Really loved this place! Such a lovely unique place to stay with thoughtful touches, tranquil surroundings and beautiful view. The place is really well designed and has all you need. Particularly loved the window seat - one of my fave reading spots ever! Gemma was a very responsive host too. Ideal spot for getting some zen after exploring the area. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay, it was fantastic and we really felt at home. Really enjoyed Middleton Beach, Albany and the whole surrounding area. Would definitely recommend.

Gary was a great host who was friendly and easy to communicate with. The Kestrel Cottage was maintained in a superb way, provided us with everything we needed, and was such a unique and charming place to stay. The attention to detail in the cottage made it feel like a true home away from home, and the peaceful farm surroundings added to the relaxing atmosphere. Waking up to the sounds of nature and taking in the beautiful views was truly refreshing. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful amenities and the cozy yet spacious interior. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil and memorable getaway!

Wonderful stay at the cottage with plenty of room for our dog to walk on lead and relax at the front patio. The view of the fields is like a painting. Accommodation was quiet, private and clean with extremely comfortable bed, pillows and linen. Perfect for our weekend getaway to relax and unwind. Just a few minutes drive to Bridgetown and about half hour to Manjimup. Erin was helpful with dog friendly places to visit around the area.

This was our second stay here and we loved it again. Can’t wait to come back. It’s spacious but cozy, feels very private in the bush, and you can see and hear the sounds of the wildlife (plenty of birds & saw kangaroos). The facilities are very good, the kitchen has everything you need, the fireplace is also very nice & the place is very well decorated.

Great affordable shack with most things you need and lots of comfy places to lie and read or enjoy the amazing peace and quiet. Loved sleeping under the open window! Hope to go back for a longer stay sometime soon.
