Great place to relax after a long day of sipping bourbon. Out in the country with great vistas of the farm land. The wrap around porch always offers a calm side from any wind. Enjoyed watching the long horns. Restaurants were a bit sparse in the area but we had no problem picking up groceries on the way back from bourbon tasting and then cooking a nice meal in the cabin.

We stayed at Bill and Heather’s place for a birthday weekend on the bourbon trail. We appreciated the attention to detail, being so close to the bourbon trail, there were lots of bourbon and KY-based items around the house. The house was spotless and had all of the amenities we needed or may have forgotten. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to others!

The Still House was perfect! It is so thoughtfully designed and well equipped. Allison has thought through everything a guest may need or want. The space is close to Bardstown and centrally located for other bourbon tourist activities. The space was clean, accurately described, and beautiful. We absolutely would stay again!

The listing undersells the space - this beautiful barn retreat provides everything you could need or want, and so much more! You’re greeted by music playing on the indoor/outdoor speakers and walk into a place that feels like home. It’s comfortable, neatly arranged, and the attention to detail is incredible. Windows with picturesque views, piles of books all about, a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom, walkable property with friendly animals… oh yeah, and breakfast waiting in the fridge! There were fresh eggs, bacon, and biscuits for each morning. We had planned to spend our second day hiking at Bernheim, but we ended up just relaxing in the barn and taking walks down by the river. We had the pleasure of meeting and hanging out with Jackie, who is an amazing host and now a dear friend. She’s so fun, upbeat, caring, and you can tell hosting has become her passion. My husband and I came for a very important meeting and she provided a perfect environment for him to relax and prepare.

Samantha was quick response when needed ...informative about hot tub and cleanliness if I wanted to test it she told me where stuff was...the home is beautiful 😍 definitely comfortable and quiet...dog friendly and our fur baby loved it too

Wish the cell phone signal was more consistent, overall very nice place to stay. Would recommend to others

We loved this place so much! So peaceful and beautiful, just wished the weather would have been better! Love the private setting yet a short ride in the country to visit Springfield and Bardstown attractions! One of our favorite places we have stayed!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and hope to stay again in the future. The house is sweet and clean and peaceful. Our children love the play set and rope swing. My husband and I love the fire pit and quiet surroundings.

This home was perfect for 3 couples. Living room furniture was very comfortable! We all want to buy those couches now. Very nice setting, and enjoyed the winery literally in the backyard. Host was very friendly and even brought us fans for the bedrooms that didn't have them. Will definitely stay again in the future. Close enough to Bardstown activities but far enough away to feel private and secluded at the same time.
