Had a lovely few days stay. Was a very tranquil location and very relaxing. Stopping by to see the animals on site was a wonderful experience. The kitchen was equiped with enough pans to make meals while we stayed there. The shop was a wonderful touch to pick up produce from the farm or just a few ammenities that might be needed. So relaxing to sit in the hot tub in the evening after exploring local attractions which have very helpfully been highlighted in a small guide. Looking to return in summer to make full use of the bbq on site and firepit.

The pictures really don't do it justice. We had an amazing time and there's so much around the area to see, we've not even scratched the surface. We'll definitely be coming back.

A truly beautiful cabin set in peaceful surroundings. The cabin has everything you need. I stayed for a wedding locally and it was the perfect location and provided everything I needed. Would highly recommend and would love to go back to explore the hikes around the area. Carol and George are wonderful hosts and very helpful.

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

A beautiful place to stay that was very comfortable for our stay (2 adults, 2 children and a dog). Located a short drive from Barmouth town and beach, it is ideally located out of the way and within a very peaceful setting. The private garden is very well maintained and looks out to sea that shows beautiful sunsets. The shepherds hut was spacious enough for our stay and had everything that we needed. Thank you Hayley and Gareth. We had a lovely weekend.

Emily’s place was an ideal getaway, secluded, clean, peaceful the perfect place to unwind for a few days, the hot tub made it extra special, all communication with Emily was excellent, would definitely recommend, will definitely be returning, thank you Emily.

What can I say?! Firstly, the accommodation and amenities were absolutely amazing. Welcoming, homely and beautifully presented. We fell in love with Mables the charming little wagon. Although, admittedly, November probably isn't the greatest time to have a outdoorsy escape especially as Storm Bert was making an appearance, we had such a fantastic time. The hot tub was a welcome addition and relaxing with a bottle of wine while the stresses of every day life were soaked away was just what was needed. Martin and CarolAnne were incredibly kind and the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they were on hand whenever we needed them but equally respectful to our privacy. We can't thank you enough for our stay and we'll hopefully be back soon with the kiddies in the Treehouse! Fingers crossed for better weather next time!

The Cowboys hut was a beautifully made hut in an idyllic location. Danna left a lovely welcome hamper on arrival and the hut was clean and tidy. The log fire kept us toasty and we would love to visit again.

Incredible hospitality and a beautiful shepherd’s hut! We were looked after incredibly well, with a friendly reception and great recommendations. The welcome pack they provide of milk, eggs etc went down very well and provided us with all the essentials for the 3 nights we stayed there. The hut itself is really well appointed, including an excellent bathroom. The place was spotless and is clearly well looked after. We would definitely visit again and would fully recommend Anna Lisa’s property to anyone.

Emma’s shepherds hut was more than we could of expected! Me and my partner stayed here for our anniversary and it was the most perfect place to be! Not only does this cozy hut provide you with everything you need it is also in perfect distance from the brecon national park as well as some lovely views and walks around the location. Emma was a great host with quick and helpful responses. We will definitely be staying again, thanks so much again !

We had a fantastic stay with Charlotte had everything we needed hot tub was amazing and the location was very peaceful we even got to have a look where the Shepards huts where made. We were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay by all the family including the dogs ! Would love to visit again some time in the future definitely one of the best places we have stayed at in wales :)

Had a fabulous weekend here. The hosts are helpful but not intrusive. The "hut" is gorgeous. Super cute! Really comfortable and clean. Peaceful area and easy walkable access to coast path. Will be back 🙂

Carol is a lovely host and the airbnb is beautiful. We loved playing with the dogs, they're so adorable and soft. We only went for one night but would relish the opportunity to come back for longer!

We had the most lovely stay, this cabin really is gorgeous. It felt more spacious than the photos showed too, especially with the sun on the outdoor terrace meaning we could use that as a bonus dining area - with mountain views! Hosts were really responsive, we had a temporary boiler issue but it was sorted in no time. So many lovely personal touches around the cabin, we loved the outdoor fire pit too - perfect for some star gazing. And feeding the alpacas was a great treat 😊 Just in case anyone is as daft as me, the hot tub is not included in the price! It does state this in the description for the stay, however because it’s in the list of amenities and was something I had filtered my search for I assumed it would be included. We had a wonderful stay without it, but did think that the price upon booking was inclusive of the tub. It’s an extra £100 for the tub which adds quite a lot to the stay. Lesson learned - always read the descriptions properly!

By far one of the best places we have been to. Idyllic. Very peaceful and great for walking around. The hut was packed full of things to do, games, tv, reading materials etc. not to mention the space around the hut, providing privacy and with the facilities, including a BBQ, fire pit and outdoor games, you wouldn’t want for nothing. Lots of treats for both us and the dogs which were beautiful touches. The dogs thoroughly enjoyed and we loved the place so much, we have rebooked for November. Thanks Jane. You have a really gem and we looking forward to seeing you again. Jane is by far one of the best hosts we have dealt with.

Beautiful place amazing views the hut was nice and cosy was spotless carolyn was a really nice host made us feel welcome from the minute we got there even offered us a lift back home would deffo recommend and would deffo go back

We had a wonderful stay at Rita and David’s shepherds hut. The hut was very easy to find and in such a peaceful pretty little village. David came to greet us and give us some info for the heating and hot water which was really helpful and the welcome guide was also really useful. We had dinner at the Royal Oak which was delicious and they were so friendly in there! We also noted how quiet and peaceful it was as we walked back, so lovely to be away from the constant cars and general noise of a city. We would definitely return to Rita and David’s place, great value for money and a lovely find!

Was our first time using Airbnb, had an amazing time at sue's place - peaceful, clean and ideal location for taking the dog with us, due to the secure fenced in area around us. Sue was a great, friendly host right from the start and very informative. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Beth was a brilliant host. My partner and I needed somewhere quiet to just unwind and this place was perfect. Sitting in the hot tub, drinking the views and the beauty of the area was just what we needed. The bird song just topped it of perfectly. Beth was great at communicating and has made her Shepherd's hut perfect, everything we needed was there.

We had a wonderful stay here, so peaceful and beautiful! Our first night stay the weather was awful (wind and torrential rain) but the logstove in the hut made it sooo cosy! Hot tub was great after a day exploring Elan Valley! Very private area, hut was beautiful inside and out! Loved our couple of nights away and will definitely be back again!
