We very much enjoyed our stay! The condo was as advertised. Very clean and so very peaceful. The close proximity to Chattanooga was ideal. We hope to return in warmer months to enjoy some more of the area.

My fiancé and I came to visit the area because we were attending a dance competition for his daughters. The area is very beautiful. Mr. Gary was very kind and responsive. The weekend we attended had severe weather that came out of nowhere. We were sight seeing and he alerted us on what was going to happen and how to prepare for safety. Thank you Mr. Gary for the incredible service and hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay at Michael and Hilde’s place! The location was peaceful and beautiful, offering a perfect getaway. We needed to check in late, and they provided incredibly detailed instructions with pictures, which we really appreciated. We also brought our dog, who had a great time socializing with their friendly and adorable pups. Michael and Hilde were warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. Despite some bad weather over the weekend, they thoughtfully reached out to offer suggestions in case we needed shelter for the night. We would love to return and enjoy the close proximity to the water next time!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful one bedroom apartment for two nights. The apartment was incredibly spacious and provided ample storage, which made our stay very comfortable. The cleanliness of the space was outstanding—quite possibly the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed. We were also fortunate enough to enjoy the breathtaking view of the river, which made our time there truly special. While we had a fantastic experience overall, there were a couple of things we wanted to note for future guests. The apartment is located near a rather busy highway and we could hear traffic noise throughout the day and night. Additionally, because the property has adjoining apartments, we were a bit conscious of the sounds we made and the ones coming from neighboring units.

We had a wonderful couple of days and this perfect little retreat just off the beaten path. Great views of the water, apartment had everything we needed. Crisp linens, clean kitchen and bathroom. Wonderful place. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

It was a joy to stay at Jesse’s place. Very relaxing and peaceful. Beautiful view. This is one of the corner units so you get a view of the water from the living room and the bedroom. Would love to stay again. Thanks for having us.

Huge house with lots of room for all our guests. We got a little confused on the overflow parking and he called immediately to help us figure it out which was VERY helpful since we had 9 personal vehicles and a super stretch limo all showing up at the same time. Also what I felt very helpful is the checkout/cleaning process is MUCH simpler than most places we have stayed which was very appreciative since we had so much going on!

Highly recommend the Catty Shack! Beautiful location, and the added cat hosts were a friendly bonus. Could not have asked for more. Peaceful and welcoming.

This place was amazing! Gigantic, lost of different balconies and places to hang out, and a dream for teenagers - with a game room and bumper pool table. We really loved the kayaks and canoe (the water goes on forever), and there was a super cool old timey popcorn machine which was fun and delicious while we watched movies on the big screen. Also super close to some phenomenal hikes, and not too far to Chattanooga for the riverwalk, museums, restaurants, etc. Plus - SUPER responsive host! (One sidenote: the steep driveway to the house is no joke. It’s nice there is a parking pad on top.) Would highly recommend!

Loved our stay. Fit everyone’s requirements and was clean. Kitchen had everything but a 9x13 glass dish we needed lol but just went to a store near by. We had 7 adults upstairs and their only thing they said was they missed a ceiling fan. We Loved hanging out and playing games that they provided and especially loved the fire pit. We got to build a fire and loved our family time. Washer and dryer worked great and detergent was even provided. If our family went back to Chattanooga we’d rent again. Local restaurant down the road River Drifters was so yummy. Great owners and service there. I had to contact Hannah and Todd before arriving because we were leaving early to arrive early due to severe weather and they allowed us early check in and always answered our questions. They provided a pack n play but not a high chair. So maybe I’d suggest purchasing one and possibly ceiling fans in upstairs bedrooms, that’s all, everything else was perfect 🤩.

The decor was awesome! We had a great time relaxing and getting to meet our first grandchild! Sabrina was very responsive! The house felt like a home, the view was amazing of the mountain and river! Would not mind going again in the warmer weather! Overall our stay was a 10 out of 10! Just be careful driving to the home as there is an abundance of wildlife and a massive dog that likes to run out after cars! lol

Derek, has provided the house that my family and I fell in love with. Not only that, but his commitment to ensuring that you have a great time at his property was unmatched. Even the smallest of concerns, were meet with a swift and polite response and quick action to remedy it. It was to a point where I felt that his generosity was going way more than what the situation required, but I understand that he is simply wanting to look out for the people spending time in his airbnb It was a great time and one that my family and I won't forget and may very well look into getting the same space again the next time we visit Tennessee. We would come back here anytime. Perfect weekend getaway and just a 30 min drive to Chattanooga.

Elizabeth and her home are wonderful. This was my 2nd stay, and hope to be able to visit again. It is a very clean and comfortable home with all the amenities you need. The view of the lake is amazing especially at sunset.

We loved our stay here, we wish we could have stayed longer. It was a beautiful place looking over the river. As others have noted it was a historic home, but we loved that feel. We grew up in a small town in Alabama and it was rather nostalgic to us. It was also a great location, just a few minutes to anything you could want to do downtown. Some also mentioned the white noise devices... they worked perfectly. So much so that after coming home we ordered some for ourselves. Everything was clean, beautifully decorated, and we had almost everything we needed. The only thing we were missing was an iron. We were going up for a wedding and didn't realize one wouldn't be available. We were able to mitigate that factor because we brought a steamer with us. If you need an iron, plan ahead. Overall, it was a great stay and if we ever go back to Chattanooga we hope that it might be available again. If you choose to stay here, we think you will enjoy it as immensely as we did.

So much fun and very relaxing! We really enjoyed sitting on the dock! Gary’s place is a 10/10!

Dana was an excellent host with a beautiful home on the river. She was friendly and too the time to give us additional recommendations on things to do. Really appreciated her hospitality
