We stayed here for a weekend while visiting our daughter at Fairfield University. The location was perfect! The house was beautiful- it reminded me of a modernized cottage. Everything was spotless - made you feel instantly at home! We will absolutely be back! We tried for upcoming parents weekend in October 2025 and she's already sold out!! Definitely book - you won't be disappointed!

Lori was an amazing host. She coordinated with me on everything prior to checking in. I explained that I would be using her home for a small surprise birthday party and she even offered to do some decorations or help out any way she could. Way above and beyond her responsibilities as a host. On top of that she set up a fire pit with firewood and even left a s’mores kit for us. The most amazing thing was she left a birthday card and gift for my girlfriend. It was completely unexpected and we were so appreciative. The home was very clean, cozy, and had everything that we were looking for.

Ritestay was a great place. We didn’t spend much time there because we were there to see our daughter. Would be perfect in the summer!!

Everything was wonderful! So peaceful, clean, and comfortable! The neighborhood was quiet and safe feeling. I personally loved that it wasn’t over cluttered with decorations! Plenty of room to put your stuff down and get to your vacation. Felt right at home!

I appreciated all the snacks and drinks that were included. Bathroom was stocked with everything you'd need and there was detergent for the washer too

It's hard to find Airbnbs that can accommodate several people in central CT. Luckily, Caroline's listing came to the rescue! Good location in a quiet Manchester suburb, close to Main Street. Nice Ikea dishware, spacious fridge. Parking (no garage), was ample. The upstairs area has low ceilings, but the beds were fine. The main living room area was cozy and full of CT-related board games and books, and several candles. The dining table gets the job done, though we threw some pillows on the dining chairs to maximize comfort. Also, the listing clearly states this, but keep in mind that there is only one bathroom. Caroline was a great communicator. All questions were promptly answered. She also extended a complementary extended checkout, which came in handy.

Our host Erin was amazing. my husband had hurt his back before we left for our trip to wallingford and while we were ther he ended up in the ER. I asked if we could possible stay one more night but we would not know until our check-up day. She was so amazing and accomodated our request, we ended up staying one more night and it made all the difference in the world. house was very cute, upgraded kitchen. Great location. I highly recommend.

We had an excellent stay at Carol's place very comfortable. love the kitchen greatfor cooking!! plenty of supplies on hand was very helpful. neighborhoods very quiet at night. Carol is also very helpful in Booking us another night in one of her other homes in a pinch.

It was a lovely stay. Great location. House felt like a home and had great vibes.

This was our second time back to the pool house and it was amazing, again. We thinks of everything to make you feel welcome. Milk and eggs in the fridge. Muffins and croissants waiting for you. Pristine home. Fully stocked kitchen. I was even able to host a few family members for Christmas dinner and had everything I needed to make a lovely dinner. We also travel with two dogs and Sue is so accommodating, making our pups feel right at home. Thank you, Sue, for making our holidays away from home so peaceful and enjoyable.

Great house and great host. The place was beautiful -- big kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, great bathrooms (especially in the master bedroom), nice setup outside (jacuzzi and BBQ), etc. Perfect place for a family weekend in Litchfield. Location was perfect -- a 2 minute drive to great coffee, pastries, bread, ice cream, etc. in Bantam. Liz was an excellent host -- very helpful and responsive. We'd love to visit again soon.

Stayed here for 2 nights with a couple friends. Perfect spot for a quick getaway. Backyard and pool area was exactly what we were looking for with lots of space to lounge and relax. Lots of entertainment if you wanted to just hang inside as well. As some of the other reviewers noted, you can definitely hear the hosts move around upstairs. Didn't impact us too much except for Saturday morning. Was a little difficult to sleep in b/c of the noise.

Our 2nd stay at Elizabeth’s house and it was as nice as our last visit. Our kids love exploring the home and property which has a wonderful view. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking. We especially enjoyed the stone fireplace to relax after skiing. Would highly recommend!

We had a great time. The house was really big and perfect for a big group. The common areas allowed us to spend time together and there was so much to do in the house and in its surroundings. We definitely recommend it.

Carlos and Sara are wonderful hosts and communicators. Their family friendly home was perfect for our needs. The beds are super comfy and linens and quilts extra clean. We didn’t cook in but if we did the kitchen was well stocked. The waiting basket of treats was a big hit with the kiddos. Thank you Carlos and Sara!

The place is roomy and clean. The bed is comfy and the shower is great. There were juices and sodas and water in the mini fridge, a coffee maker with coffee and some wrapped snacks. A comfortable place to stay in a very pricy part of Long Island if you prefer a home over a hotel. We were only there for the 2 nights of our stay since we were out all day and for that it was perfect.

We had a great stay at this cottage- it was a perfect size for our family and was extremely clean, warm and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the quick walk to the beach, and proximity to town. Hosts were very friendly and responsive but never intrusive. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here for about a month and felt right at home with spacious rooms and lots of amenities provided, being 20 degrees in winter the apartment stood very warm and clean and it was a wonderful place to call home for 30 days. Kisha was very helpful and responsive when I needed to communicate and she’s very kind. If I’m ever near the area in the near future I would definitely book here again no hesitation! Thank you!

Marta & Pete were great hosts. Left helpful instructions and a list of places in the area. The Cottage was definitely a great place to celebrate our anniversary. We wish we could have tried some of their oysters, but look forward to going back during the beach season when they're probably plentiful.

As always, we love our stay at the cottage. It’s becoming our home away from home when visiting our son. Thanks for all our goodies! Always a great surprise! Have a wonderful Christmas. We’ll see you next year I hope.

Nice place located in a beautiful secluded house in a safe neighborhood. Gorgeous property. Our dogs were allowed and they were very comfortable. The amenities were exactly as described. Extremely clean and well maintained. The place was easy to locate and easy to access. It is convenient to many local stores and restaurants. Great, responsive hosts!

We had a GREAT stay with Leah! This is hands down the best value property in Glastonbury and PERFECT if you're staying with kids/animals. We had a long term stay here, and it was really nice that she had ample parking, a washer and dryer in unit, and a nice kitchen for cooking meals in. The area is extremely safe and we were able to walk around the neighborhood daily. It has a big yard, and is great for kids or animals!
