Warwickshire : séjours à la ferme

We wanted somewhere to stay as a family to celebrate a special birthday which falls on Christmas Day and this was perfect in every way. The house is really, really lovely with plenty of space to enjoy spending time together in really comfortable and well-equipped surroundings - exactly as in the photos with lots of additional, thoughtful touches not even mentioned in the description. Caroline is a fantastic communicator and her instructions and local guide are really well written so we had everything we needed to help us enjoy our stay. Any questions we did have were responded to almost instantly. Finally, Hook Norton (or Hooky as we now know it!) is a lovely, picturesque village and there are local shops and pubs within a short walk so it's ideal if you don't want to drive anywhere. We can thoroughly recommend the brewery tour and the pub quiz at the Pear Tree Inn, both a convenient stroll home after a couple of pints of Hooky!

Such a lovely calm location, the cottage was super clean and cosy. There are amazing farm routes to take walks and there’s so many furry friends!! Rita is lovely and so helpful, we will definitely come here again :) x

What a wonderful birthday weekend Thank you so much for a peaceful family stay, such a beautiful home filled with charm. The dining area played an important role in family games, cards and of course dining together. The weather was crisp and dry, the provided dog walks and local restaurants was so helpful. A family tennis match was such fun, thank you for providing the racquets and balls. We recommend both Bakers Arms and Horse and Groom for Sunday lunch. Delightful, thank you x

Fantastic stay at the Hayloft cottage. The beautiful private surroundings just outside of Stratford upon Avon town was perfect and kept immaculate. Wendy made us feel right at home and the place was snug and cosy for the 4 of us. Complimentary treats for valentines went down a treat and we loved the pool and hot tub experience which was all pristine and well organised. Thank you so much Wendy, already planning our next trip! We wanted somewhere quiet and relaxing to go for a couple of days and the barn at Badsey was perfect. The space itself is lovely with a comfortable bed and powerful shower. The breakfast facilities (kettle, toaster etc) were enough for us as there were so many places to eat nearby for lunch and dinner. Our dog was pleased to be able to have a sniff around the garden.

Grrat couple of days in the Cotswolds. Stephanie was a fantastic host and the house had everything that we needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a group stay.

Lovely place to stay while visiting the Cotswolds. Everything you need inside, clean, warm, and comfortable. It was also handy to have had fire wood provided, that lasted a couple of days. Lots of walking routes and little villages near by. Nice restaurants and plenty of places that are dog friendly.

A beautiful house in a beautiful location. The house itself is so beautifully decorated, extremely clean with loads of homely touches. We had a great stay and cannot thank Jo enough. Jo is responsive and friendly, we would definitely recommend staying here.

What a gem this place is!! Set in beautiful peaceful surroundings with lovely views all around. Loved the fact that the animals were all able to roam around freely. Really friendly and helpful hosts too. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality…. We will be back for sure soon!

Literally cannot fault this place!! The Piggery is kitted out so beautifully. Downstairs is the living room and kitchen area, with handy smart TV, comfy sofa, dining room table and well equipped kitchen. We cooked dinner one evening and had cooked breakfast, and we had pretty much everything we needed! Upstairs is the beautiful, cosy bedroom, and the bathroom which has a great shower and a freestanding bath. We both had great nights’ sleep as the bed is super comfy and the bedroom was really quiet. Outside, there is the eco hot tub, which looks out over the Warwickshire countryside. This was quite simple to set up (but the water takes about 2.5 hrs to heat) and it was a really lovely, quiet spot to relax in the evenings. Anthony and Julia, the hosts, are very friendly and rightly very proud of their beautiful barns!! They are very quick to respond to messages/queries. The property is about 15 minutes from Stratford-upon-Avon for wandering/food (the Woodsman was very good) :)

