Good value and everything we needed for a family stay for a funeral nearby Would use again

We had a great 10 night stay. The house had everything a family could need including everything for a baby like a gate for the stairs, high chair, cot and baby bath. The house also had lots of games and toys perfect for a rainy day. The kitchen had all the appliances you need to cook food for a family of four including herbs and spices and a dishwasher. As well as a great washing machine, dryer and ironing board with all soap and detergents provided. There were plenty of towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and hand soap was provided as well as cleaning supplies. Most importantly house was cosy and warm all the time despite the cold weather. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and the owners were very polite and quick to respond. Highly recommend!!!

Me and my family had the best time at Chalet du lac! The views are just amazing and there was everything you needed to relax and have some fun. The family particularly enjoyed “the temple bar” it was a fab space to unwind with a few drinks and have a game of pool and darts. Both Richard and Sophie’s communication was excellent. Really helpful in suggesting places to eat and things to do in the local area. Anyone that books to go here wouldn’t be disappointed. Thanks again for a fab stay!

was a perfect stay instantly felt homely. I'm gluten free an I had some gf cakes waiting which was so thoughtful. there was milk butter toilet rolls all waiting. there was nothing I actually needed to have a perfect stay. location was so peaceful an perfect for my 5 month old puppy's 1st holiday. children loved there own bedrooms an selection of board games too. I would love to go back again in the future. thankyou x

Me and my colleague stayed here with work. Fantastic place to stay beautiful property, lovely kitchen and bathroom ,bedrooms good size nice big beds, lovely views. Lovely living room with a nice sofa, big tv good size table . Parking right outside the cottage on the drive and garden out the back with a table and chairs. The cottage is located down quiet country lane very peaceful , beautiful property inside and out .

The hot tub was amazing and we spend many hours in there. Never felt more relaxed. Thankyou for our stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this home. Myself, husband and two older teens all throughly enjoyed it. On arrival we were so pleased with the apartment. Very clean, it was spotless, a really beautiful home. We had a long drive and looking through the welcome pack was helpful, stating where we could buy essentials such as milk etc. Hosts responded quickly and answered any questions we had at the start, brilliant communication. We used the base to explore Liverpool, meeting up with family in the city. As stated by the hosts, very easy access to Liverpool, short walk to the train station. Trains regularly and a short journey. Apartment as described on the listing, we felt very relaxed in this comfy and cosy apartment. Thank you Lydia and Dave, fantastic hosts, we hope to return one day.

I stayed at Diane´s for a month, traveling from Kenya, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The unit I rented was part of the main house but had its own separate entrance, offering privacy and comfort. The beautiful lush, vast garden full of life, peaceful surroundings with horses and birds, lots of different birds, made the experience unforgettable. The location was perfect—quiet and surrounded by nature, yet close enough to Chester and lots of renown tourist destination for easy exploring. The hosts were kind and respectful, ensuring I had everything I needed. I highly recommend Hatton Hall for anyone seeking a peaceful , convenient and private countryside escape.

Property was as advertised. Good off-street parking, large garden (perfect for playing with our dog) and the house was clean and had most things we needed. The property is also in a good spot close to shops and restaurants.

Great stay, very nice location

Reluctantly left after a fantastic two-night stay at the Rossendale Cottages. We’d stayed in this beautiful & spacious studio accommodation and absolutely loved it. The staff are fantastic and were so kind throughout. The area is lovely & the walks nearby are great fun - especially to the singing tree! The bed was comfy, food yummy & hosts were gracious and lovely. I’d love to come back!

Had a great weekend staying at James and Felicity's place. They were excellent hosts and we really enjoyed the freshly baked loaf and other items in the welcome pack. Hoylake and West Kirby are really easy to walk to and have plenty of nice bars, cafes and restaurants. Look forward to a return visit.

Lovely place to stay close to Chester. We had a very short trip to shop and enjoy some time with the children. Easy to find, convenient, short drive (could have walked) to a lovely restaurant and 10mins to Cheshire Oakes. Everything was described well and we had a lovely stay. Definitely recommend.

What an absolutely incredible place to stay. Such a peaceful area and a cool place to stay. We were provided with everything we needed for our stay from all cooking equipment, towels, bedding, games and even hot water bottles. There was some really kind touches even for our little dog. Overall a fantastic place which I would love to return to one day!

Second time I have stayed as it’s ideally located for a private quiet walking holiday for the Peaks. Staying again in June- can’t wait!

wow, just wow !!!! Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Bryan was a superb host, clear, proactive, friendly instructions and guidance. as for the place, well it was perfect. immaculately kept, well furnished, easy to use the hob, oven, shower, hot tub and sauna. lovely little touches too...milk, bread, butter, coffee and tea. We were celebrating my partner's 50th and Bryan had provided some bubbly and put up happy birthday hearts and banners. we would definitely recommend and return. it was perfect. thank you Bryan xx

My sister, my almost 3 year old and I stayed for one night to spend some time together. My little boy loved it, he spent much of his time looking out of the windows into the trees. The pines is well located, very private without being too isolated. We went for a walk on the Heswall Dale which is next door, and had lovely views. We had Sunday dinner in a pub 5 min drive away which did lovely food (fox and hounds). We made use of the fire pit and had a lovely evening sat outside. The place is clean and tidy, and we had a fab time. Would recommend to others.

Absolutely loved our stay at the canal side cabin, will definitely return. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Our daughter loved the playground and all the animals. Thanks to Rod for making us feel so welcome.
