Great place to stay with everything we needed. Good location and lots of nice walks to an amazing park. Beautiful well equipped kitchen and very comfortable accommodation.

Leslie’s house in Wivenhoe is absolutely amazing! Great location and a stunning old house with lovely interior. We were two families staying there and we loved it. Definitely recommend this place!

A lovely little house with everything needed for a home away from home. Situated in a quiet residential area within easy walking distance of the seafront and town centre. Beautifully decorated with a cosy relaxing vibe a lovely place to stay.

A clean, beautiful house in a quiet street. A perfect location very close to the railway station, seafront, pier,swimming pool, town centre, pubs and a large Lidl and Marks and Spencers food hall. Walton has a very friendly, village atmosphere and lots of lovely places to go for a walk and picnic. Lots of places to eat or to stop for coffee and cake. The house is very well equipped and has very modern decor. The back yard has plenty of seating and is completely enclosed with a wall. I would highly recommend it, especially for families. I will definitely book again the next time I want to stay in Walton.

The house is beautiful and even better than the photos. We were a party of 10 and we found we had everything we could possibly need and enough room to live comfortably. We stayed mainly around the house, cooking meals and playing games by the open fire but ventured out for country walks and to visit the alpacas, which were a highlight. Overall a fantastic weekend, we can't wait to come back.

Beautiful home in a very peaceful setting, with plenty of space both inside and in the expansive gardens. Justine was there to greet us and responded to any subsequent queries promptly. It was so great to be able to pick the produce from the kitchen garden and to collect the freshly laid eggs, whilst the farm shop (for other supplies) is about 20 mins walk into the village itself. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend celebrating a very special birthday! Highly recommended!

We had a great stay! Spontaneous trip and Rohan was very attentive, nice looking caravan site great position right on the beach! Accommodation, spacious, clean and fresh. Looking forward to our next visit!

The home was lively, very clean and a beautiful hime from home. My kids lived it there and enjoyed the great collection of kids films and books avaliable. The beds were very comfortable and my kids actually slept which is saying something as they dont normally sleep :) Tracy was lovely with great communication, she messaged kniwing it was going to be a cold week saying to leave the heating on so we didnt get chilly which i thought was truely lovely for her to reach out like that. 100% recommend and will be looking to stay again :) thankyou

We had a lovely stay. Nice and spacious with everything we needed. Lots of seating when family came over. Alice was quick to respond when needed. The baby loved running up and down and seeing the chickens. Would love to come back in summer when the weathers better to explore more

Chisholm’s was absolutely gorgeous, filled with character and such a lovely place for a quiet getaway. The grounds are so beautiful and there is a very cute and friendly doggo around to spot too. The property itself is lovely, very well presented and cozy- a lot of thought has obviously gone into how to make things lovely for guests. Within short driving distance of places like Dedham, Manningtree and Mistley so we also visited some excellent restaurants. Polly herself is super friendly and nice, very responsive to messages and it was overall a lovely experience.

My family enjoyed our little weekend break in this accommodation. Home from home. Nice corner plot with a lovely hot tub which kiddies really enjoyed. Host was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend.

Lovely clean accommodation. Kitchen was well equipped and cleaning stuff provided. We loved being close to the sea, the kids loved finding the plentiful seashells. Site was quiet being off season when we stayed which is what we expected. Our host was very responsive when we had a small issue, it was resolved within 1/2 hour!! Thank you.

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

Fantastic cottage in idyllic location. Photos do not do it justice - it’s a beautiful cottage, full of character and charm. Lovely garden too. Had a wonderful stay and communication was excellent.

The Hideaway is beautiful, inside & out. I felt immediately cosy, safe & joyful. I particularly enjoyed coffee (real coffee, with a press!) on the patio, watching all the birds. Perfect stay on the Stour & Orwell walk & Suffolk coastal path. Very highly recommended!

Paul and his wife were so kind, helpful, and responsive. This stay is extremely beautiful and serene. I wouldn't recommend any other place in the tendring area!

nice and clean, ideal for us, loved how the beds were made up! wife said that she really liked the messages on the plaques that were placed around. the host was very helpful and messaged to check in on us to make sure all was well. appreciated the wine and dog treats. will stay again :)

This is the second time we've stayed here, and we came back because we so enjoyed our first stay. The location is perfect for us, and the fact that it's a bungalow was ideal for an elderly relative in our party, avoiding stairs. It's all immaculately and thoughtfully presented, and Louie was the perfect host, making sure we were all happy and comfortable and really going the extra mile for us. That the bungalow is at the end of a cul de sac made it exceptionally peaceful, and we all slept very well, and enjoyed hearing the birdsong in the morning and watching the birds in the garden. We will definitely come again!

Lovey beach hut, was booked last minute and I had a quick message with how to access etc. Normally I would go to the Eastcliff side, so this made a nice change. A little research and manage to find free parking. The only downsides (none of which is down to the host) was the pathing slabs getting to hut were really uneven and I couldn’t seem to find a working water tap (tried 3 of them). I would definitely book again as value for money was excellent, but would take some more water next time. Excellent host, thank you!

We had a great time at Alison's beach studio. It is only a few minutes walk from the beach and the Naze, which was perfect for us. The studio itself is smartly furnished, and you can tell that a lot of thought has been put into ensuring guests have everything they could possibly need, and feel at home. We liked the beach themed decor, and the fact that this isn't a sterile and impersonal rental unit, it really feels like a place with a soul. Alison and Clive were extremely welcoming and helpful, and we will definitely stay there again the next time we visit Walton :)
