Amazing big southern mansion and a very comfortable bed. Glad I spent the money. Hope to return with more friend and family. This house could absorb a lot of people and there are so many cool areas to hang inside and out.

My wife and I planned a weekend away with our children and parents. We got there and the pictures could not tell the story of how beautiful this house is and the lake. The view from the balcony will be a picture in our home. The kids had a great time bonding around the fire pit. And playing games. Because of my very busy schedule, it’s hard to get away and this is just what was needed. I would highly recommend this home, however, I don’t think that would be a surprise.

Enjoyed our Thanksgiving get together at Songbird Retreat.

Our weekend was amazing. The main floor is large and very open and made it easy for our group to hang out and eat together. The lake is literally just 25 feet or so away from the house. It is February, so we were mostly inside, but quite a few of our high schoolers did jump in the water a few times for a polar plunge. Great value in the off season, great house, and great hosts.

Beautiful property, beautiful location. It snowed before we got there ao we didnt get to use the lake like we wanted to, but it was a beautiful view and our family enjoyed their stay.

Morgan's place was so relaxing and pristine. Everything that my family and I needed was readily available. When I return, this will be the place I would always recommend. Again, this was a great place and atmosphere.

Jenn and Bob were great hosts! The lake was absolutely perfect for my family and what we were looking for. We had never heard of Lake Gaston or been to this part of NC but we are big fans now and will definitely be back. The amenities were great! Littleton is such a cute little quiet town. There were a few good restaurants close by but we enjoyed cooking most meals! We will certainly be back.

It’s difficult to put into words how incredible our stay was. We had two boys with us (6 & 10) and our 11 year old pup. Mike went above and beyond in accommodating us the entire stay. We would like to return to Mike’s lake house every year and make it a summer tradition while the kids are still young. The boat house/dock area is where we spent the majority of our time. It was huge with plenty of place to relax. The photos simply do not do the space justice. Mike had tubes and floats available for use and a sound system down by the dock. Playing music (at a respectful volume) made our stay so much more enjoyable. The depth off the dock was 10ft, which made diving into the water so much more fun, without having to worry about a mucky lake floor. The kitchen is new, as are the appliances. It does lake a dishwasher, but Mike had everything we needed to clean/dry the dishes before we departed. What a trip! We hope to be back next year if it’s still available.

This Airbnb is one of the best experiences ever! Listed at the top of My BEST AIR BNB LIST in Wake Forest! P.S. IF “PERFECT AIR BNB" was a "location"…. "THIS" would be the "location!” I would have LOVED to extend my stay, but another guest was scheduled for a long-term stay, following my check-out. Although I was the only person enjoying the airbnb, there is a lot of space for a family. The overall hospitality and time and effort taken to perfect this airbnb made me feel right at home. This airbnb will definitely be an option when family and friends are visiting. Hosts Amanda, Corey, and Sabra were timely and impeccable in their ongoing communication and in their preparation of the airbnb property. Thank you for contributing to my positive airbnb experience. We rented Scott's apartment for a week while others in our family were camping in a nearby state campground. As grandparents our camping days are behind us. Access, cleanliness and overall comfort at Angler's Den proved exceptional. We loved the unique decorating touches throughout. While the weather was too chilly for us to enjoy the available water activities, we hope to return next summer and enjoy Angler's Den to the fullest. A great week.

We were visiting family in the area and Linda’s place fit our needs perfectly. It’s a lovely spacious condo that’s well maintained and clean. Linda was a very responsive host. We will book with her again for future visits.

We had an awesome stay! Very comfortable and restful accommodations. Nice spacious kitchen equipped for preparing small or large meals during your stay. We gathered for several meals with other guests who live in the area and had plenty of room. I highly recommend this property and their host!

We had a wonderful stay at Liz’s condo during our visit to Wake Forest. It was perfect for our family of four, with ample space to spread out and walkable to a few shops. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Loved the welcome basket and thoughtful booklet containing recommendations and instructions for tv, lights, etc. The area was quiet and relaxing. Overall, a wonderful stay without a single hiccup. Thank you, Liz!

The place was truly remarkable, especially the scenic surroundings of the house. The spacious interior easily accommodated all of us, providing plenty of beds and ensuring everyone was comfortable. The house was equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The highlight, however, was having kayaks at our disposal, allowing us to enjoy unforgettable moments paddling across the lake. It was the perfect combination of adventure and comfort, making it an ideal retreat to share with friends.
