The space was perfect! Very clean and the set up was amazing! Very spacious - the huge kitchen area worked perfectly for cleaning fish while still having room to start dinner. The view was beautiful! Look forward to making this our annual “Valentines” ice fishing vacation!

Great place! Loved the fully fenced yard for the dogs. ATV trails were super close and my husband fished during down time. We'll be back.

The place was so easy to use and we loved all the little extras. Our kids had a blast with all the toys and games. Thank you for going the extra mile to have heaters set up in the garage so we could wax our skis before the race. So thoughtful! Great communication throughout our stay. This was a perfect long weekend getaway for us. It was easy to book, directions we spot on, response to my questions were quick and clear. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable, very nice and cozy. The view of the lake was beautiful. It was overall a peaceful enjoyable stay and would come back again.

We loved our stay here. The lake was frozen and we hiked, xc skied and drove on the lake, which was a new adventure for us. Beautiful views from the house overlooking the lake. Kitchen is very well stocked, spices are available too. Everything was very clean and communication with Gary is very easy, he is a great host! I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly secluded—exactly what we needed to unwind. Our dog absolutely loved it, with plenty of space to roam. The cabin was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. A true retreat in nature—can’t wait to return!

We loved our cabin getaway! The place was extremely clean. Ann was really responsive and proactive. We brought some crafts and games but there were plenty of games and entertainment and the walk down to the lake and bog area was beautiful. The kitchen and everything we needed for food and the beds were super comfortable.

Awesome place to stay as we hit the atv trails in the area! Good spot to get to multiple trails. Highly recommend!

My wife and I have stayed here four times now. It is a wonderful, relaxing, and peaceful place to rest, refresh, and restore from city living. The private lake and walking trails are another source of great fun and relaxation. This time of year blackberries were abundant everywhere! So were the mushrooms, but since I don’t know which ones are safe to eat, I just enjoyed how pretty they were! Our dogs also love plenty of space to roam and explore without having to worry about the limits of a leash. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful place.

The house was immaculately clean. A complete inventory of everything from appliances to cooking utensils to toiletries that you will want or need on your vacation. James was in constant contact in case anything was needed or questions to be asked. Great hosts. The house is very beautiful inside and out. A “wow” factor for sure. Location was very easy to find in a nice quiet setting on the lake.

For people who travel with active dogs, this is an ideal location and host site. Right next to a lake, on private land, on a quiet access road for walking. Matt and Joyce laid out a few extras to show they understand how it is to travel with dogs: a towel to wipe off the feet and a dedicated water dish, among other features. The black squirrel taunted our pups, but he survived their constant attention! Enjoyed waking up to the songs of the blue jays in the morning.

Great quiet, clean place with a beautiful walk down to the river! Would stay again!

We had a great family vacation! The house was very spacious and clean. More than enough room for our family of 6. The master bedroom and bathroom were updated and very nice. Great view of the lake. Linens and towels were good quality. Beds comfortable. Enjoyed meals on the deck and games at night at the large dining room table. Check in and out very easy. Good communication with our host. The swimming area was not ideal. Lots of weeds. Our granddaughter was able to play close to shore but not real enjoyable swimming for adults. All in all we had a great time and definitely recommend this lake home.

Love coming here in winter to get away around the holidays. We always make one big family meal and the wide kitchen is perfect for many cooks in it! Great, dog-friendly bar nearby to play pool as well.

Beautiful, cozy space! Stayed during winter and had an amazing time. Can’t wait to return and enjoy in the summer.

Heidi’s property was just what we needed for adults and kids to enjoy for a week. Relaxed atmosphere and all around a great place for a break away to swim in the pool, rent a pontoon, rent ATVs (trails right off property), fun food places near by, and beautiful scenery of lake and woods!

We loved our stay at the Goose Lake Chalet. The house was spotless and the setting was unbelievably peaceful and gorgeous. The views from the main level were spectacular. The house came with so many fun games, awesome outside amenities and is a quick drive to shops and restaurants in downtown Spooner. The owners were so helpful and kind as well. We loved it! Highly recommend this location.

I can’t find enough words to thank Chelsea for being so accommodating, helpful, and supportive with our reservation. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, kept to the best and the attention to details is amazing! This is truly a sanctuary to disconnect, enjoy quality time, and soak in the gorgeous frozen lake views. This is a lovely spot that sleeps a group. We appreciated how well-appointed it is -lots of plates and glassware, ample towels and sharp knives! Lovely spot to watch the lake or walk around. We went into town for antique and art shopping.

Great games for adults and kids! Lots of space so you don’t feel cramped with a large group. Had everything you would need.
