you need, with a very comfortable, welcoming and peaceful vibe, and surrounded by glorious countryside. So glad I've already booked again for next month!
