We stayed for a week and loved it. The house is so peaceful and perfect for chilling out. Avoca Beach and Copacabana Beach are close by and have everything you need. The house was spotless and Henk gave thorough instructions and hints when checking in. I loved that there weren’t signs and instructions all through the house like some other airbnbs we have stayed at - it made it feel more like home.

Casbah is a must stay if you are in the Caves beach area. The house is absolutely stunning, with all the creature comforts to make your stay 5 stars. We stayed with 3 families and our kids had the absolute best time, enjoying the pool and kids room. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen decked out with everything you need, and the welcome pack was so thoughtful. Thankyou Sally for making our stay so amazing!

We had a beautiful stay at Nicolas’s property. He has thought of everything to ensure your stay is comfortable. Loved the outdoor area and pool. The beds and couch were really comfortable and the bathrooms were lovely and modern. The location is peaceful and a short walk to the lake and local amenities. The host is super friendly, responsive and accomodating. I highly recommend this property! And hope to return one day 😊

Had an awesome stay at this place! When we were on the property, whether it was in the house or out the deck it just felt so peaceful and secluded. The view was amazing – definitely a highlight. The house is super spacious, and there’s plenty of room to relax. The kitchen had everything we needed, which made lunches and dinners super easy. Also, the sound system was a nice touch and added to the whole vibe. Justin was a great host, sent us video tour of the house and appliances prior to us checking in. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a chill, well-equipped spot!

Amazing location! Was an easy walk with our two small kids to the beach and super close to the shops! The place was lovely, clean and had everything we needed plus more. We appreciated the small extras that made our stay super easy especially the proper cot, high chair and toys for the kids. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Absolutely beautiful accommodation in a perfect location. It’s like your own private beach oasis right on the doorstep of Blacksmiths Beach and Granny’s Pool. The outdoor dining area was our favourite place to sit and enjoy a quiet breakfast and relax for dinner in complete privacy. The amenities are modern and everything you need - we didn’t want to leave! Easily the best place to stay in Blacksmiths!

This was a perfect spot for a quick getaway from Sydney for a large group. We had a great time and could've stayed longer!

Beautiful location, 2min walk to the Avalon shopping area, which has everything you would need great restaurants. Only 5min walk to Avalon Beach which also has an ocean pool. There are some great lookouts and hiking tracks nearby too. There was on-site parking for 1 car and plenty of easy street parking if you have a second car. The airbnb is located on the 2nd floor of Jan's house, with a private stairs entrance (would not be accessible for a wheelchair user). The airbnb had all the amenities you would need including a full kitchen and there was a washer and dryer which was handy! The airbnb was relatively clean, some areas could have a more thorough clean though. Good communication. Thank you Jan

Donna's place was fantastic for our family get together after visiting Newcastle for the day. It is in a great location, close to the beach with a great coffee shop down stairs. The apartment is spacious with great views. Donna is a very responsive host and extremely flexible with check in and check out. We will be back.

This gorgeous 2 bedroom unit right on the beach was exactly what we were after for our long weekend away. Easy access to the beach down the stairs, keyless entry to the unit, a carspace, very clean - lots of extra towels etc and well equiped unit with lots of kitchen and bathroom extras. Walking distance to cafe’s and restaurants. View from the balcony was gorgeous and private.

Great place! Amazing location right on the beach. You get an unforgettable view of the sun as it rises in the morning over the ocean.

Great private, quiet and clean accommodation. Handy to all amenities. Nothing at all was required for an enjoyable, close to home, getaway retreat. Would definitely go back again !

Comfortable, clean, well-appointed. Everything we needed for an overnight stay

Adrian’s place was so homely and comfortable. The beds were so soft and we didn’t want to leave that lounge! We had just the right amount of space for 4 adults and 2 kids. Adrian was very generous and thoughtful. Even leaving ice blocks in the freezer for the kids! The pool and games room was a hit with the kids. Great for the couple of rainy days we got during our stay. This was probably the most comfortable air b n b experience we’ve had. Everything ran smoothly thanks to a great host.

Colleen was a lovely host who generously stocked her kitchen with breakfast items and snacks. Really lent into Australia Day as well, bless. The little unit had everything we needed, well-placed within beautiful Gosford

Beautiful location right on the beach, easy access with local cafe next door. Unique apartment with everything you need, stunning views any time of the day. The apartment was in a central location with short walks in both directions to local amenities, coffee shops, restaurants and convenience stores. Dan and Robert provided all bedding & towels and the complimentary basket was a great touch. Great experience!

The place was very close to Mona Vale Beach. Not far from the bus to the city or Manly. Close to Mona Vale shops.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alan’s place. He is a great host, provided clear instructions on how to access the property and helpful guide book once we had access to the place. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. I highly recommend Alan’s place if anyone is looking for a temporary stay in Dee Why.

Thank you Michael and Alice for having us to stay. The apartment was roomy and in a great location, close to Waitara train station and Hornsby Westfield. Michael was proactive and helpful in his communication.

All the wonderful reviews are accurate so I won't repeat them except to say that this has been added to our short list of places we would love to return to. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked for guests that want to cook. And a welcome basket was supper appreciated. We did have a car but with a bit of research into what has been said on this by Emily and others, and an ability and willingness to walk including hills, you could do this without the cost of a car. The buses are great! Even with a car, we ended up taking the bus to Manly to catch the ferry to Sydney for the day. Saved on parking in Manly for sure! We especially enjoyed the lovely sea view, walking to the rock swim pools at Whale Beach (and driving to others to swim) and finding great places to explore, walk and eat.

Definitely recommend staying here, we will be rebooking in the future

Overall, a good place with wonderful views of Broken Bay and the Pacific Ocean, and West St Umina. The place is tucked away in the hills area, so you will need a car or put yourself on the bus which stops outside. The property is located down a steep driveway. Inside it has sunken downstairs bedrooms and above is a well appointed and stocked kitchen and lounge area. The shower is great for couples who like different temperature with its dual nozzle system. Bedding is comfortable. Tip for new stayers, there is a second oil heater behind the wood heater which we discovered on checkout. Paul is a supportive host that offers flexibility.

Exactly as described, and exactly as looks in the photos. Lovely 2 bedroom apartment for us to stay in with our daughter while visiting our family on the Nothern Beaches.
