This unit is next to Brioche on Main Road and was surprisingly quiet. We juggled two cars behind the gate but one would have been easier. The second small bedroom is tucked behind the bathroom and has no airconditioning. For two couples, this was more awkward than expected but we made it work by buying a fan and trying not to trap someone in the bedroom whilst another was using the bathroom. The house is well equipped and we had a lovely braai outside at the picnic table, enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen and did washing in the machine where soap was also provided. The line was right outside the door. A good stay and would stay here again as a family or couple. The host was extremely helpful and responive.

Lovely place. Awesome walking areas, especially with the dogs. Well equipped unit. Wifi was a bit of a no show at times. Cleaning team can be a bit more fastidious. However, we enjoyed our stay, and I will stay there again when in the area.

Brenda is the most accommodating host - she allowed flexibility wrt to adding extra accommodation if required - every possible need was met for our daughters wedding weekend accommodation - we were able to host both the rehearsal dinner and family get together after the wedding - the setting with the beautiful grounds and wild animals such a pleasure. Elias the caretaker is a gem with many talents and helped with all the pre and post celebrations - this made our weekend really easy to host. I can highly recommend this as a celebration venue!

I stayed here for three nights to be closer to my CrossFit competition at the boardwalk. Absolutely great decision. Wonderful space, amazing pool, spacious park right next door and a good 5 minute walk away from the boardwalk mall or the beach. Octavia communicated so well before and during my stay. The garden is beautiful, the bed is soo comfortable and the shower pressure is on point. Would’ve appreciated some DSTV to watch the RWC but that was no train smash at all. Will definitely be back for a weekend away.

The house is not only stunning but also family-friendly, with an amazing view that made our stay even more special. Your excellent communication and warm hospitality made the entire experience seamless. We truly appreciate it and would love to visit again!

Lovely, tranquil farm stay. Peace and quiet. House is large enough and everything you need for a comfortable stay.

This is a great house to stay whilst in the area. Hosts are very helpful and friendly. Nice welcome in the house. Facilities exactly as described. Easy walk to waterfront for supermarket, restaurants or just exploring the waterfront. We were a group of 4 and plenty of room /space for us and would be for a few more without feeling tight. Lovely place.

Claudia was so helpful and responsive. The accommodation was clean, homely and perfect for our needs. The location is perfect, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Highly recommend and will be back!

One day Elmarie will be able to take down the electric fence and the burglar bars. When that day comes, this will be a fabulous destination for any traveller. Until then... well, do your research and be prepared! In normal circumstances PE would be a very pretty town and Elmarie's house would be perfectly situated in one of the prettiest parts of it. As it is, if you're coming to Gqberha (PE) at all, well, you probably have an idea about how things are here. So, with sociopolitical caveats attached, none of which are within Elmarie's power to change, I recommend staying at Elmarie's! At least it's as safe as Fort Knox in the house, there's a lovely sun-lounger area and pool, and the views are stunning. Good luck South Africa, I hope things get better and the wait won't be too long.

Diedre was super friendly and accomodating. Great location for a family with a nice pool in a nice secure complex. This was our second visit.

We stayed with Karen for three nights with a total of 5 people and Karen and her husband Hein immediately made us feel at home. They were always proactive in asking if we were ok and even made dinner for me, my boyfriend and the kids. The apartment has everything you could want including towels, hair dryer, games and more. It was also totally clean. We would come back anytime, thank you so much for the stay!

The place was great value for money and in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. Angie was just a watsapp away and very helpful. The house was well stocked with everything a home would have. Our family of 5 had a fantastic time and we would recommended it over and over and over.
