Waldo County : locations de vacances avec petit déjeuner

Me and my husband stayed at Katrina's place during our visit to Acadia National park. What a charming place - words can't really describe how cozy it is. We were so glad to find kettle and plenty of teas after a long day, not to mention a full "minibar" of snacks. Would recommend Katrina's place to anyone!

Carrie went above and beyond. The setting and surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. However, the hospitality we experienced is worth the price of the stay itself. Carrie baked us fresh sourdough bread that was bakery quality. She also had blueberry muffins, condiments, fresh grapes, and a bottle of wine in the fridge. She was very helpful with instructions on using the ferry and where to go for a hike on the island. We will absolutely stay again the next time we are in the area!

After an extremely busy and somewhat stressful day of searching for real estate arriving at Kathryn's Airbnb was somewhat of an oasis. We couldn't be exactly sure of our arrival time but Kathryn was flexible and very helpful with local dinner suggestions. The space was perfect for us: comfortable, peaceful, with everything we needed including breakfast makings. Thank you Kathryn, we would definitely stay there again.

My stay with Joan was just lovely. Her space was full of many very thoughtful home comforts and she was very kind and responsive to me while I was staying at her property. Thank you Joan. I hope to see you again before long.

Fantastic loft! Extremely roomy . Upstairs tv room great because while our guy watched football we could not hear it. Big wonderful bedrooms lots of privacy . Great kitchen . Wonderful views of harbor. Folks at hotel next door ( our host) were terrific especially Emma! Excellent service. Breakfast which is included was terrific. FULL Breakfast ….Eggs bacon sausage pastries bagels fruit or made to made to order. Just a great great location and lovely accommodations.

Really enjoyed our stay at Kathryn's guest house. We came up from Boston for a country fair and it worked really well as a home base. We used the kitchen a lot, Katheryn left us breakfast items -unexpected and nice. Her cat Tank came by for a few visits and we met her horses too. It was a nice experience.

While I had a difficult time finding the cute little house on a dirt road in Lincolnville ME, it was definitely worth the effort. The studio is a large bright room in Victoria’s house with a gas burning stove in case the Maine nights get chilly even in late summer. The room even has a wine cooler as the charming host, Victoria, has a wine business. The no shoes policy is not a problem as I do that in my own house as well…. Sharing the bathroom and the kitchen worked out fine. The only difficulty is the spotty internet service for cell phone calls, texts and computers, but that is explained by being in the midst of tall trees in the Maine woods. The nearby area of Lincolnville Beach is a bit touristy but nice. Proximity to the picturesque towns of Camden, Rockport and Rockland is also a plus.

Quintessential coastal rural Maine--rustic, historic barn converted to home, within steps to views of Penobscot bay, and the incredible hiking trails of the Holbrook Island Sanctuary. The upstairs gaming room/den is a fantastic retreat in the after hours of exploring this scenic region. Hosts are respectful, warm and welcoming, the kind of neighbors you wish for.
