Had a lovely few days stay. Was a very tranquil location and very relaxing. Stopping by to see the animals on site was a wonderful experience. The kitchen was equiped with enough pans to make meals while we stayed there. The shop was a wonderful touch to pick up produce from the farm or just a few ammenities that might be needed. So relaxing to sit in the hot tub in the evening after exploring local attractions which have very helpfully been highlighted in a small guide. Looking to return in summer to make full use of the bbq on site and firepit.

The bolt hole was the perfect place to return to after a days hiking around the coast. Very cosy , especially when the log burner is roaring and extremely peaceful. Lastly the host was very accommodating and responsive ,we will be back!

The second time I have stayed at Richard’s beautiful hut. Such a peaceful location and lots of lovely places to visit nearby. The hut is well thought out and comfortable. Secure garden for my dog and fantastic hot tub!

A beautiful place to stay that was very comfortable for our stay (2 adults, 2 children and a dog). Located a short drive from Barmouth town and beach, it is ideally located out of the way and within a very peaceful setting. The private garden is very well maintained and looks out to sea that shows beautiful sunsets. The shepherds hut was spacious enough for our stay and had everything that we needed. Thank you Hayley and Gareth. We had a lovely weekend.

Lovely and. Cosy, clean and peaceful. We had a lovely time . Running late on arrival and host going out at 6:15pm, so this did panic me as I was afraid we would have to sleep in the car all night. Only airbnb I’ve gone to that doesn’t allow a lock box or anytime check in. That aside had a lovely time and the bacon and sausages were a real treat . Thank you

Emily’s place was an ideal getaway, secluded, clean, peaceful the perfect place to unwind for a few days, the hot tub made it extra special, all communication with Emily was excellent, would definitely recommend, will definitely be returning, thank you Emily.

What can I say?! Firstly, the accommodation and amenities were absolutely amazing. Welcoming, homely and beautifully presented. We fell in love with Mables the charming little wagon. Although, admittedly, November probably isn't the greatest time to have a outdoorsy escape especially as Storm Bert was making an appearance, we had such a fantastic time. The hot tub was a welcome addition and relaxing with a bottle of wine while the stresses of every day life were soaked away was just what was needed. Martin and CarolAnne were incredibly kind and the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they were on hand whenever we needed them but equally respectful to our privacy. We can't thank you enough for our stay and we'll hopefully be back soon with the kiddies in the Treehouse! Fingers crossed for better weather next time!

Beth was a brilliant host. My partner and I needed somewhere quiet to just unwind and this place was perfect. Sitting in the hot tub, drinking the views and the beauty of the area was just what we needed. The bird song just topped it of perfectly. Beth was great at communicating and has made her Shepherd's hut perfect, everything we needed was there.

First place we have stayed in that met all our expectations! Just as pictured and described. Beautiful, peaceful, private and lovely. Directions took us to the gate as directed and check in was straightforward. We were welcomed into a well kept, squeaky clean room. The host was very responsive and helpful. Loved everything, kitchen was fully equipped made all my meals there. And the hot tub was lovely, had a complimentary Champagne. The bed was so comfortable with the tv with Netflix . Great places to visit nearby. We loved it, definitely recommend! Would love to visit again, thank you so much.

We cannot recommend this stay enough. The hut itself was cosy, warm and a lovely space. It had a little wood burner that kept us toasty and warm, a kitted out kitchen and a great bathroom too. There is great attention to detail with Sue providing some milk for us in the fridge. Sue herself is absolutely wonderful, so responsive and informative and we cannot express our gratitude enough of being saved from a muddy embankment we were stuck in further along the road. Overall, such a lovely and peaceful stay in a beautiful part of the country with a fantastic host.

My partner and I stayed at Penny’s place for a long weekend and we couldn’t have asked for anywhere more perfect. The location is so peaceful and really allows you to re-centre. The Shepherd’s hut and the barns are so cosy and have everything you could possibly need for a more “off the grid” feel. We loved spending evenings in the barn - playing darts before the sunset and bird spotting with the binoculars Penny provides, then later sitting in candlelight and taking in the night sky. Make sure to listen out for the Tawny Owl who is very vocal! Penny is so friendly and is more than willing to give you walk recommendations or anything else you might need help with. She’s also left us some of the nicest carrot cake we both ever had. Thank you, Penny. We will definitely be returning!

We loved our stay at the hut, It was so peaceful and calm. it was the perfect escape from everyday life! The hut itself was cozy, stylishly decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay as it was a last minute booking. The attention to detail was fantastic, from the soft bedding to the well-equipped kitchenette. The highlight was, without a doubt, the hot tub! Sitting under the stars, soaking in the warm water was pure bliss. The surroundings were peaceful and picturesque, making it a great spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. Emma was welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed, offering great local recommendations. If you’re looking for a unique and relaxing retreat, I highly recommend this place – we will definitely be back!

The shepherd's hut was so pretty and beautifully decorated. The welcome sign as we pulled up was lovely and personal. The complimentary welcome package was a lovely touch. We would definitely book the accommodation again!

Beautiful surroundings and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. Although we never met Aly she was contactable whenever we would’ve needed. Thank you very much for a lovely stay- 2 nights was not really long enough I could definitely stayed for longer.

I needed a detox from everyday life and that’s exactly what I got. Sleeping in the Shepard’s hut was surprisingly comfortable and a lovely experience!

Claire’s place is gorgeous! Cosy and warm with beautiful rustic charm. It felt like quite an adventure getting down the lanes in the dark but clear instructions and a warm welcome. Field was great for the dog and that and the nearby beaches meant he didn’t want to come home. We had a relaxing weekend and would definitely come again.
