When visiting the Allegheny Mountains in the future we will again stay at the Hillside retreat. The house has a private view of the Allegheny River and was clean and very well appointed. Elaine and Walt were very responsive with any questions we had during our stay and extremely friendly people. You can’t go wrong renting this house for your stay in this area. Thank you, Kevin.

We had a wonderful trip and the house was perfect. We could have used a snow shovel😁 but that was a very small issue. Michael and Jenn were super friendly , responsive, and helpful. I hope we can return next year.

My group had a wonderful weekend here. Wonderful space, plenty of room for us all to spend time reconnecting and hanging out. We very much felt it was a great value for what we paid, and Casey was quick to get back to us with any questions or needs we had.

Brian’s place is one of our favorite places to stay away from home. This was our second stay and hoping for more. There is a lot of space in the home and the surroundings are beautiful!

This is a beautiful, clean, and comfortable home in a lovely neighborhood. The house is close to the highway and downtown for anything you may need, restaurants, etc., but also located on a quiet and peaceful street. The beds are very comfortable and the home had everything we needed and more :) Cassandra was also a very kind and responsive host! Highly recommend staying at this property for your visit to Warren!

Jackie’s place was just as described and pictured in the photos. It was clean, welcoming, and very cozy and had all that was needed for the stay. Jackie was very responsive and clear in her instructions and we would highly recommend!

Beautiful stay. Loved the pellet stove. The kitchen has an amazing gas stove and was stocked full of everything that I needed and then some. The area was filled with a lot of easily accessible trails. Beautiful little downtown area.

I have loved this location for a very long time and was so excited to find out it was turned into an airbnb! The cabin has a cute, rustic charm. Kristy is so warm and welcoming. I was so happy to escape the noise of the city and just be at peace in the quiet and beautiful woods. Going down to the river is definitely my favorite part. I saw a bald eagle, a heron, and even a black bear out for a swim down the river! Could not feel more Americana than that. I can't wait to return! Thank you for sharing your family's cabin. I was actually hoping not to have cell service, but did find some locations around the cabin and on the porch where Verizon picked up. Especially down in the yard and at the river. Not the complete unplugged weekend I needed, but at least I could share the beautiful photos I took right away!

Kens place , the big pine lodge is perfect for a weekend getaway or an extended stay in the Pennsylvania wilds. Close to many local attractions. Ken is very attentive and quickly responds to any questions you might have pre trip or during. Appears to be newly remodled.

We took a short trip in March because cabin fever had set in during the winter of 2025! Jaclyn and Brian's cabin was everything we needed for a relaxing break: comfortable and cozy beds, an easy thermostat, a well appointed kitchen, and an amazing view of the flowing Allegheny River. Parking so close to the front door was an added bonus. This property is along the waters edge, after a nice yard with trees and grass area. Even while indoors, thanks to their well planned and quality renovations, we enjoyed the flowing water due to the large windows and full view door. Self check in went smoothly until we locked ourselves out! (A true twilight zone day.) Jaclyn and Brian responded immediately and it wasn't long before we got back inside. We also appreciated their recommendation of Forester Restaurant, a less than 5 minute drive away. Excellent food and wine!

We liked everything very much, we stayed with the children, the children were delighted with the second floor, amazing nature, the pond, we liked everything very much, the owner provided coals for the barbecue, coffee, candles for lighting, everything was at the highest level

This was my 3rd stay at The Nest and I plan to return. I love the solitude and the quiet of this little hamlet. It meets the needs for my 3 day “escape” from all the hoopla of the season.

My husband and I went for 4 nights for a getaway. After opening the door, we were so Pleased to see the Beauty inside. Every room was big. We could of fit our whole family in there comfortably. Bonus having a washer and dryer! Unfortunately, for us it rained everyday! Just another reason to visit again. As far as the price a decent hotel would of been more money and we got a whole house with all the amenities! Can't wait to visit again! Thanks to Our Host, every question was answered promptly!

The cabin was beautiful and creek-side. It was spotless, and many places in a 10 minute driving radius to go see and do. The driveway was difficult to find in the dark, but the directions Jame’s gave were very helpful. There is highway noise, but it did not bother myself or any of the other house guests at all. Overall very pleased with my stay!
