Fantastic visit! Great apartment! Brilliant Host! Everything was as described and my family and I had a fantastic weekend. The beach was right on our doorstep and we could not have asked for more. We will be back!

We had a lovely few days Easter break with our two young kids. The flat is great with everything you need. The location is superb being so close to a beach great for sand and rock pools (when the tide goes out). The pub up the road did good food and there are great days out just short drives away. Liana and Clive were really helpful, friendly and quick to respond. We would definitely come back here. Thank you!

Perfect place to stay for a couple of days. Comfortable and clean bedroom, clean kitchen with good cooking facilities and location is perfect for exploring the area. A definite 5 star stay.

Lovely apartment, even better in real life, the photos don't do it justice. Plenty of kitchen basics and Sally supplied some oat milk too. Nice quality hand and shower gel supplied and everything was very clean. We weren't lucky enough to bag one of the parking spaces but plenty of free parking nearby so it wasn't an issue. The location is really convenient with so much to do all within walking distance and without needing to use the car. Fabulous view from the lounge and dining room and good communication from Sally. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Stayed in this lovely loft for a few days on a trip to Southend. Felt very homely and had everything we could have needed. Great that the tv was all set up with the apps and easy to watch all the streaming services, and games and books available if we fancied a night in. Cupboard was stocked with essentials for cooking and the coffee and biscuits were a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

We have just come back from an amazing stay for my sisters birthday. We were so blessed with the weather which meant we were able to witness the most beautiful sunsets whilst sat on the decking. We were all very sad to leave, but am hopeful we will get to return in the future.

A cosy, warm and comfortable place to stay in Margate. We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb. The place was spotless, exactly as described, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making the whole process smooth from check-in to check-out. The location was perfect — close to everything but still peaceful and quiet. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We had an absolutely wonderful week in this great property- the direct access to the beach is very special - and the house is a real home, furnished for comfortable living rather than rental. Lots of gorgeous walks near by - great golf course up the road, handy EV charging point 2 mins walk away, and Ashford designer shopping outlet 30 mins drive away.

Beautifully decked out accommodation over 2 cabins and a retro Airstream, all within 5 mins walk of a stunning beach. Great for multi generational family get together or friends with kids sleeping in bunk beds. Sam was super responsive and overall a very good experience

We had a fabulous stay at Barefoot. The house was terrific - great set up inside, extremely clean and comfortable and with all we needed (and more) for a perfect few days at the beach. The location is amazing - literally right on the beach, nestled amongst beautiful dunes which the kids adored. And being able to step right onto the sand was glorious. Mark was extremely helpful with all we needed and also local recommendations - communication always v quick and easy. Thoroughly recommend staying at Barefoot! We are sure to be back!

What. A. Gem.! Unbelievable location. Unbelievable house! Quiet and convenient, yet right on the beachfront and in the middle of town. With very convenient private parking.

Our school reunion group had a lovely time at the house and the surroundings. Would highly recommend to groups of friends or a large family group.

I had lovely stay again, it's my go to place for when I visit Southend. The view from the balcony is the best part about this stay, whether it's sunny or raining it's still nice to look out of :) They've redecorated the living room since I last visited which looks really nice, it gives it a modern feel :) I'd highly recommend this place if you're in the area

It was just as you described it, very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Lovley property, very warm, parking was an issue on arrival but soon sorted. Area is a bit rundown but location to the oldtown with plenty of nice pubs & restaurants is a short 5-minute stroll away. Perfect if you have a dog as the local beach is a 2-minute walk. Supermarket (Aldi) is 2-minute walk as are a few local bars & coffee shops.

Wonderful stay, great Hosts, amazing views, everything you will need for a stay for the weekend or weeks at the sea! The view from the deck of this Airbnb is beyond compare! Just Watching the boats can absorb hours!

I want to thank Samantha, she was very attentive throughout and also recommended wonderful places in the area. It's a beautiful and warm apartment, you feel right at home, it has a gorgeous view of the beach where you can enjoy fantastic sunsets, the place has everything you need to make your stay magical and unforgettable, very clean and comfortable place. My partner and I had such a fabulous stay at this apartment. Having a view of the sea from the front room and a coffee in the morning was a major highlight for us. The location of the flat is also perfect for getting around Margate. The beds are comfy, flat was cosy and decorated really well. The hosts were super helpful and responsive so we had zero issues finding the flat. We will definitely be staying here again!

Absolutely stunning apartment, the decor is spot on - it felt so homely. Beautiful views, and using the balcony at sunset with a cup of tea was perfect. Nice restaurant below, which was so handy and saved me cooking. Sea bass & a lamp shank you can’t go wrong ;) Joe and Abbey were brilliant - very communicative, kind and helpful. Which always makes such a difference! Adding this one to my favourites list, great find in the area!!

Karen was the perfect host with full details re the property sent in advance and a lovely welcoming present. The property is immaculate in all senses of the word with spacious clean rooms and a lovely balcony for those great sunsets. It is situated two minutes walk away from the beach and 20 from Birchington itself which is full of shops, bars and restaurants.