Our stay at The Stable was superb! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found the perfect retreat—peaceful, cosy, and just right for us and our three dogs. Our host, Karen, had placed a well-stocked welcome basket of provisions, including fresh eggs, milk, bread and more…The enclosed garden was a fantastic bonus, allowing our dogs to run safely while we relaxed. It has everything you could need for a stress-free getaway. The studio-style layout felt spacious and inviting, with a well-equipped kitchen, a lovely little dining area, and a super comfy bed. One of our favourite things? The large patio doors opened straight onto the decking, where we could sit with a coffee (or a glass or two of wine) and take in the country fresh air. The location couldn’t have been better—secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet just a short drive from Stratford-upon-Avon and the stunning Cotswolds. A massive thank you to Karen, who was an exceptional host!

A Fabulous stay. Janice and David were great hosts and the barn was everything we could ask for and more! The property itself is private, with peaceful surroundings. A proper break away from the madness of everyday life. The neighbouring area has an abundance of walking routes, and several pubs to recharge along the way. The Admiral Nelson be a true highlight of our trip; high quality food with a cosy atmosphere. We ate there everyday!! Would recommend to anyone.

lovely place to get away from reality and stay, beautiful scenic and lots of sheep’s around. felt very welcomed and the place did what it needed to do for our girls week, so thank you Lucy and Tom.

Natalie was an excellent host with a very comfortable well appointed cottage in a private setting. Such a great host and should we find ourselves back in Snitterfield we would definitely book again.

I've stayed at Andy and Rachel's place many times now, for work and leisure. I/we love it. Beautiful, peaceful setting. Homely and comfortable space, thoughtfully equipped. Warm and considerate hosts. I couldn't recommend this place more highly. Looking forward to heading back there already!

This is a lovely Airbnb in a beautiful and peaceful location. The decor inside the Airbnb is brilliant and it makes it a great place for a relaxing weekend. You will need a car as there aren't an shops/restaurants within walking distance but there are plenty of options just a 10/15 min drive away. Only thing we would have preferred is a shower in both of the ensuite bathrooms as we did all have to use the one ensuite for showers as the second room only has a bath (but the bath was lovely!) Hosts were friendly and responsive and we would love to return one day!

Very lovely stay, quiet comfortable beds and historical setting

We had a fantastic stay. The barn was perfect for our 4 night stay. Great walks on the doorstep, as well as local amenities. We had dinner in the local pub, which Clive recommended, which was delicious and had a drink in the pub, which had a nice atmosphere. Great location to drive into Chipping Campden and Broadway. Really appreciated arriving and having a stocked fridge and freshly baked bread. We would love to be able to stay again! Thanks Amanda and Steve

We had the perfect Christmassy stay at Anne’s cottage. Exaclty as described and felt so cosy and right at home. Anne was so warming and welcoming and also so responsive! The little touches were amazing including Xmas decs and hamper Anne left for us! We couldn’t wait to get back to the cottage at the end of a day to put the fire on. In a lovely quiet area but not far from main towns in the Cotswolds. We will definitely be back and have already recommended it to family & friends . Thankyou so much, your little cottage is just perfect!

Absolutely beautiful, lovely area to stay and not far from all the amazing sites, Angela is also one of the nicest people to meet, She couldn’t be more helpful, highly recommend.

We had a lovely weekend in the barn, it was very clean and just like the photos, it was so quiet too which was great. It is close to popular places like Bourton on the water, Broadway and Stow on the Wold, we would definitely recommend this lovely place to stay.

This is a lovely property for 4 people, warm, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Ideally situated for exploring the Cotswolds or as a base for walking the Cotswolds Way.

We absolutely loved our stay at 'the Piggery' We could not have wished to stay anywhere better. The cottage was very well located for our visit to Leicester and the perfect place to come back to and relax after a busy day. It was spacious yet cosy and spotlessly clean. The decor was very stylish and luxurious with super comfy sofas. The hot tub was a welcome addition. Thank you Emma, you have created a beautiful luxury place to stay and we look forward to returning very soon on our next visit to Leicester.
